Director Prasanna Poudel has got married recently. The ex-husband of well known actress and model Simpal Khanal was single after they divorced a long time ago. Simpal Khanal married a UK resident, Nadeem Sewar. She has given birth to a daughter and is living with her husband in UK.
Two years after Simpal got married, Prasanna also found Shristi Khatiwada of Sarlahi to get married. According to reports, the marriage ceremony was held on Baisakh 4 at Ram Mandir of Kathmandu. The marriage ceremony was organized according to Hindu tradition.
Prasanna Poudel is a well known music video director. He debuted as a feature film director by directing ‘Swor’. He had also directed ‘Mero Best Friend’. The next project of Poudel, ‘Kamaleko Bihe’ is yet to release.
I wish Prasanna Poudel and Shristi Khatiwada a very happy married life and wish them all the best for a good future.
After a number of Miss Nepal trying their luck in the Nepali film industry, another Miss Nepal, Nikita Chandak, is debuting in an upcoming movie.
The movie is titled ‘Rani Mahal’. Earlier, actress Barsha Siwakoti was selected to be featured in the film. But, after Barsha left the film, Nikita has got the opportunity in the film. The announcement has come within a week of the selection of the new Miss Nepal.
According to the agreement with Hidden Treasure, the organizer of the Miss Nepal contest, the contest winners are not allowed to work in any projects that are not approved by the organizer. Nikita is freed from the agreement as soon as the new Miss Nepal is selected. In the event held on April 11, 2018, new Miss Nepal, Shrinkhala Khatiwoda was elected the new Miss Nepal. After that, Nikita has been set free from the exclusivity agreement with the Hidden Treasure.

First Miss Nepal Ruby Rana, Sumi Khadka, Jharana Bajracharya, Malvika Subba, Jenisha Moktan, Malina Joshi tried their luck in acting, None of these beauties were successful. Miss Nepal 2011 Shristi Shrestha’s debut movie, ‘Gajalu’ was successful. The movie featured Anmol KC and his presence in the film helped Shristi in her acting career. The movie however wasn’t as successful as expected. But, one of the songs of the film, ‘Kale Dai’ was one of the most successful songs of the year.

A production of Cinema Art in association with Maotse Gurung Films, this movie is about the relationship between two brothers. A social drama movie is about the lives of two brothers who own a boat. The movie by well known director Ram Babu Gurung was relatively less successful when compared to his previous movies ‘Kabaddi’ and ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’. One of the songs of the film ‘Nira Jahile Risaune’ was very popular.
The Miss Nepal 2018, Shrinkhala Khatiwada is a smooth speaker. Apart from being an architect, she is a poet and a writer. She is in control when she speaks. It can be clearly seen in the following interview video of the beauty with brain.

To mark the end of the Nepali year 2074, and start of the New Year, 2075 let me list the top 10 songs of the year.
Miss Nepal 2011, actress, Malina Joshi has found a new boyfriend. The actress who debuted in the film industry in ‘Ritu’ has yet to give a successful film. But, she has acted in a number of films by well known producers.
Initially she was in affair with actor Anoop Bikram Shahi. They were quite public about the affair until thing went bad in their relationship. Anoop was so into the relationship that he had also inked Malin’s name on his wrist.
When they worked together in ‘Leela’ in 2016, the relationship between the two was expected to be renewed. (Watch ‘Leela’ here) It seems, they got away further as Malina has found a new soul mate. The new boyfriend of Malina is the actor debuting in her upcoming movie ‘Rani’, Shahrukh Tamrakar.
Malina has been sharing photos of herself with Shaharukh in her Instagram. She has stated him has her love.
Although Malina has been sharing intimate photos of them together, she is yet to admit the relationship publicly. May be they will unveil the relationship in one of the press events of the movie.

Who is Malina Joshi?
Malina represented Nepal in Miss World 2011 held in London, UK, on 4 November 2011. She performed a Nepalese folk dance in the final day of the competition. She was also on the top-30 for Beauty with a Purpose title, a major award at Miss World.
Malina was born on 27 January 1989, in Dharan. She did her secondary education from Dharan Higher Secondary School. She has received a MBA degree with specialization in Marketing from Ace Institute of Management.
Malina was also one of the top five finalists in Miss Angel 2010 contest. Although she failed to win top titles, she did win the Miss Intellect title award.
IN 2013, Malina also participated in Miss Asia Pacific held in Seoul, Korea. In the competition, Malina was one of the 15 semi-finalists in the pageant.
Bollywood star Salman Khan’s tour, Da-Bangg The Tour, was re-scheduled from March 10 amidst protest of a Maoist group – the Biplav- Maoist faction. At that time, the group had threatened the concert organizers. They had accused the organizers of promoting Indian artists instead of Nepali artists. Now, it is not clear how their accusation became nullified. But, the event is re-scheduled for May 26, 2018.
Recently Salman Khan was arrested in India for the crime he committed some 20 years ago. After living in the jail for two days, he was released in bail on Saturday.
According to the letter from Indian organizer, JA Events LLP, the event will be held on May 26, 2018. The artists who will participate in the event include Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Sanon, Prabhudeva, Daisy Shah, Meet Bros, Manish Paul and dancers. Continue reading
Nepali Movie – Brakefail Starring – Rajesh Hamal, Richa Ghimire, Bimlesh Adhikari, Ashmita Kandel etc. Director – Shankar Ghimire
This Nepali movie is a presentation of actress Richa Ghimire made under her own home production. In addition, the director, Shankar Ghimire, is also her husband. Shankar and Richa had teamed up to produce another movie titled ‘Tulasi’. The movie is yet to release in Nepal. Shankar and Richa couple have gone to the US in the name of showing the movie there.
UPDATE: The fake husband of Archana Paenru is arrested by Nepal police. Wolf Price, a US citizen was found to be doing illegal works in Nepal and was arrested. The police is going to keep him locked up and gather details of the things he did in his stay in Nepal. The police has reportedly found links between Price and Archana Paneru.

This week on Friday, April 5, 2018, two new movies are released in theatre. The third film of Samragyee RL Shah, ‘Timi Sanga’ is released in single theatres and multiplexes. Another new release is ‘Heros’, a film by the actress of the film, Purnima Lama. Actress Karishma Manandhar is also featured in ‘Heros’.
About ‘Timi Sanga’
The movie by Shishir Rana is made on a triangular love story. The movie featuring Samragyee RL Shah, Akash Shrestha and Najir Hussain is produced and directed by actor Shishir Rana. Shishir is also featured in a role in the movie.
The movie shot in beautiful locations in Pokhara, Ghandruk, Annupurna Base Camp and Kathmandu features beautiful sceneries. Two songs of the film released earlier had also received positive feedback. While going to participate in Gulmi Mahotsav, singer Rajesh Payal Rai met with an accident. The vehicle carrying Rajesh Payal Rai had crashed with a Taxi on the road. Eight people had sustained injuries and nobody was critically hurt.
In a Facebook status Rajesh Payal had confirmed the accident. He told that he is safe and will continue his program in Gulmi Mahotsav.
