The priceless jewel was unveiled by the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in a special ceremony held at at Narayanhiti museum – the royal palace of the past. After monarchy was abolished in 2008, the Palace was converted into a museum. Right after then-king Gyanendra vacated the palace on June 11, 2008, the prime minister at that time, Girija Prasad Koirala had declared that the palace will be converted into a museum.

It’s not Lamborghini, DC Aventi spotted in Kathmandu

Recently a bright yellow sports car is making rounds in Kathmandu street. The car bearing a Nepali number plate costs 4 crores to buy. It is so surprising that the car costs about 60 lakhs Nepali rupees in Indian market. But, as soon as it enters Nepal, the government levies a huge tax on it making it unaffordable by most of us.

I talked about the car and the video went viral instantly.

Some thought it to be Italian luxury sports car, Lamborghini. But, the car is only inspired by the Italian car and it is no match to the Italian car. That is because, the inside is more like a normal car. It is only the outside that looks attractive, the engine and the parts are of very low quality for a sports car. The original model Lamborghini Aventador LP700-5 is much more attractive and impressive.

Is Namrata Shrestha cashing on the scandal ?

The scandal actress Namrata Shrestha went through about a decade ago – right after the release of her second movie, ‘Mero Euta Sathi Chha’, is going to be revived again this year. According to reports, a novel is being written about the scandal and Namrata Shrestha. The novel that is to be named yet is bing written by Sabin Priyadarshani, a journalist fro Dang.

The scandal of Namrata Shrestha caused a lot of pressure on Namrata Shrestha. She went into hiding and there was an extensive debate on what a person should do about their personal moments. Some debated that such moments shouldn’t be recorded as the digital world is unpredictable. Others debated that personal moments should be kept personal and nobody should have the right to publish it in public. The debate is still going and there is no final decision.

One thing is clear, such things are undesirable and should be protected. They shouldn’t be the topic of public scrutiny.

R.I.P. FAAN Chairman, Ram Kishor Bogati

Ram Kishor Bogati has died in an accident near home at Tikathali. Bogati was looking at the progress of cutting of some trees near the local temple when the accident happened. The tree fell and bumped on the electricity wire causing impact to the transmission poles. The broken poles bumped on Bogati killing him instantly. According to reports, Ram Kishor was pronounced dead when he was rushed to BNB Hospital.

According to reports, the incident is being investigated by the police before the last rituals on his body is held. Bogati is the father of two sons and two daughters. According to one of his neighbours, one of Bogati’s son in living in the USA and other in Nepal. One of Bogati’s daughter in living in Australia and another in Nepal. His family will make the final decision of his last rituals after his son and daughter return from foreign countries.

OMG, Pooja Sharma to slap a YouTuber

Nepali actress Pooja Sharma is known for her angry remarks on her Social media account from time to time. A latest angry remark of the actress is targeted to a YouTuber. She has told that she is pissed off by one of the cover arts’ of a video by a YouTuber.

Who is Pooja Sharma?

Pooja debuted in Nepali film industry in Sudarshan Thapa’s film ‘Mahasush’. The movie didn’t do well in theatre. But, she continued to act in Thapa’s film until ‘Prem Geet’ became a hit film. After that, she has been successful in all of her movies.

It is interesting that Sudarshan Thapa and Pooja are working together in all of their films and they tell that they are “just friends”. More details about the actress is given in the following video.

Luxury Cars of Kantipur Chief Kailash Sirohiya

Kailash Sirohiya Luxury Cars

The chief of Kantipur publication, Kailash Sirohiya is a family man with two sons and a wife. The publication publishes:

  • Kantipur, a Nepali daily
  • The Kathmandu Post an English daily
  • Saptahik, a weekly magazine for youth
  • Nepal, a weekly magazine
  • Nari, a monthly magazine for women

The interest on the car of the Kantipur Media Group Chairman Kailash Sirohiya was raised when an accident in Kathmandu was kept kept a secret by the police. The incident happened in the second week of December of 2015. The vehicle involved was a Volkswagen car, allegedly driven by one of the sons of Kailash Sirohiya, Sambhav Sirohiya. Sambhav was one of the three injured in the accident according to Republica news (read the news here).

The Volkswagen was going towards Thapathali when it went out of control and crashed into a lamp post and a pillar. Following is the photo of the vehicle that was upside-down after the accident.

Nirmala Panta case, official Government Report released after public demand

The full report of the case of Nirmala Case in Kanchanpur has been released by the government after much protest against the government all over the country. It is a sad truth that the government took such a long time to release the report of public inquiry.

The report points to a very serious shortcomings of the police officers. The police had been very bad in treating with the public and it seems the police was involved in the incident. The report hasn’t identified the culprit and it has recommended further investigation into the matter.

Earlier, actress Rekha Thapa had participated in the protest rally to pressurize the government to take action against the culprit. The case has gained so much publicity that the government and all the local bodies are under pressure to take action. In the desperate attempt the police had forced locals to falsely admit crime. The DNA test and other investigation has proved the police force forcing innocent to admit the crime.

Paramita RL Rana got engaged during her 25th birthday celebration

As her ex-boyfriend, Ayushman DS Joshi, celebrated the engagement with Priyanka Karki, Pramita RL Rana also got engaged with her current boyfriend – Hisi Losang.

Although Paramita prefers to say that it was only a gift from her boyfriend, Hisi Losang had brought a ring and helped her in wearing it on her finger. Watch the following video to see how Hisi offered a ring to Paramita. It is clear they wanted everybody to see the event.

