About ‘Laal Jodee’

A movie by Dilasa Creation, the movie ‘Lal Jodi’ is a presentation of Laxman Subedi. Laxman is the writer, producer and director of the movie. The movie features the music of Tanka Budhathoki, lyrics by Dinesh Subedi and Laxman Subedi, singers are Rajesh Payal Rai, Manisha Pokharel, Praladh Timilsina, Yubaraj Chaulagain, Rekha Thapa, and Jyoti Kafle. The movie features the cinematography by Rameshwor Karki, background music and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, action by Asta Maharjan, editing and color correction by Nabin Niraula. The movie is a fun filled comedy movie. The movie was released in September of 2016. Actress Rekha Thapa had also given voice to one of the songs of the movie.

Friday Release – Laal Jodee, Bracelet and Brindaban

Three new movies have released in theatres in Nepal today on Friday, September 2, 2016. It is interesting that the lead actress of the two movies ‘Laljodi’ and ‘Bracelet’ is Rajani KC. The lead actress of ‘Brindaban’ is Shilpa Pokharel.

Lal Jodi, next movie of Laxman Subedi to go to floor in the New Year

The song recording of the second movie of journalist Laxman Subedi has completed in Kathmandu. Laxman Subedi debuted in film direction in ‘Euta Sathi’ and he is producing his second movie titled ‘Lal Jodi’ in his own direction and script.

The first song of the movie on the voices of Rajesh Payal Rai, Manisha Pokharel was recorded earlier. Last week, another song on the voice of Yubaraj Chulagain was recorded in Musician Studio. In the song music composer Santosh Shrestha is debuting in Nepali film industry. In addition to Sanotsh, well known musician, Tanka Budhathoki will also compose music in the song featuring Rajesh Payal Rai and Manisha Pokharel.

Friday release, Sorry La and Euta Sathi

This week, two new movies ‘Sorry La’  and ‘Euta Sathi’ were released in theater all over Nepal on November 7, 2014.

‘Sorry La’ 

The movie by director Rishi Lamichane features Rajan Khatiwada, Subash Thapa, Anita Acharya, Roshan Maharjan, Martin Khan etc. in main role. The story of the love story movie is written by Anju KC.

‘Euta Sathi’ shooting resumes after 4 months

The shooting of the journalist Laxman Subedi’s debut movie, as a director, ‘Euta Sathi’ has resumed on Baisakh 25 after a delay of 4 months because of an internal dispute. The dispute had caused a reshuffling of the production team.

In the first day of the shooting actor John Tamang and actress Anu Shah shot a scene. After completion of two days of shooting in Kathmandu, the team is scheduled to head towards Sauraha, Narayangad. The shooting at Narayangad and Kulekhani in Hetauda is expected to complete in a week. Rest of the shooting will be completed in Kathmandu location. The director Laxman Subedi says that the movie is a colorful story.

Journalist Laxman Subedi to direct ‘Euta Sathi’

Film journalist Laxman Subedi has decided to start directing movies. Subedi has bee writing news about Nepali movies for the last 13 years and this is the first time he is going to be the subject of film news.

In a program organized in Kathmandu on July 16 Subedi announced the movie named ‘Mero Sathi’ – to be made on entertainment theme. Subedi told that he wanted to rectify the problems he sees in other’s movies.
