Did Rekha Thapa and Sudarshan Gautam break up?

It seems, actress Rekha Thapa‘s affair with her ‘Himmatwali’ introduction actor Sudarshan Gautam is over. It had been a long time since Rekha and Sudarshan had been using Facebook to express their feelings. For the last few weeks, they had been silent. When we checked the Facebook profile of Sudarshan, Rekha has stopped liking Sudarshan’s posts and commenting since February 18.

In addition to the absence of comments and likes, Rekha Thapa is no longer in Sudarshan’s friend-list and vice versa. According to Sudarshan’s Facebook page, he is living in Vancouver, Canada. A person without hands, Sudarshan had been previously married. He is world renowned for climbing Mt. Everest and doing day-to-day things with his feet.

The comedy presents top comedy actors including Dari Baa (Surbir), Chamsuri (Palpasa), Suntali (Kunjana), Bhok Lagyo (Deviram), Nirmali, Balaram (Kamal Gaunle), Kukhure (Raju Giri), Ghoda (Shyam) and other artists. The script of the comedy is written by Shivam Adhikari, cinematography by Bishnu Chalise, editing by Jiwan Tandan. Sumina Ghimire marries her pilot boyfriend

Nepali actress Sumina Ghimire has married a pilot boyfriend, Rosha Sapkota in a program held in Kathmandu. In a not-so-publicized event, very few film industry personalities were invited and the event was kept within the friends and family circle. Well ahead of the marriage, there were rumors of the upcoming marriage but, no dates and details were revealed.

Sumina reportedly is retiring from the film industry. She had stopped signing any new films after the decision of marriage was made. Sumina’s movie ‘Bhimdatta’ was released on Friday. Sumina’s role and acting has been highly appreciated in the movie. Sumina’s next movie ‘Mala’ is going to release after a while.

Shah Rukh Khan arrives in Kathmandu

UPDATE: Although there was a press meet organized at the event, journalists were only allowed to ask two questions. In the meet, he remembered his last visit of Nepal, some 15/16 years ago. Previously Shah Rukh had planned to visit Nepal on Sunday, but because of the Turkish Airlines accident, his visit was delayed a day and he arrived on Monday. Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan, has arrived in Kathmandu on March 9, 2015 at around 3:30 PM. Khan flew in his private jet to attend an event by Kansai Paints at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Khan is planning to return back to India after the event.

The tweet of Shah Rukh about his arrival in Kathmandu had received thousands of re-tweets.

Janmabhumi to Janmabhumi, 20 years journey of Mohan Niraula

Director Mohan Niraula debuted as a director in his movie ‘Janmabhumi’ some 20 years ago (click here to watch the original ‘Janmabhumi’) and now, he is releasing the movie by the same name on April 24, 2015 (Baisakh 11, 2072). The censor board has given the movie an ‘U’ certificate, suitable for all the audiences.

Like the original movie, the story of the new movie also helps in creating the sense of nationality to the youths. The director Nirula says that he has used all of his knowledge and experience in the movie to make it a great product. In addition to directing the film, he has also written the script of the movie.

Biraj Bhatt and Reema BK in Pune

Garima Pant to be a Scout

A new movie titled ‘Scout’ is going to feature actress Garima Pant in leading role. In a program organized in Kathmandu, the cast and crew of the movie was announced. The shooting was also inaugurated the Communication Minister, Minendra Rijal and other politicians.

‘Scout’ is a presentation of Madhu Kumar Shrestha and is produced jointly by Kedar Parajuli and Ishwor Tiwari. The movie is directed by Govinda Gautam and features Garima Pant with Kushal Thapa in leading role.

The singers in the musical are Jaya Devkota, Kiranbabu Pun, Pratikshya Malla, Sonam Magar, Bipana Thapa and Puspa Bohara.

Cast explanation: Lokmani Gautam a grade 10 is featured as Chandraprasad, the husband. The wife, Tara is also a grade 10 student – Sunita Sharma. Kanchi, the sister of Chandraprasad, Ronisha Khadka, is a grade 7 student.Â A village friend of Chandraprasad, Eliza, is also a grade 7 student, Khima Khadka. Eliza’s brother, Rato, a dumb person in the musical is Grade 10 student Dilip Khadka. Tara’s mother and Tara’s father are Grade 10 student Prema Khadka and Grade 9 student Asal Oli respectively. These are the students of Bal Kalyan High School, Solawang, Rukum.

The accident of Turkish Airlines in Tribhuvan International Airport caused extensive delay in the flight in and out of Kathmandu. The delay not only caused problems to come to Nepal and going abroad, various programs out of country had to be delayed because the artists couldn’t fly on the scheduled date.

The comedy and musical program scheduled for March 7, Tito Satya Meri Bassai Sanjh had to be delayed to March 19 as the artists couldn’t take the flight to Australia in time. The program will feature Kedar Ghimire, Wilson Bikram Rai, Deepa Shree Niraula, Deepak Raj Giri, Aastha Raut and Parbati Rai. (read a previous report on the event in serialsansar)

The journalist Rishi Dhamala is no less than a comedian. Now, he is going to be a real actor in Malvika Subba movie ‘How Funny’. In a press release by the film maker, the film is going to release on Jestha 15.

Friday Release – Bhhimdatta, Zhigrana and Punarjanma

This Friday, three more Nepali movies are being released in theater. A historical bio-pic ‘Bhhimdutta’, a suspense thriller ‘Zhigrana’ and a social drama film ‘Punarjanma’ are releasing in theaters all over Nepal. All three movies are considered movies with potential.

The movies are targeted to different audiences. ‘Bhimdatta’ is targeted to audience interested in political issues and historical events. The movie got an ‘UA’ certificate. ‘Zhigrana’ got an ‘A’ certificate and is targeted to the viewers interested in suspense and thriller in movies. ‘Punarjanma’ is suitable for all types of audience with an ‘U’ certificate. The movie appeals to the viewers who like family drama.

A red carpet primer of the movie to release on Friday, ‘Zhigrana’ was held in Kumari theater on March 5. Journalists, film artists and businessmen were present in the premier show.

Suspense thriller ‘Zhigrana’ is the debut movie of the director Pasang Lama. The censor board has awarded an ‘A’ certificate, suitable for adults over 16 years of age. The film makers had expressed their dissatisfaction on the Board’s decision by releasing the scene removed by the Board in YouTube.

A comedy drama titled ‘Sushri’ was announced in a program held on March 4. The movie written and directed by Shivam Adhikari will feature Asika Tamang and Aryan Sigdel in leading roles.

The shooting of ‘Sushri’ is scheduled to start on this Friday, on March 6. The movie is felame oriented and is being produced by Atmaram Thapa. The music is composed by Basanta Sapkota and cinematographer is Rameshowr Karki. The movie is a presentation fo Ashika Films.
