2073 of Samragyee RL Shah, No movies only headlines

The actress Samragyee RL Shah was one of the most talked about actress of the year 2073. By the way she was covered in the media, it seems she was given more importance than she really deserves because:

  • No movies of Samragyee were released in the whole year, 2073. Although she signed in ‘A Mero Hajur 2’ and ‘Timi Sanga’, no trailer or music videos of the movies were released until the end of the year.
  • The movie, released previous year, in 2072, ‘Dreams’ was the debut movie of Samragyee and, her second movie is yet to release.
  • Samragyee wasn’t even active in the film industry or the entertainment industry before signing in her first movie, ‘Dreams’. Although Samragyee did some modeling assignments after participating and becoming the third in Classic Diamond contest, 2014, she is not much active in modelling.

Then why did she became so popular the whole year?

Let me analyze some of the facts that made her popular:

High price

After the success of ‘Dreams’, Samragyee took no time in hiking her price. Before the release of the movie, she had verbally agreed to do the movie ‘Summer Love’. But, when the movie became a hit, she reportedly demanded Rs. 5 lakhs to do the movie. That is the price unheard of from an actress in the Nepali movie industry, let alone from a new actress. After that, the ‘Summer Love’ team decided to search for another actress. They even search for a Nepali actress in Australia. But, at last, they found Rewati Chhetri – an Indian actress of Nepali origin. Rewati was one of the contestants of Miss India 2015.

Love affair

On the 21st birthday, Samragyee shared photos with Mayank Khadka. The photos showing her in close embrace with Khadka was the topic of discussion in media. Khadka reportedly went to Pokhara to meet Samragyee at the shooting location of ‘A Mero Hajur 2’. Samragyee however denied love affair and told that Mayank was her good friend . Bhuwan KC embraces Jiya KC in a Holi 2017 photo (Full history of affair)

A new revelation in the relationship between actress Jiya KC and Bhuwan KC – Bhuwan is seen embracing Jiya in a Holi 2017 photo. In the photo shared by Jiya KC, it is quite apparent that the couple had applied Holi colours in privacy to each other, before participating in the group celebration.

Analysis of the holi colours on Bhuwan KC and Jiya KC:

Bhuwan has neatly applied purple colour on Jiya KC’s nose and cheek. Red and green colours are applied on her forehead. Jiya has applied red colour on Bhuwan’s forehead and nose, purple on his left cheek and on his nose, green on his right cheek and nose. They have neatly and strategically applied the colours on each other. Jiya has taken much care to apply it in symmetry where as, colour on Jiya seem to have been applied in a little rough manner. They booth look happy. May be because of photo filter, Bhuwan KC looks very young to his actual age of more than 50 years.

2017 Artists of the Month

Starting the year 2017, I have decided to feature the artist of the month. For the whole month I will be focused on one particular artist while preparing videos, news and movies.

To choose which artist to feature for the month, I am going to post a poll in Twitter. For the month of January I have posted a poll in Twitter with four options:

At the time of this writing, Rajesh Hamal is leading. Most probably Rajesh Hamal is going to be the artist of the month of January 2016. Did Bhuwan KC marry Jiya KC secretly ?

It seems, Bhuwan KC has already married actress Jiya KC. By the way, Jiya was posing in a photo between Bhuwan’s mother and father with Bhuwan KC and Anmol KC by the side, it seems she was a part of the family.

Bhuwan KC and Jiya KC love story

The rumour of the affair between Bhuwan KC and Jiya KC started in 2012.

In 2012 there were reports of:

  • Bhuwan KC visiting ‘ATM’ shooting sets to meet Jiya.
  • They were also spotted together in restaurants.
  • In one interview, Jiya had also admitted going to Bhuwan KC’s home and staying there for a night.
  • Jiya had told that she would love to marry Bhuwan KC.
  • But, both of them had told that they were only friends and they didn’t have an affair (and they continued to say that till now).

In a rare public appearance, Nepali actor Anmol KC was seen during the inauguration of Being Human Nepal store at Labim Mall. In the program Anmol KC was seen in a new looks as he has grown his hair long. Currently busy in the pre-production of his next movie ‘Kri’, he is reportedly taking dance and fight training.

Sushmita KC TV program producer threat, Ma Ta Timrai Hoon controversy (Update)

This is video report update on the post I made a while ago. Watch the following video for the details of the case. The threat might be directed to Prakash Subedi as he is the producer of the TV program. (I have also added the video of the program in question – 35th episode of Rajatpat, at the end of this post.)

In a Facebook post, actress and the producer or recent release movie, Sushmta KC has threatened a filmy-program in TV, Rajatpat. She had expressed her dissatisfaction about the report about her movie ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hun’ aired in the program. In the report aired in the TV show, her debut production movie was a failure and it didn’t do good business.

