Happy Dashain to all the visitors of the site. Enjoy the sequel of hit film ‘Sayaad’, the film by Sunil Rawal. The movie directed by Pussparaj T Neupane wasn’t as successful as the original film. Sunil Rawal is known for producing hit films like ‘Hostel’ and ‘Hostel Returns’.

The failure of the film in box office caused a drift in the actress and the producer – Sunil Rawal was accused of sexual advancement towards the actress, Sharon Shrestha. Sharon hasn’t signed any films after the failure of her debut film. I had prepared a video report about the incident (attached below the film video – previous report)

About the film: This is a romantic movie with a social message. This is a story about a women’s wrong choice in life and the difficulties she faces to come to terms with and to overcome these challenges. This is complete family entertainment package with romance, hatred, friendship, humor and action with a social message. The editor is Ananta Ghimire, DOP by Nabaraj Uprety. Action by Chandra Pant, music by Anil Shahi, Hercules Basnet, Kalyan Singh, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, background score by Shailesh Shrestha and directed by Amardeep Sapkota.

Friday Release – Sayaad 2 and Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu

Two new movies, both the sequels of hit moviies, ‘Sayaad 2’ and ‘Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu’ were released in theatre on Friday – July 14, 2017. One is the sequel of hit movie ‘Sayaad’ and another that of ‘Prem Geet’.

About ‘Sayaad 2’

The movie is written and directed by Pusparaj T Neupane. It features a new artists and a new story when compared to the original of the sequel. Produced by Sunil Rawal, the movie features Sushil Shrestha, Sharon Shrestha, Amrit Dhungana, Kushal Pandey, Sushil Sitaula, Nisha Karki, and the producer Rawal in different roles. The movie is made on the story of Sunil Rawal, dialogue by Kedar Bhusal. Dirgha Khadka has edited the movie.

Friday Release – Karkhana and Kamina (4 Online releases)

Nepali movies ‘Karkhana’ and ‘Kamina’ were the two movies released on the theatre in Nepal on Friday, June 30, 2017. In addition to offline release of movies, the online releases have also been important these days. So, starting today, I will also add the new releases on online.

Offline release

Among the two moves to release in theatre in Kathmandu, ‘Karkhana’ has received a high amount of publicity because of the stars Sushil (‘Hostel Returns’ actor) and Barsha Siwakoti (‘Pashupati Prasad’ actress). The movie also organized a premier event before the official release of the movie. The main attraction in another movie is actress Mahima Silwal. Mahima is well known for her hot avatar in movies.

Watch ‘Pashupati Prasad’ and also Watch ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’ to see the acting of Barsha. Watch ‘Hostel Returns’ so see Sushil in action.

NFDC National Film Award 2016 nominations

The film award being distributed by Gopi Krishna Movies, NFDC National Film Award 2016 nomination was released in a program held in Kathmandu. The Award ceremony will be held in Ashoj. It’s interesting two movies released on the same day – ‘Premgeet’ and ‘Classic’ were nominated in the most number of awards – 11 categories each. ‘Pashupati Prasad’ and ‘Woda Number 6’ each were nominated in 8 different categories and ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’ was nominated in 7 categories.

Saayad 2 to feature Sandhya KC in leading role

The star cast of the fourth movie of Durgish Films banner has been finalized. According to the producer Sunil Rawal, the lead actors in the movie are Sandhya KC, Sushil Shrestha, Aashishman Deshraj Shrestha and Amrit Dhungana. Sushil Shrestha debuted in ‘Hostel Returns’ and Sandhya KC debuted in Bhuwan KC‘s upcoming movie ‘Dreams’. Others are new faces in the Nepali film industry.  Here is a video report:

The producer Sunil Rawal is known to introduce new actors and produce successful movies. His first movie ‘Saayad’ was directed by Suraj Subba Nalbo and was very successful. He produced another successful movie ‘Hostel’. After the release of ‘Hostel’s sequel ‘Hostel Returns’, Sunil is now producing the sequel of his first movie ‘Saayad’.

Friday Release – Hostel Returns

This week, on August 21, 2015 Nepali movie ‘Hostel Returns’ is released in theaters all over Nepal. The movie, previously scheduled to release on May 8 had been delayed by the earthquake of April 25. The movie made on the story of the engineering students living in a hostel features new artists in leading roles. The movie directed by Suraj Bhusal features new actors Sashi Shrestha, Sushil Shrestha, Swostima Khadka, Abhaya Baral and Najir Hussein in main roles.

The movie by noted producer Sunil Rawal is a sequel of his previous hit movie ‘Hostel’ (watch ‘Hostel’ here). Sunil had also produced another hit movie ‘Saayad’ in the past (watch ‘Saayad’ here). Based on his past record of producing hit movies and the success of ‘Hostel’ the movie ‘Hostel Returns’ is also considered one of the most awaited movies of the current time.

Promotional social work, Hostel Returns for Education

The producer of ‘Hostel Returns’, Durgish Films has announced plans to help the children of remote Nepal in their education. According to the producer Sunil Racal, he is planning to help the student by supplying education materials and scholarships to the students. He told that the up to the college level students will be assisted in the ‘Hostel Returns for Education’ campaign.

To promote the campaign, the film production team is planning to visit remote places in Nepal and promote the movie.

Hostel returns is scheduled to release in theatre on Baisakh 25. A part of the money collected from the screening will also be used in the campaign. A sequel of ‘Hostel’, new movie ‘Hostel Returns’ is directed by Suraj Bhusal and features Sushil Shrestha and Shashi Shrestha in leading roles. The movie is made on the story of engineering students living in college hostel.