Hisi and Paramita have been seeing each other after Paramita’s ex Ayushman started seeing Priyanka Karki. Ayushman and Priyanka had performed the engagement ceremony twice. Priyanka and Ayushman have named the couple “Ayanka” and their engagement ceremony was well announced and the guests were invited by distributing custom-made invitation card. Dashain message of Ashika Tamang – tearful for animals (and their families)

Actress Ashika Tamang – the actress of ‘Sushree’, the Nepali actress who lives in Germany, has sent a tearful message. In the message to go vegetarian in Dashain, Tamang has told that they have their families and who should be mindful for the pain we might cause to their families when we eat meat.

Although Ashika Tamang is very serious in her message delivery. She is full of tears and at one point she couldn’t speak because of the pain she is feeling – a lot of viewers of her message took her message with a grain of salt. Some even found it funny.

Priyanka Karki and Ayushman DS Joshi to be featured in Radha 2

In the sequel of Nepali movie ‘Radha’, actress Priyanka Karki and her boyfriend Ayushman DS Joshi have been confirmed. According to latest report the actors of ‘Katha Kathmandu’ have been signed in Yogesh Ghimire’s film ‘Radha 2’.

The upcoming movie is told to be a musical love story. As they are actually in love, the director has found the potential of them showing their real love in the screen. The director Ghimire told to an online, “I see a lot of musical sense in Ayushman for the role in the movie.”

In the fist sequel – ‘Radha’ Sanchita Luitel and Jiwan Luitel were featured in leading role. But, they both won’t be featured in the sequel of the film. The movie is scheduled to start shooting on Kartik 8.

Priyanka Karki asks you to stop “Body Shaming and Hating”

Priyanka wrote “So yeah! My ribs are protruding outside without any edits or photoshop!”

Priyanka is losing weight and she is showing off her effort. She says, when she gain weight, she won’t share her swimming pool photos. But, we should feel lucky when she starts to loose weight – these types of photos keep on coming.

The attached photos aren’t the only bikini clad photos of Priyanka. She had been constantly sharing such photos for the last few months. As the time nears the release of her first movie with her finance, Ayushman Desraj Joshi, ‘Katha Kathmandu’ she seem to be excited. While sharing the photo in Instagram Priyanka wrote, “It’s my body. When I don’t have a problem why should you. Take a chill pill guys.”

By the way, it is sad she has to write all these things just to share a photo.

Is Bollywood star Govinda’s wife, Sunita, a Nepali?

In the LG Cine Circle Film Award 2018, held in Kathmandu, Bollywood star Govinda was the main attraction. He was called ‘Jwai’ by the organizer and he also claimed, his first love “was a Nepali girl.” He told that his wife Sunita is a Nepali. But, is that true?

At the airport, when Govinda landed in Kathmandu, journalists asked Govinda if he knew Nepali. He told, he couldn’t speak it but he understands the language. Govinda was accompanied by his daughter Tina Ahuja (Narmada Ahuja). She told she knows Nepali a little. But, she was comfortable speaking in Hindi. I named her ‘Rastriya Bhanji’ and made a video report:

LG Award for the Flop Films and Flop actors

Bollywood actor Govinda was the main attraction, the Deputy President, Nanda Bahadur Pun, was the chief guest. The award ceremony was well organized. But, all the awards were distributed to flop films. The awards were distributed in such a manner that only the winners were invited in the program. Those who participated in the award ceremony were sure to get one of the awards.

Best Film – wasn’t best film at all
The best film of the year was ‘Timi Sanga’. That film was nowhere near best. People didn’t watch the film. It also got the Best Screenplay award too. It also got the Best Actor award. By the business the film did, it should have won the “Worst Film of the Year”.

Bhuwan KC and Sushmita had promised not to marry again, Bhuwan kept it, Sushmita broke it!

Although it is a personal choice of an individual whether to get married or not – we are still plagued with the male-dominated social feeling. When Bhuwan KC married the second time and is living with a third woman, it was considered a “normal”. The same thing by Sushmita is tagged ‘not-so-normal’ by the society.

After the divorce, Bhuwan KC and Sushmita KC had realized that the marriage-institution was ridiculous and promised not to marry again. That is the reason Bhuwan is delaying marrying Jiya KC. It seems, Jiya and Bhuwan have reached to an agreement to stay together without marrying.

In an interview last year, Sushmita had also told the same thing. But, there was a rumour of her marriage 4 years ago – with an Indian businessman (not sure if it was the same person she got engaged on September 9). It seems, Sushmita still wants the comfort of being married.

A report I made a while ago about Bhuwan KC’s “unmarried wife”. At that time, I was wondering why Bhuwan won’t even accept Jiya as his girlfriend. Now, it seems, he doesn’t want to give a name to the relationship.

Anmol’s mother, Sushmita KC marrying an Australian businessman

There was a popular song of the past by Kumar Basnet:

“Chori Bhandaa Aama Taruni, Lipsitck powder le…”

The songs says that the mother looks younger than her daughter by the use of makeup. According to the latest news, the song needs to be modified a little bit:

“Chora Bhandaa Aama Taruni…”

That is because, the mother of the superstar of the Nepali film industry, Anmol KC, is getting married. Sushmita got engaged to Fiji born, Australian businessman Killan Swami on September 9, 2018 in an event held in Singapore. They are going to get married on the Valentine Day of 2019.

More details on the marriage is yet to come. There was a rumour about the relationship with an Indian businessman in 2014. It seems, she has taken more than four years to formally accept the marriage proposal of her boyfriend.

At the time when Bhuwan KC is openly courting Jiya KC and are reportedly living together in Bhuwan’s home, Sushmita’s marriage makes sense.
