This is an unofficial sequel of superhit film ‘Prem Geet’ featuring the actress of and the director of the original film. The official sequel was named ‘Prem Geet 2’. Both of the sequels were successful in box office. The movie also won numerous awards. The movie was released on July 14, 2017 (release news). Although the name of the film is borrowed from a song in the movie ‘Prem Geet’, the characters in the movie are not named Prem and Geet (The characters of another movie ‘Prem Geet 2’ are named Prem and Geet). The lead character in the film is Paul (the real name) and the actress Pooja is named Saya in the movie.

About ‘Chunauti’
The second movie of Ranjit Movies, ‘Chunauti’ is a presentation of Durgadas Ranjit. The movie features the action by Sureendra Shah and Roshan Shrestha, choreography by Kamal Rai, music by Sambhujit Baskota, the chief assistant director is Pradeep Shrestha, the script and dialogue written by Brajesh Khanal, editing by Rajani Panta, cinematography by Raju Thapa, producer is Biju Ranit and assistant producer is Kalpana Sharma. The lyrics in the movie are written by Kiran Kharel, Dr. Bhola Rijal, and Dinesh Adhikari. Playback singers are Prakash Shrestha, Sukmit Gurung, Anand Karki, Kunti Moktan, Rama, Lochan Bhattarai, Rajesh Payal Rai, Bimala Rai, Amar Tandukar, Mamata Dipbim and Mela Baskota. Star Cast of ‘Chaunauti’
The movie ‘Chunauti’ was made in the time before Saroj Khanal went to the USA. Khanal was considered the actor with the most potential to be the next superstar in the film industry. After about two decades in the USA Khanal has returned back to Nepal a couple of years ago. He is also featured in some movies. But, his craze has already diminished these days. The loss of another lead actor Shree Krishna Shrestha, two years ago is a huge loss to the film industry. Actress Bipana Thapa had also left the film industry when she married an Indian national. After marrying she left the film industry and is living as a house wife in India.
The director Naresh Poudel was a well known director and film producer of his time. He had also teamed up with Chhabi Raj Ojha to produce some of the successful movies in the past. These days, Naresh Poudel is not active in the film industry.
The original ‘Janmabhumi’ was the third movie by Chhabi Raj Ojha (watch all the movies of Chhabi Raj Ojha) featuring his second wife Geetanjali. The director Mohan Niraula decided to make another movie by the same name after 20 years of directing the original movie. The social drama movie has patriotic theme. Originally the movie was scheduled to release in 2015 but, because of the earthquake of the year, the release was delayed.

Director Mohan Niraula debuted as a director in his movie ‘Janmabhumi’ some 20 years ago (click here to watch the original ‘Janmabhumi’) and now, he is releasing the movie by the same name on April 24, 2015 (Baisakh 11, 2072). The censor board has given the movie an ‘U’ certificate, suitable for all the audiences.
Like the original movie, the story of the new movie also helps in creating the sense of nationality to the youths. The director Nirula says that he has used all of his knowledge and experience in the movie to make it a great product. In addition to directing the film, he has also written the script of the movie.
The third movie by Yeti Production, ‘Milan’ is a presentation of Dr. Subodh Pyakurel. The story, script and dialogue of the movie is written by Brajesh Khanal, action by Rajendra Khadgi, choreography by Basanta Shrestha, Subodh Shreedhar, camera by Raju Bikram Thapa and music by Sambhujit Baskota.

The movie also features Chhabi’s wife of that time Geetanjali. The movie features the choreography of Kamal Rai, action of Rajendra Khadgi, music of Sambhujit Baskota and is made on the story of Chhabi Raj Ojha. The movie is the second move by Track Moviemakers banner and the presentation of Rajkumar Pokharel. Chhabi’s son Sakar Ojha is also featured as a child artist in the movie.

In a program held in Kathmandu the first look of a movie made on gambling ‘Gambler’ was released. The movie made by Yadav Gurung under YAAC banner is written and directed by Ramesh Budhathoki.
‘Gambler’ features Rajesh Hamal and Suman Singh in main roles. Other actors in the movie include Bina Budhathoki, Kalpana Shahi, Sonia KC, Mohan Nirula and others. Although the release date is yet to be announced, the movie was completed two years ago. Director Budhathoki told that the movie is made on the story of crime and social trouble caused by casino.
