Nepali Movie – Aama (Mithila Sharma, Surakshya Panta)

The movie directed by Dipendra K Khanal, featuring Mithila Sharma and Surakshya Panta in leading roles is released in YouTube. Right after release, the movie has been very successful in attracting a huge amount of Nepali viewers.

The movie was released right before the lockdown. The movie was taken off the theater before people watched it. It was released again after 9 months of lockdown. But, the viewers didn’t go to theater to watch it. The movie was released online after a copy was shared online. The movie is produced by Sharmila Pandey. In addition to direction and script D.K. Khanal is also the cinematographer of the movie.

This is the third movie by the name “Aama”. The first Nepali movie was titled ‘Aama’ and was produced by Nepal government.

The second movie featured Shiva Shrestha and Saroj Khanal. The movie is not available online now.

Nepali movie – Poi Paryo Kale (Pooja Sharma, Shristi Shrestha, Saugat Malla)

One of the most talked about movies of the year 2076, Poi Paryo Kale features some of the most popular actors in the Nepali cinema industry. Saugat Malla is considered seasoned actor. The actress Shristi Shrestha (real-life girlfriend of Saugat Malla) was also debuted as an actress in hit film ‘Gajalu’. In addition to being an actress she was Miss Nepal 2012.

Actress Pooja Sharma is another attraction of the movie. Pooja is known for hit movies like ‘Prem Geet’ and ‘Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu’. One of the important feature of this movie is – it was produced by Deepak Manage – a Gandaki Pradesh lawmaker and businessman.

Another great movie of Khagendra Lamichhane, ‘Dhanapati’ is released online for the Tihar festival. The movie is about the life of lower middle class couple and their trouble. The film is a presentation of Tukee Arts in association with Dipendra K Khanal Production. The film was released in theatre on Ashar 23 of this year (July 7, 2018). Khanal had previously directed and produced superhit film ‘Pashupati Prasad’.

Friday Release – Dhanapati and Mandira

This week, on July 7, 2017, two new movies are released in theatre – ‘Dhanapati’ and ‘Mandira’. While one of them is made by the makers of super hit movies in the past, another is not much known about.

About ‘Dhanapati’

The movie by the writer of ‘Pashupati Prasad’ and ‘Talakjung VS Tulke’, ‘Dhanapati’ also has a huge expectation from the viewers. Directed by Dipendra K Khanal, the movie is made on a political story. The protagonist is a guy who wanted to give a better education to his daughter. He started working for a political leader.

Dhanapati trailer, Pashupati Prasad team brings high hopes

The trailer of a new Nepali movie ‘Dhanapati’, produced by the team that produced superhit movie ‘Pashupati Prasad’, was recently released. The movie featuring Khagendra Lamichhane in leading role features Surakshya Panta in his opposite. Directed by Dipendra K Khanal, the movie is likely to recreate the magic of the previous movie. The trailer of the movie features Khagendra and Surakshya living a poor and a simple life with their daughter. The struggle and the entry of Khagendra in politics seems to be the plot of the story.

About ‘Dhanapati’

The movie is produced by Rojjina Situla with Om Gurung as the co-producer. The movie is based on Khagendra Lamichhane’s story and script. Releasing On Ashar 23 (July 7, 2017) the movie features Khagendra Lamichhane, Surkashya Panta, Manish Niraula and others. The director Dipendra K Khanal was assisted by Rajesh Situla and Ashim Khanal. Action by Surya Thokar, music by Aadha Sur and background score by Shailendra Shrestha. The editor is Dirgha Khadka, cinematography by the director Dipendra K Khanal himself.

Ajhai Pani debut actress Surakshya Panta comeback in Dhanapati and Suskera

The actress who debuted in Alok Nembang’s last movie ‘Ajhai Pani’, Surakshya Panta has decided to return back to acting. After a few years of absence the civil engineer actress has completed the shooting of ‘Suskera’ and is preparing herself for another movie titled ‘Dhanapati’.

The movie ‘Dhanapati’ is being produced by the team that produced superhit movie ‘Pashupati Prasad’. The movie featuring Khagendra Lamichhane in leading role with feature Surakshya opposite to Khagendra and will be directed by Dipendra K Khanal. Dashain 2016 – Dashain Tika photos (Update with videos)

UPDATE: Dashain has finished today. I collected 100s of photos of celebrities. But, posting them in the page would not be that much interesting to the most of the site visitors. So, I collected the photos of 40+ Nepali actress celebrating Dashain this year and prepared a video (I deleted the video – nobody watched it).

I also prepared a video about the fist Dashain of two Miss Nepal sons. In addition to the sons of Jharana Bajracharya and Malvika Subba, the daughter of actress Richa Ghimire also celebrated her Dashain for the first time in her life.
