The movie is set in an ancient time – featuring the high class lifestyle of Rana people. This is one of the few movies that were made on the story of a popular book and became successful as a movie too. Encouraged by the success of this movie, Nir Shah had recently produced a movie based on another novel of Diamond Shumser, ‘Seto Bagh’. Despite of huge publicity and awaiting, the new movie however failed to impress the viewers.
