There was a rumour of affair between Priyanka and Dayahang Rai at the time of the shooting of the movie. It was only a rumour and they had always denied such a relationship. After Priyanka found Ayushma Desraj Joshi, they haven’t been seen together on-screen or off-screen.
Congratulation to Pooja Shrestha, a resident of Jhapa, for being the first Miss Nepal 2019 contestant from the Eastern Nepal by winning the Miss Purwanchal 2018 title at the program held almost at the end of the year 2018. It would have looked better if it were held after January 1 instead of December 30 so that the title would read Miss Purwanchal 2019 instead of 2018.

Another comment – Script is quiet good but we couldn’t get the right message. If I have my say, I am totally disappointed because of songs which were in Hindi. It could be better if they were in Nepali language. I am a fan of Saugat Malla but, this was one of his mistakes. . She should have been in leading role.

Nepali beauties are making a huge impacts in international beauty pageants this year. Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada made an impression in Miss World by winning two major titles – Multimedia Award and Beauty With a Purpose title. Now, another Miss Nepal, Manita Devkota, made it to Top 10 of Miss Universe 2018 beauty contest. That is the huge accomplishment for Nepal on her second participation in the contest. Last year, Nagma Shrestha debuted in Miss Universe contest by participating in the Miss Universe 2017 contest held in the United States.
It is rumoured that Miss Nepal 2017 is leaving her debut film after the completion of 30 percent shooting. The film was halted after the completion of one third shooting because of the lack of funds.
When the movie ‘Rani Mahal’ was announced in a press meet last year, the actress was Barsha Siwakoti and Prasant Tamrakar was also in leading role. But, right after the announcement both of them left the team. Later, Nikita was signed in the film right after the Miss Nepal 2018 was announced and she was relieved from the Miss Nepal duties.

The movie has been released in YouTube after 8 months of release in theatre. The love story film introduced Jassita Gurung in leading role, opposite to well known actor, Pradeep Khadka. Other artists in the film include Anoop Bikram Shah, Sabina Shrestha, Manish Shrestha etc.
The movie ‘Prasad’ was released last week. The movie was well received by the critics and viewers. It started with house-full business. The movie is made on a very realistic love story with effective artistic aspects of cinema.
The movies shows a true reflection of the society and the people. Very good acting lead actors and very good presentation by carefully integrating the events in the story.

This is a new film. But, there was another Nepali movie by the same name. The original film featured Saroj Khanal and Kristi Mainali in leading role. UPDATE: The Miss Universe 2018 representative of Nepal, Manita Devkota is not receiving the same level of love from her fellow countrymen like Miss World contestant Shrinkhala. That may be because there was on voting round in Miss Universe. But, she made it better in performance in the contest. With almost 100 contestants from all over the world, Manita managed to go up to Top 10. Although she didn’t made it to the crown, that was a pretty good performance given, this was Nepal’s second participation in the contest.
Although everybody expected Shrinkhala Khatiwada to win the crown, many were disappointed because she wasn’t selected in the Top 5. But, what she did was already a national record and it was also only one in the whole competition – two major titles to one contestant.
It was on April 11, 2018, Miss Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada was crowned the new Miss Nepal. Right after that, she started preparing for the Miss World competition. She did an awesome work to a Chepang community in her home district.
Right before Miss Nepal finale – Shrinkhala wrote – “Miss Nepal was not a coincidence for me. I have dreamed and visualized of myself being here for years now. I never told anyone because I was scared that people might not think I was worthy enough.”
Sunney Leone was paid Indian Rs. 2 crore- that is equivalent to 3.2 crore Nepali money.
The item dance was shot in London. The film makers have reportedly spetn Rs. 5 crore for the item song. The song is titled “Sunny Ho Naam Mero”. The choreographer of the song is Bishnu Deva a noted Indian choreographer.
For the shooting, Sunny Leone had brought her 7-member team to London.
The movie song is told to be the highest costing song in Nepali film industry. The director of the film is Samrat Basnet.
