In a special ceremony held in Kathmandu on September 20, 2015, the new constitution of Nepal was unveiled by the president Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the Constitution Assembly (CA) in Kathmandu. The constitution was written after an 8-years-long writing process spanning two Constitution Assemblies. Although there are still some people who are not satisfied by the new constitution, ninety percent of CA members had endorsed it. The citizens of Terai region have complained that the Constitution hasn’t incorporated their demands. As the new Constitution can easily be amended by 2/3 majority in the parliament, all the concerns can easily be incorporated in future amendments. According to reports, the new Constitution is the most democratic Constitution in the history of Nepal. On the completion of the lengthy constitution writing process, the film artists have welcomed it and have congratulated everybody for the achievement. The record-breaking fourth sequel of ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ franchise, ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’ was inaugurated officially in a program held on Krishna Asthami in Kathmandu. The inauguration ceremony was held in Maitidevi temple. In the event, Bikash Acharya introduced the new actors in the sequel.
The movie to be made on a triangular love story will be directed by Bikash Acharya. In every sequel Bikash has introduced new artists. So far, all the releases have been very successful.

In a press meet held in Kathmandu, the audio of upcoming movie ‘Kollywood’ was released on December 30, 2012. The music was previously unveiled in a program held in Qatar, and the second release of the CD is believed to be nothing more than a publicity stunt.
In the audio release program Ashok Sharma was the chief guest. The director Navaraj Acharya, actors Aryan Sigdel, ac
tress Priyanka Karki and the producer Tanka Karki jointly unveiled the music CD. The movie features three songs including an item song. Miss Nepal 2011 Malina Joshi is also featured in one of the songs in the movie.
Nepali movie ‘Kollywood’ is going to be premiered in Doha, Qatar on January 11, 2013. The International Artist Forum(IAF) Qatar is organizing the premier show of the movie made on the story of struggle done by a typical newcomer actress in Nepali movie industry.
The movie will be featured in Doha Cinema Hall at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM. In the show, ‘Kollywood’ actors Priyanka Karki, Aryan Sigdel, and other team members will also be present during the show.
The censor board has issued a ‘PG’ certificate to the movie ‘3 Lovers’. The movie made on love story features some kiss scenes and bed scenes that are supposed to be not suitable for kids to watch alone. The director Suresh Darpan Pokhrel has told that he was surprised by the judgment of the censor board.
The movie being directed by Navaraj Acharya, ‘Kollywood’ is in it’s last stage of shooting. The movie named after the Nepali movie industry is made on the story of struggling artists in the industry.
