Sumina Ghimire gave birth to her daughter in December 25, 2015. Sumina Ghimire had gone into hiding after marrying, so it took me nine months to know about her childbirth. (photo and a video report is attached.)
Simpal Khanal is also expecting a new child soon. Although Simpal had also gone into hiding after marrying a UK resident guy, she had shared the photo of her big belly recently. (a video report is attached – read more about Simpal’s pregnancy here)
Sumi Khadka is another actress who is pregnant now. Sumi had announced the pregancy on September 26, 2016. Khadka, a former Miss Nepal, was also an actress in a number of movies. Sumi had married Chiran Basnyat in 2015. (A photo is attached.)

Two new Nepali movies are released on this Friday, February 13, 2015. The movies released to take advantage of the Valentine Day crowd on Feb 14, ‘One Way’ and ‘Suntali’ both are the awaited movies. Both the movies look promising but, we need to wait a while to know which of the films appeals the love birds.
Here are the details of each of the films:
The movie featuring Siddhartha Gurung, Mala Subba, Karishma Manandhar, Rabin Tamang, Wilson Bikram Rai and others is a gangster themed film. The movie got positive reviews on the premier show held on Wednesday. The movie directed by Suraj Subba ‘Nalbo’ is shot by three cameras. The film by RC Pictures banner is a story of new generation and old generation and night life in Kathmandu.
49-years-old actress Bipana Basnet, popularly known as the duplicate of CPN (Maoist) leader Hisila Yemi is going to participate in a beauty contest, Mrs. Nepal 2014. In contest among the married women aged 28 to 55 years-old, Bipana is preparing for the audition to be held on January 4.
Dashain is the biggest festival in Nepal. The festival is known for meeting family members, eating, playing and enjoying.
A lot of Nepali are working in foreign land and they can’t go back home in the festival, so some Nepali artists have gone to the foreign lands to make the foreign bound Nepali at home. Those celebrities had sacrificed their own festive needs for the entertainment of other fellow Nepali living abroad.

Nepali movie industry is largely influenced by Indian movie industry, Bollywood. Similar to Bollywood, it is easier for the kids of actors and film technicians to enter the film industry. Some of the names of second generation artists in Nepali industry include:
Samyam Puri – son of director Narayan Puri started in movies as a child artists and had debuted as an adult actor in ‘Samaya’.
Salon Basnet – son of actor and director Shovit Basnet is also debuting in ‘Hostel’.
Sunil Rawal’s upcoming movie ‘Hostel’ is officially started on February 8, 2013. After a year-long workshop the movie has finally started in a formal ceremony held in Kamaladi Ganesh temple. The movie will feature a lot of second generation film artists – sons and daughters of well known artists and crew members of Nepali movie industry.
