‘Juneli’ is a Nepali Documentary Drama, based on a real story on epilepsy. The film is produced by Nepal Epilepsy Association (NEA) and made on the concept of Dr. Hemav Rajbhandari. Purushottam Pradhan is the cinematographer and the director Sagar Lamichhane is also the writer of the docudrama.
Epilepsy (Chhare Rog) is a chronic disease manifested as multiple seizure attacks resulting from excessive electrical discharges in the neurons of brain. The excessive discharge or excitation may remain in a small area of the brain. The film is a very heart touching and educative film and it also contain English sub-title for those who don’t understand Nepali language.

Gopi Krishna Movies announced a new movie titled ‘Homework’ featuring actors like Namrata Shrestha, Aryan Sigdel, and Bijaya Lama. The movie to be directed by Nirak Poudel, the son of Gopi Krishna Movies owner Uddav Poudyal, will feature Aryan Sigdel in a new looks – an aged man.
A press meet was organized on Tuesday, December 16, to announce the movie. In the event five more movies to be produced by the company were also announced. ‘Homework’ will be the first of them to go on floor. In the movie, Purushottam Pradhan will be the cinematographer, Chandra Pant will direct the action, choreography will be done by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Taraprakash Limbu will compose the music. The lyrics of the movie are written by Krishnahari Baral and story by Shivam Adhikari.
Actress Namrata Shrestha announced the release date of her debut movie has a producer ‘Soul Sister’ in a press meet organized on Monday. The press meet was special as her ex-lover was seen the the event and it is believed that the love affair has resumed after one year of break up. Namrata announced the release date of her production, ‘Soul Sister’ on the December 15 event. The movie is scheduled to release on January 16, 2015 (Magh 2).

The widely published program, Ncell Purple Fest, featuring Indian popular comedian Kapil Sharma was canceled at the last minute. Kapil showed up in Kathmandu with two of his assistant comedian – Dadi (Ali Asgar) and Raju. It is reported that although they couldn’t perform in the show, they have claimed the full pay from the organizers.
After arriving in Kathmandu, Kapil conducted a press meet and returned back to India. He told that he was very unhappy on the cancellation of the show and told that he will return back to Kathmandu in future event.
