The shooting of the comeback movie of actress Anna Sharma – ‘Gangster Blues’ has completed. The movie by well known director Hemraj BC is expected to follow his history of giving hit movies. Hemraj was the director who had debuted Anna Sharma in his previous movie ‘Jerryy’. The Anmol KC starrer movie was a superhit movie.

After the success of ‘Jerryy’, Anna decided to complete her studies before signing her second movie. After the completion of he schooling, Anna had signed ‘Gangster Blues’.

NFDC National Film Award 2016 nominations

The film award being distributed by Gopi Krishna Movies, NFDC National Film Award 2016 nomination was released in a program held in Kathmandu. The Award ceremony will be held in Ashoj. It’s interesting two movies released on the same day – ‘Premgeet’ and ‘Classic’ were nominated in the most number of awards – 11 categories each. ‘Pashupati Prasad’ and ‘Woda Number 6’ each were nominated in 8 different categories and ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’ was nominated in 7 categories.

'Uma' an upcoming movie of Tsering Rhiter Sherpa

The director of critically acclaimed ‘Mukundo’ and ‘Karma’, Tsering Rhitar Sherpa, is going to release a new movie based on the story of a female combatant. The film lead by Recha Sharma features well known actors like Saugat Malla, Mithila Sharma, Prawin Khatiwada, Dayahang Rai, Pramod Agrahari, Pushkar Gurung and Suresh Chand.

The story of the m
ovie, co-written by Tsering with Kumar Bhandari, revolves around the life of Uma, a character based on true incident of a brother and a sister and their ideological differences.  After working for almost a year on the script and a workshop with the actors for more than a month, the shooting of ‘Uma’ started in location at Khopasi VDC, Kavre on November 1, 2012.
