About ‘Aanshu’

The movie is a presentation of Jyoti Movie Makers by Somkrishna Bhattarai. Nepali film ‘Aansu’ features well known film director Narayan Puri as the assistant director. The editing of the film is done by Rabindra Pandey, action by the well known action director Rajendra Khadgi, and the choreography by Kamal Rai. The story of the movie is written by well known actor Anup Baral, dialogue are written by Keshav Dahal and the music is composed by Samir Thapa. Well known cinematographer Gauri Shankar Dhuju has done the camera work, and the script is written by the director Somnath Bhattarai himself.

Samragyee looks hot in traditional Nepali dance of A Mero Hajur 2

The second music video of the awaited movie ‘A Mero Hajur 2’ has been released. The first song was popular because of the beautiful sceneries and the second is being popular for the traditional Nepali attire.

The song tireld ‘Kinideuna Saila …’ featuring Samragyee R L Shah is composed in a traditional Nepali folk style music. The song featues the lyrics and music of Basanta Sapkota and the voice of Sadhana Sargam. The choreography of the dance is done by Kabiraj Gahatraj.

The song has received positive response from the viewers for the music and the costume of the actress. The actress Samragyee is popular for he beauty and acting skill in her debut movie ‘Dreams’. She has been very popular and successful after the debut movie although the only movie released so far is the debut movie. In coming days, three of Samragyee’s movies are releasing in a short time. ‘A Mero Hajur’ and ‘Timi Sanga’ feature Samragyee in leading role. Another movie, ‘Mangalam’ features Samragyee in a guest role.

About ‘A Mero Hajur 2’

The sequel of ‘A Mero Hajur’ – a superhit movie featuring actress Jharana Thapa opposite to late Shree Krishna Shrestha is directed by Jharana. The lead actress is Samratyee RL Shah with Salin Man Baniya and Salon Basnet. The movie is made on the story of a popular astrologer, Harihar Adhikari. The screenplay and dialogue are jointly written by Harihar Adhikari and Samipya Timilsina. Cinematographer is Sanjay Lama. Music in the movie are composed by Basanta Sapkota and Kalyan Singh. Action by Roshan Shrestha, background score by Sailesh Shrestha, choreography by Renasha Rai and Kabiraj Gahatraj.

About ‘Maun’

The movie ‘Maun’ is made on a realistic characters seen in the society. It is a story of the love of two deaf and mute characters – Aman, played by Arpan Thapa, and Barsha, played by Namrata Shrestha. Namrata started experimenting with being featured as a disabl character in ‘Maun’ and it got to a new height in ‘Classic’. The new movie ‘Classic’ became one of the best movies of the year 2016, winning every awards of Best Actress for Namrata. This movie is a must see for those who like the new movie.

The story of love between hearing impaired Aman and Barsha is interesting as the story unfolds of Aman’s dark past. While Aman engulf’s himself smoking, Barsha is a free-spirited girl who is believes in achieving something meaningful in her life despite of her disability. For the preperation of this movie, Namrata also had gone through a training on sign language – the mode of communication between the deaf people. We had done a full review of Maun in 2013. In an interview with us, the director Suraj Bhusal told that the movie is ‘a simple love story’.

Prem Geet 2 and Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu songs, compared (Audio Jukebox)

All the songs of two musical love story movies ‘Prem Geet 2’ and ‘Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu’ have been released. Both being the sequels of musical love story movie ‘Prem Geet’, it is interesting to see which one will prove victorious.

Songs of Prem Geet 2

There are four songs in this sequel. The romantic drama is releasing on Shrawan 13. The title song of the movie is composed by Kalyan Singh. Rohit John Chhetri and Shreya Sotang have given voice to the song. The song got an immediate attention and was trending for some time in Nepal.

The second song is an item song/club song titled ‘Motorcycle ma ..’ featuring Aslesha Thakuri, Swastima Khadka and Pradeep Khadka is composed by Alish Karki. The song features the voice of Indira Joshi and Pratap Das. The music video of the song is liked by the viewers in YouTube.

The third sentimental song is recorded in the voice of Sagar Sansar Rai. The last song Bistarai Bistarai is a love song with nice music and tunes.

Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu songs

I had already discussed about the three songs in this version of the sequel of ‘Prem Geet’. The first song in the collection is ‘Bhanchhu Aaja’ – the song featuring Paul Shah and Pooja Sharma. The song got an immediate positive response by the viewers. The song features Arjun Pokharel’s music has the lyrics of Sudarshan Thapa. The song features the voices of Sugam Pokharel and Anju Panta.

The second song is a sentimental song titled ‘Kaha Chha Ra’ featuring Anju Panta and Pramod Kharel’s voices again. The lyrics of the song is written by Diggaj Dhoraali.

Hamro Highschool, Bgirl Sky Aashma Bishwokarma debuts as an actress

A new web series is being released online titled ‘Hamro High school’. The series is about high school teenagers, their lives and the issues. The series is being directed by a music video director Nitin Chand.

One of the main attraction of the web series is Bgirl Sky (Ashma Bishwokarma), one of the members of the popular dance group, The cartoonz Crews. Previously Ashma Bishwokarma had talked about her interest in acting and now she is being featured as an egoistic girl in ‘Hamro High School’. A video report:

In the announcement ceremony held in Kathmandu, the production team also announced URstyle Icon. Model and actor Paul Shah, actress Aanchal Sharma, actress Barsha Raut, Mariska Pokharel and Swastima Khadka were honoured at the progrem. In the event models Alisha Rai, Amir Sekh, Amrit Dhungana, and Prajwal Sujal Giri were also honoured.

Variety of boyfriends of Manisha Koirala

The Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, Manisha Koirala, was one of the top actress of 1990s in Bollywood. She debuted in a 1991 release movie ‘Saudagar’. That was also the debut of the long list of affairs of Manisha. I had listed the listed the names of 11 boyfriends of Manisha in 2010. She married the last one – Samrat Dahal. Like her affairs, Manisha’s marriage also ended in a short time. Within 6 months, she started telling that the relationship is not going well with her husband. In 2012 they divorced.

Right after the divorce, by the end of 2013, Manisha was diagnosed of ovarian cancer. It took almost a year to treat and get well. Now, she is well and is ready to resume her acting career. Manisha’s upcoming movie ‘Dear Maya’ is going to release on June 2, 2017. After the release, Manisha is planning to go on a vacation towards the mountain.

Dhanapati trailer, Pashupati Prasad team brings high hopes

The trailer of a new Nepali movie ‘Dhanapati’, produced by the team that produced superhit movie ‘Pashupati Prasad’, was recently released. The movie featuring Khagendra Lamichhane in leading role features Surakshya Panta in his opposite. Directed by Dipendra K Khanal, the movie is likely to recreate the magic of the previous movie. The trailer of the movie features Khagendra and Surakshya living a poor and a simple life with their daughter. The struggle and the entry of Khagendra in politics seems to be the plot of the story.

About ‘Dhanapati’

The movie is produced by Rojjina Situla with Om Gurung as the co-producer. The movie is based on Khagendra Lamichhane’s story and script. Releasing On Ashar 23 (July 7, 2017) the movie features Khagendra Lamichhane, Surkashya Panta, Manish Niraula and others. The director Dipendra K Khanal was assisted by Rajesh Situla and Ashim Khanal. Action by Surya Thokar, music by Aadha Sur and background score by Shailendra Shrestha. The editor is Dirgha Khadka, cinematography by the director Dipendra K Khanal himself.

Friday Release – Parva and Hitlar

Two new Nepali movies have released on May 26, 2017, in theatre in Nepal – Namrata Shrestha starrer ‘Parva’ and Sohit Manandhar movie ‘Hitler’. It is an interesting clash between two movies.

Nepali film ‘Parva’

The movie movie by Dinesh Raut, ‘Parva’ is considered one of the most awaited movie because of the popularity of one of its song – ‘Kale Dai Kale Dai …’. The song has received more than 11 million views in YouTube at the time of this writing. The movie also features actress Namrata Shrestha – the undisputed top actress of 2016. Dinesh Raut, the director of superhit film ‘Classic’ has directed the movie. Some viewers might be scared to watch the movie because of the blood, violence and thrills. The movie also received positive reviews from the viewers of the premier show held on May 25, 2017.

