UPDATE: According to Amazon, the original Release Date of Cleopatra’s album was: August 20, 2006. That makes, Cleopatra’s age at that time was 3 years, 10 months, and 14 days. My email, asking the exact date of birth of Atithi is still unanswered. But, if the age of Atithi is 3 years and 8 months, as told, she would surely be the youngest singer in the world.
Congratulation Atithi Gautam KC!
Atithi KC, who released a solo album of nine songs, at the age of 3 years and 8 months, has a potential to be the World’s youngest singer.
Current record holder Cleopatra Stratan had also released an album in 2006 at the age of 3. As, it is not clear on the date of the album release we can’t say if Atithi has beaten her or not.
Cleopatra Stratan
Cleopatra Stratan is considered the youngest person ever to score commercial success as a singer, with her 2006 album La vârsta de trei ani (“At the age of 3”). Born in October 6, 2002, she was also 3 years when she released her album.
She holds the record for being the youngest artist that performed live for two hours in front of a large audience, the highest paid young artist, the youngest artist to receive an MTV award and the youngest artist to score a #1 hit in a country (“Ghita” in Romanian Singles Chart).
Guinness World Records has finally verified Khagendra Thapa Magar, Nepal’s shortest man, as the shortest man in the world after verifying his height and weight last night. Thapa Magar was awarded a certificate and a medal in Rome on Feb 26, 2010.

Min Bahadur Sherchan, climbed Mt. Everest, the 29,028 feet (8,848-meter) peak, at the age of 76 in 2008. But, the 2009 edition of Guinness Book of World Records had Japanese national Yuichiro Miura as the oldest person to reach the top of the world at 75.
Sherchan did apply for his rightful entry in the record book but getting the honor was as tough as climbing the highest peak itself.
Sherchan first thought of setting a record on mountaineering in 1960. He wanted to be the first to climb Dhaulagiri (8,167m) but another team succeeded in climbing it before he could attempt. After 40 years, in 2002, he decided to be the oldest person to climb Mt. Everest breaking the records set by Japanese mountaineers. He started his trainings at the age of 72 and climbed the peak on May 25, 2008 at the age of 76 years and 350 days (almost 77 years).
The kid Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, is carrying is not a kid at all.
The little man, Khagendra Thapa Magar, has just turned 18 and is going to London to register himself as the shortest person in the World. He is collecting funds for the travel cost.
It is good thing that Khagendra is going to be the record holder. But, I didn’t know that you have to go to London to register yourself in the Guinness World Records.
The official FAQ doesn’t mention of visiting London.
…Once you have received the guidelines you can attempt the record and collect all the evidence as indicated in the guidelines and in the Records Breakers Pack. You can send the evidence to our office in London, where we will be able to verify it within 6 weeks and send you a certificate to commemorate the achievement, if the verification is satisfactory.
