The Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, Manisha Koirala, was one of the top actress of 1990s in Bollywood. She debuted in a 1991 release movie ‘Saudagar’. That was also the debut of the long list of affairs of Manisha. I had listed the listed the names of 11 boyfriends of Manisha in 2010. She married the last one – Samrat Dahal. Like her affairs, Manisha’s marriage also ended in a short time. Within 6 months, she started telling that the relationship is not going well with her husband. In 2012 they divorced.

Right after the divorce, by the end of 2013, Manisha was diagnosed of ovarian cancer. It took almost a year to treat and get well. Now, she is well and is ready to resume her acting career. Manisha’s upcoming movie ‘Dear Maya’ is going to release on June 2, 2017. After the release, Manisha is planning to go on a vacation towards the mountain.

Manisha Koirala to be a mom – both in Reel life and Real life

Actress Manisha Koirala has told that she is going to be a mother. She got married in 2010 to Samrat Dahal, but the marriage didn’t last long. They were separated in less than a year. The formal divorce was done in 2012. After that, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She was treated in the USA and became cancer free. It is going to be 5 years of her being cancer free soon.

How can a single woman, that too with problem with her reproductive organs can be a mother ? Yes there is a way – the Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, actress Manisha Koirala has told that she is going to adopt a child this year. She is planning to adopt a girl child and be a responsible mother.

The details about if the girl to be adopted is identified or not is not released. She just told that on the fifth anniversary of of winning cancer, she is going to adopt a child.

That was being a mother in real life. Manisha has also signed in a movie to be featured as a mother on-screen. She is going to be featured as the mother of Sanjay Dutt, Nargis in the biopic movie of Sanjay Dutt. In the movie, Ranvir Kapoor will be featured as Sanjay Dutt – the son of Manisha’s character.

About ‘Dharma’

Romantic and action packed Nepali movie ‘Dharma’ was released in 2011, featuring Manisha Koirala in lead role. ‘Dharma’ is a presentation of Aasma Films by Diperndra K Khanal. The story and dialouge of the movie is written by Yougesh Rayamajhi and the movie is produced by Dr. Dugra Pokharel.

Star Cast of ‘Dharma’

The movie ‘Dharma’ was promoted as the comeback movie of Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala. Manisha debuted in Nepali movie ‘Feri Bhetaula’ in 1989. But, the movie wasn’t as successful as expected. After that, Manisha went to Bollywood and established herself as the top actress. ‘Feri Bhetaula’ is not available online. The comeback movie ‘Dharma’ also failed to appeal the public. The movie introduces a new actor Samyog Pokharel.

The director of ‘Dharma’, Dipendra K Khanal directed a superhit movie ‘Pashupati Pradad’ last year. He is also the director of ‘Chapali Height’. Other artists in the movie are superstar Rajesh Hamal and action star Nikhil Upreti. This movie was made before Nikhil married Sanchita and left the film industry for five years. Nikhil has made a successful comeback and is busy in the film industry these days. Actress Anu Shah is also featured in the movie. Another actress Rejina Upreti was also a well known actress at the movie’s time. These days, Rejina has left the film industry after marrying her boyfriend. Rejina is expecting a child in November 2016.

‘Dharma’ Story:

The lead character, Rajesh Hamal is called ‘Dharmaa’ in the movie. Dharmaa is posted as the DFO of Kaliban after the poachers killed the previous DFO at the post. Dharmaa leaves his wife Gauri (Manisha Koirala) hat home with his brother Abhaya (Samyog Pokharel) and sister-in-law, Diya (Anu Shah). The poachers and the police in the Kaliban area had teamed up to smuggle the timber from the forest. Nikhil Upreti is featured as DSP Ajit Jung who investigate the incidents at the Kaliban. Nepal PM KP oli to meet Bollywood celebrities in Delhi

The prime minister of Nepal, KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to meet some well known Bollywood actors and producers in New Delhi. The meeting is being held in coordination with the Nepal Embassy in New Delhi with the help of Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, Manisha Koirala.

