The comedy actor in Nepali film industry Narayan Tripathi is featured in a lot of Nepali movies and TV program. He had stopped appearing in movies after he went to the USA to live there permanently. Two models Ramita Bhandari and Sabu Shah were arrested on charges of trafficking young girls promising lucrative jobs in Singapore. After a complaint lodged by a Singapore return, Anita Nakarmi, the police has arrested the model-duo from Imadol. Anita accused them of trafficking several girls including herself in bars in Singapore. Ramita and Sabu were planning to go to Singapore on Saturday, August 14.

Nepal government is mulling over blocking sex related websites in an effort to reduce Nepali traffic on those sites.
Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) is working is preparing to censor websites through internet service providers (ISP) and telecom operators providing GPRS facility in Nepal.
NTA has been coordinating with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology and Cyber Cell of the Nepal Police and the preparation on the implementation is expected to be finalized within a week.
