The 2011 release movie of late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha with Rekha Thapa and Neet Dhungana was one of the hit movies of the year. The movie by Kabil Films is a presentation of Pradip Kumar Uday.
It’s not only for the best movies or the best actors the movie award will be presented, this year’s Box Office Film Award will also be awarded to the worst movie and worst actors.
In a program to unveil the top-5 nominations for the award, the chief of the organizer, Box Office Film Club, RK Subedi told that the award ceremony will be held on Chaitra 29 at Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu. The chief guest of the ceremony will be the prime minister Sushil Koirala.
A friendly football match, Bhakundo Bhidanta, was held between the film artists and advertisement professionals held in Dasarath Stadium on Saturday May 18, 2013. The film artists lost to the advertisement professionals by 4 to 2 goals.
The artists who participated in the match include actors Rajesh Hamal, Jiwan Luitel, Jitu Nepal, Kiran KC, Hari Bamsha Acharya and actresses Jharana Thapa, Binita Baral, Garima Pant, Poojana Pradhan, Deepa Shree Niraula, Sushma Karki, Nita Dhungana etc. The football match of the artists who couldn’t control the ball was funny and full of enjoyment. Akash Khawas had scored two goals for the artists.
After taking a break from the film world for more than a year, actress Arunima Lamsal is returning back in her upcoming movie “Urvashi”. This is going to be her first movie after she gave birth to her first child. Arunima is currently shooting at the location in Butwal.
In the movie, Lamsal is playing in a role of a lover girl – told by the director Manish Pant to be a small and catchy role. In addition to Arunima Lamsal, actor Kishor Khatiwada, actress Nita Dhungana and actor Kishor Shrestha will also have main roles in the mvoie.