According to a report in the Times of India, Oli will meet actor Jackie Shroff, director Subash Ghai, producers and other well known Bollywood personalities.

Nepali celebrities have remembered the ex-PM of Nepal Sushil Koirala on his death on February 9, 2016. The most hurt of the celebrities is the Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala as Sushil Koirala is her own uncle by relationship. In a Facebook message Manisha wrote: “All my fev people are leaving one by one. Helplessly I watched them goâ€¦ RIP” and share a photo of herself with Sushil.

In the following video, it is claimed that Sushil Koirala had wanted to be a Hollywood actor in his youth. But, his dream wasn’t fulfilled because of the political unrest in the country. He was known to love movies and he used to watch movies in his free time.

Manisha Koirala honored with GOD Awards by the United Nations

Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, Manisha Koirala, has been awarded the 3rd Annual G.O.D. Awards (Global Officials of Dignity Awards) by the United Nations. In an event held in the UN headquarters in New York, Manisha was handed over the award for her contribution to the earthquake victims in Nepal.

After April 25 earthquake in Nepal, UN had appointed Manisha the Humanitarian Ambassador to help the earthquake victims. Manisha had worked for mothers who gave birth to their children after earthquake.

Namrata Shrestha, Manisha Koirala selected Best Dancer Nepal 2015

Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala, Nepali actress Namrata Shrestha and actor / director Nischal basnet were the the judges of the dance competition organized by Sushila Arts Academy. In the grand finale organized on April 3 in Russian Culture Center, the Best Dancer Nepal 2015 title was awarded to Jenisha Dangol.

In the event, Manisha was also honored by Guest of the Honor for accepting to be one of the judges of the competition. With Manisha, Namrata, Nischal, and Tata Motors country manager Hemanta Puranik were the judges of the competition in the finale.

The jury of the competition also included Mithila Sharma with Hemant Puranik.

Manisha Koirala making a comeback in Game, looks as good as ever

Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, Manisha Koirala, is ready to make a comeback in movies. She had to take a break when she was diagnosed of cancer in 2012. She went to the USA for the treatment and returned back to India after being cured in 2013.

Manisha’s comeback movie ‘Game’ is being made in Tamil and Kannada languages. In her Twitter post Manisha told that she had started the shooting on March 23.

After the successful treatment of cancer, 42-years-old Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, Manisha Koirala, has returned back to India. According to reports, she landed in Mumbai on June 26, 2013.

Last week, she met Nepali community members of New York to share her cancer treatment experiences. In the first public appearance after the start of her cancer treatment, she thanked all her family and friends. She also announced her plan to return back to Mumbai in a week.

For the first time since she was diagnosed of cancer, actress Manisha Koirala has met the Nepali residents of New York. In a program organized to welcome the actress, Manisha went with her parents and enjoyed the feast. She talked about the past and her future plans and told that she is cured of cancer now.

Because of the side effects of chemotherapy, Manisha doesn’t have hair on her head. In the program she had worn a head cover and a hat to conceal her head. In a report, Manisha seemed cheerful, healthy and happy. Nepali actress and cancer survivor Gauri Malla was also present in the event.

In an upcoming movie by director Samjhana Upreti Rauniar, Namrata Shrestha is going to be featured as the lead character, Megha. The movie named ‘Megha’ will also feature Saugat Malla in lead role. Actor Siddhartha Koirala (Manisha’s brother) will also have a role in the movie. The movie was announced in November after performing puja in Karya Vinayak temple in Lalitpur. Manisha Koirala discharged from NY hospital

Actress Manisha Koirala is discharged from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York on December 21, 2012. Manisha had undergone a 6-hours long surgery on December 11 to treat cancer in her uterus. Manisha’s body has responded well to the surgery and she is told to be feeling better these days.

Manisha is currently living in her relative’s house in New York for resting and regular check-ups. The check-ups and further treatments are expected to last six more months in the USA. To prevent cancer cells to spread in her body, chemotherapy treatment will commence in a couple of weeks.

Manisha’s family friend, Mridula Koirala, has posted a Facebook message to all Manisha fans and friends telling that their prayer is working and Manisha is going very well.
