Three new movies have broken the tradition of releasing the new movies on Friday and released on Thursday. The movies released on January 12, 2016 include Keki Adhikari’s movie ‘Love Sasha’, Nikhil Upreti’s movie ‘King’ and Saugat Malla’s movie ‘Shabda’. All three movies are widely expected movies by the Nepali movie fans.
A love story movie featuring actress Keki Adhikari, Ashif Shah and Karma Shakya is directed by Prachanda Man Shrestha. At the premier held on Tuesday, the movie had received positive feedback from the viewers. The movie is told to be a feel good and smooth love story.

The fourth sequel of the hit series ‘Nai Nabhannu La’, ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’ is scheduled to released o April 8, 2016. The movie is going to be released in Australia and the USA at that same date. Video report:
The movie ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’ is produced by US resident businessman Haribol Bhandari and Australian NRN Dinesh Pokharel in association with the director Bikash Acharya. The movie is set to release in 8 different cities in Australia.

The second biggest festival in Nepal after Dashain, Tihar has been wrapped up on Friday November 13. The last day of Tihar – Bhai Tika is celebrated by brothers and sisters to show their love and dedication to each other. The beauty of Bhai Tika is that people make new brothers and sisters during the festival. For example, Takme Budha (Wilson Bikram Rai) and Ashma DC and Sanyukta Puri, Jal Shah and Bikrant Basnet, Nisha Sunar and Suman Budha Magar, Naresh Bhattarai and Sapana Chamling Rai became new brothers/sisters this year.
Singer, journalist and actress Komal Oli made this year’s Bhai Tika memorable by presenting 2-litres petrol to each of her brothers. At the time of petrol-crisis in Nepal, that would certainly made the happiest brothers.
Comedy actress Palpasa Dangol, popularly known as Chamsuri has urine infection and was rushed to emergency room in Teaching Hospital right before Bhai Tika. As she had to be treated in the hospital, her brothers visited Dangol in hospital bed to take Bhai Tika. Palpasa has told that that was one of the most memorable Bhai Tika in her life.

In this movie the direcotor Muskan Dhakal has debuted as a full director. In previous movies, Muskan used to work as assistant to Bikash Acharya. During the shooting of this movie Bikash was mourning and didn’t want to direct the movie. Bikash has directed the next in the sequel ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’. The movie in in it’s post production phase now.

The record-breaking fourth sequel of ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ franchise, ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’ was inaugurated officially in a program held on Krishna Asthami in Kathmandu. The inauguration ceremony was held in Maitidevi temple. In the event, Bikash Acharya introduced the new actors in the sequel.
The movie to be made on a triangular love story will be directed by Bikash Acharya. In every sequel Bikash has introduced new artists. So far, all the releases have been very successful.

During the end-clap of the movie ‘Nai Na Bhannu La 3’, actress Sanchita Luitel has told that she is very happy to be the part of the Nepali film industry. Although it has already been four years since she had faced movie camera, she told, it feels like 4 days. Sanchita had also appeared in a music video on mother and danced in a program in Malaysia earlier this year.
In the last few years Sanchita got married to Nikhil Upreti and gave birth to two children. In the past some time Sanchita was preparing for the comeback by shedding weight and taking care of her appearance. In the movie, Sanchita is featured opposite to Suraj Singh Thakuri.

‘Nai Nabhannu La 3’ will repeat Anubhav Regmi as a lead actor. Sugyani Bhattarai will be featured in opposite to Anubhav. The director of the previous two movies, Bikash Acharya, is not going to direct the third sequel. Bikash’s assistant in the previous movie, Muskan Dhakal, is going to direct the new movie. The movie is produced by Bikash Acharya and Dinesh Pokharel.
Nepali movie ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’ has successfully completed 51 days in theater. In Nepali film industry, 51-days celebration is considered the first milestone of a successful movie. On the occasion the celebration was held at Bishnu Film Hall in Dang, Tulsipur was special.
To participate in the celebration, the director Bikash Acharya and child artist Anubhav Regmi had arrived in Dang. Hundreds of film viewers including local children were present at the theater to meet Anubhav and the team.
