Actress Priyanka Karki rushed to the USA to choreograph the contestants of Miss Bhutan US 2018 right after she got engaged to Ayushman Desraj Joshi. The preparation of the contestants for the finale was rushed and done in a hurry. So, the performance of the contestants wasn’t as good as expected.

Priyanka told in her instagram that the contestant number 8, Suchita Pradhan has won the title. The details of the runner-up is not available yet and the winners aren’t officially announced at the time of this writing. I will update this post as soon as the official announcement is done.
Two Nepali films are trending in Nepal today. The number one in the list is Nepali movie ‘Jhumkee’ featuring Dayahang Rai with ‘Kabaddi’ famed actress, Rishma Gurung. I have posted a separate post about the movie – Watch the movie in this post.

Nepali Film – Jhumkee Starring – Dayahang Rai, Rishma Gurung, Malina Joshi, Manoj RC etc. Director – Apil Bista
The movie is a presentation of Apil Bista Films. The script of the film is written by the writer of superhit films ‘Kabaddi’ and ‘Kabaddi’, the movie was expected to be similarly successful. But, it wasn’t as successful as expected. In YouTube, the film is getting a lot of viewers and is ranked the top in trending list. The movie was released on September 23, 2016 (read release news). The movie also features the lead actors of ‘Kabaddi’ and its sequel – Dayahang and Rishma Gurung. The director of the film is an well known film producer – Apil Bista had previously produced movies like ‘Dashdhunga’ and ‘Ritu’. He is also a graduate of film school.
Actress Priyanka Karki went to the USA right after the engagement. In fact, she has postponed the ticket to accommodate the engagement with her boyfriend, Ayushman Desraj Joshi.
Now, she is choreographing the contestants of Miss Bhutan USA 2018. While training the contestants, she had enjoyed some time at the swimming pool and shared some hot swim suit photos. Here are some of the photos she has shared in her Instagram post.

This is a new series in xnepali – the list of videos trending in YouTube on daily basis. It seems, I should decrease the frequency from daily to alternative days. That is because some video remain in trending for more than one day. So, in this third post in the series, most of the videos were featured in yesterday and the day before yesterday’s post. The movie titled Any Time Masti (ATM) had been one of the most controversial movies of all time. The vulgar dialogue and sex scenes had been highly criticized by everybody involved in the movie industry. The movie was banned by the government on the first day of release. Pre-release review of ‘ATM’ was posted previously. ‘ATM’ is the presentation of Dinesh Thapa under D Films banner.
Film is not available now. New artists got huge publicity
Although all the artists in the movie are new actors, they got a huge amount of publicity because of the popularity of the trailer. Dinesh Thapa, the lead actor of the film is also the writer and one of the producers. Three actresses in in the film – Jiya KC, Sabina Karki and Sonia Sharma quickly raised to fame because of chhada dialogues they delivered in the trailer. The backlash on the trailer was so huge that the producer later claimed that the trailer wasn’t the authorized copy. The film makers had to face a lot of hurdles in terms of the censoring and answering the questions raised by journalists.
The director of the film Yadav Silwal has previously directed movies like ‘Manav’, ‘Timi Jaha Bhaya Pani’, ‘Shikari’. None of Silwal’s previous movies were successful. Despite of huge amount of publicity, ‘ATM’ also failed to be successful in box office. That was because, the censor board banned the film in it’s first show. When the film was re-released with modification, the initial charm had already faded out. The actresses also couldn’t get over the image created by the film. These days, none of the artists of the film are active in the film industry.
Actress Priyanka Karki and actor and model Ayushman Desraj Joshi have engaged on Saturday July 14th, 2018 in a private function. The engagement ceremony was unannounced and a surprise event for all except their family members. The mother of Ayushman, Raveena Desraj Shrestha, was the first person to release the photos of the engagement in her Instagram and Facebook. Priyanka and Ayushman did the same by sharing the same photos in their Instagram accounts.

It has almost two months I have been talking about the ex-prince of Nepal, Dhirendra Shah. I started by talking about why he was the most unlucky prince in the Nepali Royal family. When I started making the video, I had no idea about Dhirendra. Except for a few rumours about his involvement in Namita – Sumita kanda and a little hint of his involvement in smuggling. When I heard about such rumours, all I knew was he was one of the family members of the Nepali royalty.
Why Dhirendra?
I was studying about the Royal Massacre of 2001 to write a book about the incident. Then I found out there were a lot of books on the subject. The book is still half-way and I am planning to complete the book next year. During the study I came across an article in ‘Himal’ magazine. The following photo (and, its caption) created a pity on Dhirendra.
This photo has every Royal family members except for Dhirendra. The prince was left alone in foreign land because of his affair with a foreigner. I decided to do a little research on the person. Deepa Shree Niraula is at least 15-17 years older than Namrata Shrestha. But, when acting is concerned, they both debuted in a same movie – ‘Sangini’. Actress Namrata Shrestha was featured as a child artist in that movie, the childhood version of actress Rupa Rana. She later grows up to romance with Saroj Khanal (by character played by Rupa Rana). Deepa Shree Niraula is featured as another leading actress, who also romances with actor Saroj Khanal.

When Namrata debuted in the triangular love story movie, she was in grade 1. As a child artist she has a short role but she has shown ample talent to be a successful actress. By comparison, the child, Namrata had preformed better than Deepa Shree at that time. That might be the reason Deepa Shree couldn’t become an actress. She failed to impress the film maker and decided to focus more on stage shows and comedy program in radio and TV. Popular Indian model, Poonam Pandey, is visiting Nepal to watch the World Cup Football with Nepali viewers in a club in Kathmandu. According to a video Poonam shared, she is visiting Kathmandu on June 15 to watch the World Cup final between Crotia and France at Club Deja Vu.
Poonam has told that she loves Nepali people and she has also promised to offer a surprise gift to Nepali viewers if the team she supports win the World Cup. There is no information about what the surprise gift might be.
