Prakash Dahal Biography, wives and sons

Although the death of Prakash Dahal, the son of Prachanda ,is confirmed by different sources, it is not officially announced. Prachand’s long time associate, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has also confirmed the death and has sent his condolences through social media.

Why the delay in official announcement?

The hospital hasn’t officially announced the death of Prakash Dahal. But, everybody else including the family have confirmed the death. Prachanda has taken a helicopter to return back to Kathmandu from Jhapa where he was in the election campaign. The official announcement of the death is expected after Prachanda arrives at the hospital.

Why Prakash didn’t go with his father to Jhapa?

Prakash has been assisting his father in most of his works for a long time. He used to be with his father most of the time. On the day before his death, he was helping his father in election campaign in Chitwan. On Saturday, Prachanda had to go to Jhapa to address the mass meeting there. He had asked his son to go with him but, Prakash told that he wasn’t feeling well. He decided to go to Kathmandu to take rest instead.

Prachanda son Prakash Dahal has died

The only son of CPN Maoist (Center), Puspa Kamal Dahal, Prachanda, has died in the morning of November 18, 2017. Prakash was taken to hospital at around 5 in the morning. According to the hospital source he had died before he reached the hospital.

Prakash Dahal had been a controversial figure in the Nepali politics. Apart from being the son of one of the most influential person in the Nepali politics he was talked about for his personal relationships.

It is a sad incident and I wish the deceased soul rest in peace.

Prachanda is currently in Jhapa for the election campaign. He has reportedly returned back to Kathamndu as soon as he heard the news of his son’s demise.

UPDATE: Prakash had heart failure at 5:38 and he was admitted to Norvic Hospital at 6:00 AM. Although he was brought at hospital at 5:45 AM, the initial investigation show that the first stroke happened at 1 AM.

In the report, the mother Sita Dahal also has health problems. A team of doctors is treating Sita Dahal in their residence at Lazimpat. While the father Prachanda is arriving from Biratnagar, Prakash’s wife Bina Magar is arriving from Kanchanpur.

A huge crowd has gathered at the hospital. Maoist leaders including Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ and Giriraj Mani Pokharel have reached the hospital. A big force of police is also providing security at the hospital.

Bollywood’s got a new actress, Miss World 2017 is Miss India, Manushi Chhillar

What do Miss World 1994, Miss World 1997, Miss World 1999 and Miss World 2000 have in common?

One common thing is, they all are Indian and another, they all are Bollywood actresses.

  • Aishwarya Rai was Miss World 1994 (very successful Bollywood actress)
  • Diana Hayden was Miss World 1997 (a Bollywood actress)
  • Yukta Mookhey was Miss World 1999 (a Bollywood actress)
  • Priyanka Chopra was Miss World 2000 (very successful Bollywood actress)

The only Miss World from India, Reita Faria, Miss World 1966, pursued her career as a medical doctor and didn’t choose acting as her career. It is a coincidence that the new Miss World, who is also an Indian, Manushi Chhillar is also studying to be a medical doctor.

Will Manushi Chhillar also be an actress in Bollywood – time will surely tell. Chhillar was crowned the Miss World in the event held in China on November 18, 2017 by Miss World 2016, Stephanie Del Valle, of Puerto Rico.

The first Runner-Up is Miss Mexico, Andrea Meza and the second runner up is from England, Stephanie Hill. Other two in the Top 5 position were Miss France, Aurore Kichenin and Miss Kenya, Magline Jeruto.

Interesting, Rajesh Hamal craze in India

Craze of Nepali actor, Rajesh Hamal was also seen in a program held in Chandigarh, India. Hamal had completed his Master’s Degree in English literature in the Punjab University located in Chandigarh. He had spent a lot of time in India when he went there with his parents as a child. He had started his schooling in New Delhi when his father was a diplomat there. He later went to Pakistan and Russia before returning to India to complete his studies.

Miss World 2017, How close is Nikita Chandak to the crown?

UPDATE : It is a sad news. Nikita couldn’t make it to Top 15.

It is Miss World 2017 Coronation Night Tonight, on November 18, 2017. Our Miss Nepal World, Nikita Chandak, is the first Miss Nepal to reach that close to the crown because, in addition to being one of the Top 40 in the contest, she has also been successful in being:

  • Winner of Head to Head challenge
  • Top 8 in Multimedia Contest
  • Top 10 in People’s Choice Award (Winner is yet to be announced)
  • Top 20 in Beauty With a Purpose
  • Top 30 in Top Model

The coronation night of the 67th edition of Miss World is being held at Sanya City Arena in China on November 18. The Miss World will be chosen from the pool of 118 contestants from all over the world.

Friday Release – Jhyanakuti of Nisha Adhikari, ft. Benisha and Saugat Malla

Actress Nisha Adhikari’s debut movie as a produce, ‘Jhayanakuti’ was the solo release on November 17, 2017. The movie team had done a press show a day before the release. The viewers had given positive response to the quality of the movie.

The movie was previously scheduled to release on August 24. But, when the producer, Nisha decided to get married all of a sudden in June, the release date was delayed by three months.

The movie directed by Simosh Sunuwar is made on the story of Pradeep Bhardwoj. The movie features Saugat Malla with Benisha Hamal in leading roles. Other artists in the movie include Sumi Moktan, Astal Gurung etc.

