Deepa Shree Niraula had proposed her partner Deepak Raj Giri to start a film hall. Deepak was not confident on starting a film hall at that time. By the time they started producing movies like ‘Chha Ekan Chha’, the first super hit film of the team, they had wanted a film hall of their own. The main attraction of the celebration is preparing beautiful rangoli and cooking good foods. Rangoli is the art imported from India. It is similar to our own Mandala art. Deepa Shree Niraula is at least 15-17 years older than Namrata Shrestha. But, when acting is concerned, they both debuted in a same movie – ‘Sangini’. Actress Namrata Shrestha was featured as a child artist in that movie, the childhood version of actress Rupa Rana. She later grows up to romance with Saroj Khanal (by character played by Rupa Rana). When Namrata debuted in the triangular love story movie, she was in grade 1. As a child artist she has a short role but she has shown ample talent to be a successful actress. By comparison, the child, Namrata had preformed better than Deepa Shree at that time. That might be the reason Deepa Shree couldn’t become an actress. Nepali film ‘Sangini’ is made under the banner of Binayak Film Production and Narendra Maharjan presentation. Deshbhakta Khanal is a guest artist in the film. Actress Richa Sharma has responded to the attack of ‘Chhakka Panja’ team about her statement about the content of the movie. Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Priyanka Karki and Swastima Khadka had jointly posted a statement telling that the actress is sick and they have sent “get well soon.” message. All four of them have copied and posted the same message that reads:
One actress has told that the viewers who watch and clap in our film are fools … “Dear actress, because you say the viewers are fools, your movies had never got viewers…” Get well soon!

In response to the the statement by the film makers and the actresses of ‘Chhakka Panja 2’ (Note: Swostima wasn’t in the first movie that Richa referred in the talk.), Richa has challenged them to prove that she is sick.
The sequel of ‘Chhakka Panja’ has also been successful although, it hasn’t been able to beat the earnings of the first part. The film team has celebrated 51-days-in-theater in Kathmandu. The movie released on Ashoj 11 has completed 51 days on Kartik 30.
The movie produced by Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula is directed by Deepa. The movie is running in some theatres in Kathmandu. The 51-days celebration party was held at City Centre. Comedy actor Hari Bansha Acharya cut the cake to congratulate the production team. Currently the whole team is working in MaHa’s upcoming movie ‘Shatru Gate’.
The writer and producer, Deepak Raj Giri, admitted that there were some mistake. But, he was happy that people have liked the movie despite of the mistakes. Last week, during the NFDC National film award program the producer and the director of ‘Chhakka Panja’, Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula left the venue mid-way. When the movie won two Best Movie award, they were not available to receive it. That created a controversy for which Deepak and Deepa wrote Facebook statuses too. Deepa ‘personally’ thanked the organizers and Deepak told that there is no requirements that he needs to stay till the end of the program.
There were report that Deepak told, “We are not here to clap for others,” before he left the venue. Comedy actors Jitu Nepal and Kedar Ghimire had also left with Deepak and Deepa. So, when Kedar Ghimire won the Best Comedy Actor award, he wasn’t there to receive it.
Deepa in an interview with an online channel told that the accusation that they ran away from the program is false. She told that they didn’t have any complaints against the award organizers.
She told that Deepak and Deepa had work to do, similarly Jitu and Kedar had a meeting. The explanation however doesn’t make sense at all. But, in her later statements it is clear that she was lying.

The ‘Chhakka Panja’ team attended NFDC Film award with high hopes. That was because, it was nominated in 15 categories – that was the most number of categories any movies were nominated in the award.
All the titles that ‘Chhakka Panja’ won – best movie, best actress, best director etc. were announced towards the end. In the star, all the awards were given to other films. Most of the awards ‘Chhakka Panja’ was nominated in went to ‘Purano Dunga’ – the movie that wasn’t as successful as ‘Chhakka Panja’. I can guess how torturous it would have been to Deepak and Deepa.

This is a presentation of AB Pictures Farm by producer Sita Thapa. The movie features the makeup of Shyam Baral, editing of Narendra Khadka, action of Rajendra Khadgi, choreography of Basanta Jung Raymajhi, music by Shakti Ballav, dialogue of Avinash Shrestha and cinematography of Raju Thapa. The biggest release of the year 2016, ‘Chhakka Panja’ impressed everybody — except for the actress, Samragyee RL Shah. The movie team is going to make a sequel of the movie ‘Chhakka Panja Feri’. The producer and director Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula had confirmed the movie in making a few days earlier. Deepak wrote about the new movie and told that most of the actors will repeat with an addition of a couple of top actor and actress. It seems, the ‘top actress’ has refused to act in the movie. Deepak had told that in addition to Kedar Ghimire, Priyanka Karki, Barsha Raut, Buddhi Tamang, the team had reportedly approached ‘Prem Geet’ actor Pradeep Khadka and Samragyee RL Shah for the leading roles.
According to the latest report, the ‘Dreams’ debut actress, Samragyee RL Shah has refused the offer of Deepak Raj Giri. There is no information about whether Pradeep Khadka has accepted the role. Samragyee is planning to be featured in the movie titled ‘Intu Mintu’, a movie to be directed by choreographer Renasha Bantawa Rai. The shooting of ‘Intu Mintu’ and ‘Chhakka Panja Feri’ are scheduled to start in Baisakh. Samragyee’s refusal to act in the movie is told to be because of the conflict of schedule between the two.
The festival of Shiva Ratri is synonyms with Bhang, dhaturo and Ganja (Marijuana or Cannabis). Although the use of ganja is prohibited in other times, it is usually free during the time of shiva ratri. In the festival, youths and older people go to Pashupati area to smoke ganja.

Children and youths – they ask for alm on road by blocking the road and asking for money. The collected money is usually used to purchase wood for the fire used in the night.
Married women fast and worship lord Shiva for the longevity of their husbands.
Unmarried women also fast and worship Shiva and ask for the husband like him.
Older males – worship shiva and enjoy the festival by drinking juices and laddu containing bhang and smoking ganja.

The producer and director of ‘Chhaka Panja’, Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula have asked the police to investigate against themselves in a request letter submitted to the police. After returning from their Europe tour Deepak and Deepa had visited the police station to ask them to investigate the case of a suicide that was told to be caused after they threatened the victim.

After being accused and arrested by the police, one of the four suspects, Krishna Subedi, was released on bail. But, he later committed suicide accusing it being a murder. In social network, Deepak Raj Giri was accused of being the cause of death.
