After the success of ‘Papi Manche’ (watch Papi Manche 1 here) the sequel of the movie named ‘Papi Manche 2’ was produced by the director Deepak Shrestha. The leading actors of the first part, Rajesh Hamal, Karishma Manandhar are however absent in the sequel. Sanchita Luitel and Dilip Rayamajhi are only featured in short special roles. The story of the movie starts after 3 years of the previous one. Two animals featured in the movie are Rockey the dog and Raju the monkey.
‘Ram Balaram’ is a presentation of CB Films by Chirajivi. The movie directed by late Shiva Regmi features late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha with Nikhil Upreti, Jharana Thapa and Arunima. Rajendra KC and Sital KC are the guest artists in the movie. Actress turned dress designer Bipana Thapa has designed the dress in the movie.
Nepali Movie ‘Saubhagya’ is a presentation of Shree Krishna Films by Kedar Parajuli. The movie features the background score of Binod Gurung, action by Raju Jung Thapa, music by Bikash Chaudhari, cinematography by Hari Ghumagain, editing by Ananta Ghimire, and script / dialogue by Shivam Adhikari. The movie made on the story written by the director himself was released on August 10, 2012.
Due to the hunger strike and protest of film artists, the release of new movies are uncertain. The movies scheduled to release on February 1 are Arun Khadka’s ‘Timro Lagi’, Mausami Malla‘s ‘Samaya’ and Basanta Kumar Shrestha’s ‘Padmini’.
Mausami had previously clarified that the movie release will be postponed if the protest didn’t end by the release date. ‘Samaya’ is the debut movie of Mausami’s son Vicky Malla and the actress Surabhi Bista.
