Another Beauty Contest – Riddhi Siddhi Miss Teen

I thought Miss Teen was already done. But, it was Republica Miss Teen and now it is Riddhi Siddhi Miss Teen. If the trend continues every teen girls in the street will have at least one Miss Teen title. Records are to be broken. There were three beauty contests in the last week of December and I am positive in seeing three contests in a single day. Are Guinness people listening?
Poor boys, I wish there were at least one Mr. Teen… sorry guys.
Flashback – Nepali Movies in 2009
Most of the film halls all over the country are now equipped with digital technology and are hence capable of showing new Hindi movies. As Hindi movies are more profitable than Nepali movies for the film halls, Nepali movies had to wait in long queue for screening them in cinema halls of their choice.
Most profitable movies of 2009 were ‘Kaha Bhetiyala’ by produced by actor Shri Krishna Shrestha and ‘Silsila’ by CP Poudel.
Namrata Shrestha celebrating New Year with her boyfriend
Isn’t it an odd title? You would certainly celebrate New Year with your loved ones. Young kids celebrate it with their parents, a bit grown-ups celebrate with their boy/girlfriends, and others with their family.
Yes, it is me and my ancient Nepalese mentality. I can’t help wondering how strong the love is between these love-birds. I wish this guy were the guy in the scandal video.
Yes, he did it! Oldest climber got Guinness certificate
Sherchan did apply for his rightful entry in the record book but getting the honor was as tough as climbing the highest peak itself.
Sherchan first thought of setting a record on mountaineering in 1960. He wanted to be the first to climb Dhaulagiri (8,167m) but another team succeeded in climbing it before he could attempt. After 40 years, in 2002, he decided to be the oldest person to climb Mt. Everest breaking the records set by Japanese mountaineers. He started his trainings at the age of 72 and climbed the peak on May 25, 2008 at the age of 76 years and 350 days (almost 77 years).