Parva features Koshish Chhetri and Namrata Shrestha in leading role. The movie is the debut movie of another actress Jebika Karki. In the item song ‘Kale Dai ..’ Mala Limbu and Nischal Basnet are featured. The movie is produced jointly by TV Filmy and Subash Entertainment – produced by Subash Giri and Nikita Poudel. The movie is made on a story about an incident that occurred in a festival (Parva).

Chandani Sharma, the Stupid Girl actress, got married

Do you remember the ‘Stupid Girl’ debut actress, Chandani Sharma? Chandani was featured in the ‘Timro Aankhama Aanshu Heri …’ song of the movie (attached at the end of the post). A resident of Australia, Chandani, is also featured in a new movie ‘Lamfu’.

Chandani has found a model and businessman, Ajaya Pokharel (Ajju) to get married. Feature in a lot of music video and featured as a model in a lot of fashion shows, Zaau, is also a celebrity in his own way. Although in the similar field, the marriage between Chandani and Azzu is an arranged married, set by their families.

Priyanka Chopra Nepali film, Pahuna, also made on Maoist war story

The poster of the Nepali movie by Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, was released recently. The movie titled ‘Pahuna’ is produced under the initiation of Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra to produce various movies in the regional languages of India. Earlier, actress Jenisha KC had told that she will be featured in the leading role in the movie. But, the first look poster of the movie doesn’t feature the actress.

The movie is told to be made on the story of kids separated from their parents at the time of Maoist war in Nepal. In the movie, they are fleeing from Nepal to Sikkim and the poster also features three kids living on their own. The poster:

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra had told that she couldn’t be present in the press meets of the movie but, she is very happy to be the producer of the first feature movie of Sikkim. The movie is being made jointly by Priyanka Chopra and her mother Madhu Chopra under Purple Pebble Pictures. She told, “Thank you to the government of Sikkim that has given our small, beautiful movie ‘Pahuna’ such a big support,” Priyanka added, “Its Sikkim’s first feature film. And, I am very very honoured to be the producer tying up with the Government of Sikkim to bring you that.”

About ‘Chino’

The movie was made for Om Trinetra production by Bishnu Gopal Shrestha. The super hit movie of its time, ‘Chino’ was one of the best movies of Shiva Shrestha and Bhuwan KC. The songs featuring the voice of Narayan Gopal were also the major attraction of the movie. ‘Mohani Lagla Hai … ‘ is the all-time favourite song of Narayan Gopal. The director Tulsi Ghimire has written and edited the movie. The leading actresses in the movie, Kristi Mainali and Sharmila Malla have also done a great job. The movie is written by the director Tulsi Ghimire. Ghimire was also the editor and one of the actors in teh movie.

Ruby Rana beauty secret

Although crowned more than two decades ago, the first Miss Nepal is still fit and beautiful. She has maintained her body and looks for more than two decades. Maintaining the looks is not an easy task. Being a beautician has helped Ruby in doing it right.

In the morning – right after waking up she drinks lukewarm lemon water. Then her regular yoga workout starts. In addition to yoga she also exercises everyday. The type of exercise however are not consistent. She does jumba, aerobics and gym workout at home.

  • In breakfast Ruby eats cornflakes, cucumber and watermelon.
  • In lunch she eats roti, daal and cooked vegetables. (bread, dal and tarkari)
  • In the evening she only drinks soup.
  • She has also become a vegetarian these days. That is because she likes drinking when she eats meat. As alcohol is not good for the health and beauty, she tries to keep herself away from alcohol.
  • Ruby also drinks 14-15 glases of water in a day.

Sandhya KC also shows off her underwear

Journalist and actress Sandhya KC is being featured in a leading role in her upcoming movie ‘Kamaleko Bihe’. The actress who debuted in super hit film ‘Dreams’. But, Sandhya was featured in a short role in the movie so, the movie couldn’t do any magic to attract the viewers towards her.

Miss Nepal 2017 show their talents

In most of the beauty contest, one of the most popular medium of showing of their talents are either dancing or sining. In the talent show of the Miss Nepal 2017 contestants, they used variety of medium to show their talents. The Miss Nepal Talent Show was held on May 22, 2017 in Kathmandu. The talent show started with a dance performance.

Contestant number 1 Swastik Silwal of Lalitpur danced on the one of the most popular songs of the current time – ‘Kale Dai …’ of upcoming movie ‘Parwa’.
