The second sequel of superhit comedy movie by Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula, ‘Chhakka Panja’ was also successful. The movie features similar cast and similar story to the previous movie. The script is written by Deepak and the movie is directed by Deepa like the previous movie. The movie received a record breaking viewership on the day of its release. The movie was initially told not to be released in YouTube at all. The movie is released right before the release of their next movie ‘Chha Maya Chhapakai’ in theatre.

Barsha Raut troll and Namrata Shrestha and Priyanka Karki conflicting responses

Two actresses have totally different approach on the troll that has been going on in the internet.

A usually sober actress, Barsha Raut, appeared in a revealing cloth in the premier of her film ‘Jatrai Jatra’ in Sydney, Australia. That is in contrast of the perception that Barsha doesn’t prefer showing off her body. When the trolls start to surface, Barsha’s husband responded by telling that he was supportive of Barsha (video temporarily removed).

Then came Priyanka Karki. The actress often being trolled herself also supported Barsha and wasn’t happy for those taking the issue negatively. Priyanka Karki in her Instagram post wrote: For all the peopel sying the dress is too ‘low cut’ she should have worn something sober … the dress is too ‘revealing’, you shouldn’t have done that for publicity …
NO! You (the ones saying the most demeaning and disrespectful stufd about a woman. YES YOU!) Actually you’re too ‘judgmental’ and you need to STOP THAT SHIT! NOW!”

Barsha Raut weds Sanjog Koirala, media banned (Photos)

The marriage ceremony between actress Barsha Raut and Sanjog Koirala was held at Hotel Raddison. The event was held among close friends and families. No media was allowed to record the wedding. Only the official photographers and videographers were allowed to record the event.

Barsha’s biography:

Previously, actress Nisha Adhikari had done similar wedding. No media was allowed in the marriage ceremony either.

Prior to the marriage, the new couple were preparing for the big day on Valentine Day. On Feb 12, they performed the engagement ceremony. The event was also a private function with close friends and family members.

On February 13, there was a Mehandi ceremony amongst Barsha’s close friends. Present in the ceremony was actress Priyanka Karki.

Barsha Raut marrying on the Valentine Day

The ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’ debut actress Barsha Raut has announced her marriage with her long-time boyfriend Sanjog Koirala on the Valentine Day of 2019. The announcement was unexpected although they were together for more than 5 years and everybody knew they were going to get married. The announcement was made a month prior to actual marriage day. It is a coincidence that, the day is also believed to be a good day for marriage according to the ancient Hindu belief (Shubha Sait for marriage).

Barsha Raut’s boyfriend, Sanjog Koirala is also an actor. He has acted in movies like ‘Utsav’ and ‘Chhakka Panja 2’. But, Koirala is not as popular as Raut in the film industry. Sanjog is also a businessman running his own business.

Barsha Raut VS Barsha Siwakoti

Two Barsha of Nepali film industry – Barsha Raut and Barsha Siwakoti are two competitors of the Nepali film industry. According to reports, the they are not at ease at the personal level either. The rumors are based on the reports that Barsha Raut is doing the films rejected by Siwakoti.

Barsha Siwakoti is known for being selective in choosing her films. The movie released last year – ‘Mero Paisa Khoi’ went through a lot of controversies. One of them was the distance between two Barsha. Siwakoti left the film right after Raut entered the team. Siwakoti was told to be afraid of being in the shadow of Raut.

Right after Siwakoti left ‘Gopi’, Raut was signed in the film. Siwakoti told that she didn’t like the script and her role. In the other hand, Raut claimed that she was attracted by the script and her role in the film.

Siwakoti says that she has nothing against Raut. Raut says the same. But, the rumours are not dying.

Another US Return actress Kabita Manandhar, debuts in Shiva Shrestha moive

Actor Shiva Shrestha has debuted as a producer of a movie. The movie titled ‘Yeuta Yesto Prem Kahani’ is going to introduce two celebrity children in the Nepali film industry. Actress Kabita Manandhar is the daughter of actress Karishma Manandhar and actor Shakti Shrestha is the son of Shiva Shrestha.

Shiva Shrestha organized a press meet to release the trailer of his debut movie and announce the debut of the two new artists in the movie. Talking at the event, Shiva Shrestha told that his son, Shakti Shrestha, had always wanted to be an actor. He had also acted in a film as a child artist. Shiva told him to wait for the right time. In the mean time, Shakti went to Australia and studied there. He was working when Shiva decided that it was the right time to introduce his son in the film industry. Shakti told that it was a surprise to himself when his father proposed him to act in the movie.

The movie ‘Yeuta Yesto Prem Kahani’ is full of well known artists. There is a possibility that the new actors get lost in the crowd of well known artists.

Barsha Raut and Barsha Siwakoti both left Nai Nabhannu La 5 because of Swastima Khadka

Two Barsha – Barsha Siwakoti and Barsha Raut left ‘Nai Nabhannu La 5’ because of the roles they were offered in the movie. The reasons of the rejection of the movie by the two actresses is said to be because of their roles relative to Swastima Khadka. Swastima is featured in the leading role and the roles of the two actresses were that of characters that were older than Swastima.

Why did Barsha Raut left ‘Nai Nabhannu La 5’?

Barsha being fat, was offered the role of an elder sister of Swastima Khadka. But, as they are of similar age, Barsha didn’t want to be tagged as an older woman when compared to Swastima. That was the reason Barsha said she rejected the role. Watch the following video report:

Why was Barsha Raut honoured by the Film Artist Association of Nepal (FAAN)?

The Film Artists Association of Nepal (FAAN) has honoured some artists and journalists in the Nepali film industry in its 15th annual general meeting held on March 13, 2017. Although the prime minister Puspa Kamal Dahal, Prachanda was supposed to be the the chief guest of the event, he couldn’t make it and a minister distributed the award instead.

On the annual general meeting of the Film Artists Association of Nepal (FIA) actress Barsha Raut was given a honorary certificate for her contribution to the Nepali film industry. In the certificate she is praised for lively acting and establishing herself as a good actress in the industry in a short time. The certificate titled “Nepal Chalachitra Kalakar Sangh New Artist Certificate of Encouragement – 2073” was awarded to Barsha on Falgun 30, 2017.

Barsha Raut, Poojana, Rajani, Subin Limbu to catwalk in first ever Nepali fashion show in UAE

That is after the organization of Nepali music award and film award there. The fashion show is being organized by Cheparo.com. Barsha Raut turns 23, boyfriend gifted a MacBook

One of the few actresses who has been lucky to be featured in three hit movies in the start of her acting career, Barsha Raut, has turned 23 on December 14, 2016. To celebrate her birthday, Barsha went to one of the theatres in Kathmandu and celebrated with the viewers of her movie ‘Jatra’. The movie marks the hat trick in giving hit movies right after entering the Nepali movie industry. Barsha’s earlier two movies ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’ and ‘Chhakka Panja’ both were successful commercially.
