Audio of ‘Kollywood’ released, again

In a press meet held in Kathmandu, the audio of upcoming movie ‘Kollywood’ was released on December 30, 2012. The music was previously unveiled in a program held in Qatar, and the second release of the CD is believed to be nothing more than a publicity stunt.

In the audio release program Ashok Sharma was the chief guest. The director Navaraj Acharya, actors Aryan Sigdel, ac
tress Priyanka Karki and the producer Tanka Karki jointly unveiled the music CD. The movie features three songs including an item song. Miss Nepal 2011 Malina Joshi is also featured in one of the songs in the movie.

'So Simple' to release on October 19

To take advantage of Dashain festival, the Shiva Regmi movie, ‘So Simple’ is going to be released on October 19, 2012. Dashain holidays start on the same day.

Dashain being the largest festival having the longest holiday in Nepal, every movie try their effort to release in that time. We can expect more movies to release on the date.

'Naina Resham' and 'Bhaihalchha Ni' releasing on April 27

This week, two Nepali movies are releasing. A movie made by the director MS Agraj, "Bhai Halchha Ni" is releasing all over Nepal and director RBK Sharad’s "Naina Resham" are going to be released in Kathmandu theaters.

Bhaihalchha Ni is a new release by Colours Movies and Entertainment. The movie featuring Suman Singh, Garima Pant, Sonia KC, Bishal Pokharel,
Sunil Thapa etc. in leading roles featured Govind Acharya’s music.

"Naina Resham" was previously screened in theaters out of Kathamndu and features Nisha Adhikari and Biraj Bhatt in leading role. This was the debut movie of Nisha Adhikari. The movie features music of Basanta Sapkota and was produced by Ajit Jung Rayamajhi.

Silsila got it’s turn in Kathmandu after 3 years

A movie released out of Kathmandu some three years ago has finally got it’s turn to be screened in Kathmandu.

Last time I was surprised to see the movie,Chodi Gaya Paap Lagla taking  2 years to reach Kathmandu theaters. Silsila broke the record!