About ‘Loot 2’

The sequel of super hit movie ‘Loot’ was also well received and the movie made a huge impact by its item song ‘Thamel Bazar’. Although the sequel wasn’t as successful as the original, people have liked it. A few days ago the movie was leaked in Facebook and now it is made available by the producers. Produced under Princess Movies and Black Horse Pictures Production, and A Popcorn Pictures banner, ‘Loot 2’ is directed by Nischal Basnet, the director of the original movie. In addition to Saugat Malla, Karma, Dayahang Rai, Reecha Sharma the movie also features Bipin Karki, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Srijana Subba, Sushil Raj Pandey, Rratik Raj Neupaney, Sushil Uprety and Alisha Rai.

Chhakka Panja 2 celebrates 51 days in theatre

The sequel of ‘Chhakka Panja’ has also been successful although, it hasn’t been able to beat the earnings of the first part. The film team has celebrated 51-days-in-theater in Kathmandu. The movie released on Ashoj 11 has completed 51 days on Kartik 30.

The movie produced by Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula is directed by Deepa. The movie is running in some theatres in Kathmandu. The 51-days celebration party was held at City Centre. Comedy actor Hari Bansha Acharya cut the cake to congratulate the production team. Currently the whole team is working in MaHa’s upcoming movie ‘Shatru Gate’.

The writer and producer, Deepak Raj Giri, admitted that there were some mistake. But, he was happy that people have liked the movie despite of the mistakes. He promised to produce more successful movies in the future. The director, Deepa Shree Niraula, also promised to improve her shortcomings in future projects.

The movie was a super hit movie of its time. The movie had also celebrated 51-days in theatre.

RIP Dipen Shah, 19-years-old dwarf artist dies

Shortest artist in Nepal, Dipen Shah, has died on November 16, 2017 at the age of 19. He was admitted to the hospital after he had fever. According to the family sources, both of his kidneys had failed and he had also problem in his heart.

Born in 2055 in Bhimeshwor Municipality in Dolkha, Dipen had acted in a number of television serials. ‘Jhayaikuti Jhayai’ and ‘Chheu Na Tuppo’ were two of his most popular serials. In addition to TV serials, he had also acted Nepali movies. After debuting in ‘Sarathi’ he had also acted in ‘Joker’.

Be like Alia Bhatt, says Asmi Srestha to Niti Shah. Can Niti be like Alia?

Miss Nepal International 2017, Niti Shah, made a huge blunder in Japan when she talked about the education of women in Nepal. She showed how unprepared she was in representing the country in an international arena. But, making mistake is human and, it is the way we learn a lot of things. That is what Niti is being told to do.

I am talking about the suggestion of Miss Nepal 2016, Asmi Shrestha. Asmi wrote a long message to Niti Shah and reminded her about Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt. iPhone on birthday, Hari Bamsha Acharya celebrated 60th birthday

“I still feel like 16 although I have turned 60.” told Hari Bamsha Acharya as he cut his 60th birthday cake at the shooting location of his upcoming movie ‘Shatru Gate’.

In the birthday celebration organized by Radio Aduio on Monday, November 13, 2017, Hari Bansha cut his birthday cake with his partner Madan Krishna Shrestha. His wife Ramila Pathak and son Mohit Bamsha Acharya were also with him at that time. On the birthday, Ramila presented Hari Bamsha with a sweater and the son Mohit gave an iPhone.

In the event comedy actors Basundhara Bhusal, Sitaram Kattel, Kedar Ghimire, Shiva Hari Poudel, Kiran KC and director Pradeep Bhattarai were also present.

Himani to Samragyee, belly piercing, a new fashion sensation

When the wind blew the saree ex-princess Himani was wearing, an unexpected sighting in her belly caught the eyes of a cameraman – belly piercing. Otherwise a soft spoken, simple and beautiful ex-princess’s fashion sense was something new to the people. Some made fun of her, some appreciated her fashion sense, and others tried to remain indifferent as it was her personal choice. I wrote about the incident in 2010. In 2016, the new sensation of the Nepali film industry, another royal blood, actress Samragyee showed off her pierced bellybutton in photoshots and public. The beautiful actress was working in her second project ‘A Mero Hajur 2’. After the success of both of her movies released so far, Samragyee is the highest paid and most loved actress in the film industry.

Apart from Samragyee, other Nepali actresses have also pierced their bellies. Actress Sushma Karki is one of them. She had shown her pierced bellybutton in one of her birthdays, in 2014. Sushma raised in fame after the success of her item dance in ‘Loot’. After that, she worked in a number of movies as an actress. (Photo attached)

Nikita Chandak supports Niti, Niti Shah responds, Malina Joshi says “forget it!”

I wrote about the blunder Niti Shah made and how it is creating a backlash in my previous post. Miss Nepal 2017, Nikita Chandak, has written a post in support of Niti and asked everybody not to go after her because, she thinks, Niti did mistake like every human does. Here is the full status of Nikita:

Last time I had posted on wishing Niti luck for her coronation night.
The morning of November 14th when I woke up, I found so much of hate comments for her that she doesn’t deserve and so did I delete the post.

She is a human being like all of us. Mistakes happen and sometimes the days just aren’t in your favor. Sometimes you just can’t express your thoughts in a way that everyone else is looking for.

So, I request all of you to please understand. She has always been loved by all of you and love is what everyone deserves, motivation and positivity is what everyone deserves. So, let’s spread love, let’s spread positivity, let’s support, empower and encourage each other.

Niti Shah blunder

The answer of Miss Nepal International 2017, Niti Shah, to one of the questions in the contest has created a lot of out-roar among Nepali people. In the answer she has told that there are two categories of Nepali women – one the urban women and the second the rural women. While urban women have better education and have better parents, the rural women are the disadvantaged group of people. She also told that most of the rural women are sold to foreign countries for prostitution.