In response, Sushmita had turned very aggressive towards the Kantipur TV program. Sushmita had registered Anmol Creation banner, a name after her son Anmol KC, to produce the movie. Although a star actor himself, Anmol wasn’t featured in the movie. The movie had featured new actors with Sushmita herself. The TV report stated that the movie was a flop. But, Sushmita claims that it had done satisfactory business. Attached below is a screeshot of the post by Sushmita.

Anmol KC to romance with Aditi Budhathoki in Kri, new actress in every movies of Anmol

A model, Aditi Budhathoki, is selected to be featured opposite to Anmol KC in his upcoming movie ‘Kri’. With the selection of a new actress in the movie, Anmol KC has worked with a new entry actress in every movies he has been featured so far. Anmol is a rare actor in the Nepali movie industry, all of whose movies have been successful, so far.

Friday Release – Ma Ta Timrai Hoon

The debut movie of actress Sushmita KC as a producer, ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hoon’ is the sole release this week on theatre. After divorcing Bhuwan KC Sushmita KC has registered a film production company named Anmol Creations. The first movie made in the banner named after the hit actor Anmol KC has released in theatre on July 22, 2016.

Although made under the banner named after Anmol KC, the movie doesn’t feature the actor himself. It features Aakash Shrestha, Jyotsna Yogi, Sushmita KC, Jiwan Bhattarai, Susan Khadka, Anupam Shrestha, Sushil Kafle etc. In a press event held recently, Anmol told that he wasn’t considered while writing the story of the movie. He told, Aakash Shrestha fits more to the character than himself. Aakash and Jyotsna are debuting in the film industry through this movie.  Continue reading

Anmol KC explains why he is not featured in Ma Ta Timrai Hoon

A press meet was organized in Kathmandu to inform about this week’s released ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hoon’, a movie by actress Sushmita KC under the banner of her son, Anmol KC. Although Anmol KC is named the producer of the movie, his is not features as an actor in the movie. In the program, Anmol KC explained why he is not featured in the movie.

Anmol told that the story was written without considering him as the actor. That was the reason he was not featured in the movie. In addition to that, Anmol told that the company Anmol Creations’ goal is to introduce new actors in the Nepali film industry.

Friday release, Gajalu

This week, on June 10, 2016, one of the most awaited movies, ‘Gajalu’ has released in theater. The movie directed Hemraj BC features Miss Nepal 2012, Shristi Shrestha, Anmol KC, Salon Basnet, Gaurav Pahadi, Menuka Paradhan in leading roles. The movie produced by Rohit Basnet is made on the story of the living goddess ‘Kumari’ tradition in Nepal.

Shristi Shrestha is featured as an ex-Kumari in the movie. The premier show of the movie was held in Kathmandu on Thursday. The lead actor Anmol KC didn’t attend the UK premier show of the movie but was present in the Nepal premier show with his father Bhuwan KC.  Continue reading

Gajalu Premier show held in Shristi Shrestha hometown, London, Anmol KC didn’t attend

The premier show of upcoming movie ‘Gajalu’  was held in London on May 29, 2016. In the event, actress Shristi Shrestha and the producer Rohit Adhikari were present. Actor Anmol KC and the director Hemraj BC were also scheduled to attend the world premier show, but they didn’t. It is surprising why Anmol KC returned back to Nepal a few days before the premier show. The film maker’s don’t have a palatable answer to the reason Anmol returned back to Nepal.

The movie, ‘Gajalu’ is scheduled to release on June 10, 2016. The movie directed by Hemraj BC – the director of two of the previous hit movies of Anmol KC – ‘Hostel’ and ‘Jerryy’ a well known director in the Nepali movie industry. In additition to Shristi and Anmol KC other main actors in the movie are Salon Basnet and Gaurav Pahadi.

Gajalu trailer released, an interesting love story concept

The next movie of actor Anmol KC, ‘Gajalu’ is also the debut movie of actress Shristi Shrestha, the Miss Nepal 2012. The trailer of the movie was released in a program held in Kathmandu on April 14, 2014.

It is interesting that the ex-Miss Nepal is featured as an ex-Kumari, the living goddess. Kumari is an ancient tradition in Kathmandu valley, that selects a young girl to be kept as a living goddess until her puberty. After puberty, a Kumari retires and another young girl is selected to live in Kumari ghar as the next living goddess, Kumari. In ‘Gajalu’, Shristi is features as an ex-Kumari. It is a societal belief that, Kumaris shouldn’t marry throughout their lives.

Anmol KC birthday, Gajalu first look and Ma Ta Timrai Hoon release date announced

The first look poster of the fourth movie of Anmol KC, ‘Gajalu’ was released on his 22nd birthday, on March 29, 2016. On the same day, the release date of the movie produced by his mother under Anmol KC Films, was also announced. The movie titled ‘Ma Timrai Hoon’ will be released on July 22, 2016.

The fourth movie of Anmol KC as the leading actor, ‘Gajalu’ was announced last year. Now, the producers have told that there might be a change in the date.
