Sweta Khadka writes a tragic poem in remembrance of Shree Krishna Shrestha

On the 45 days of the death of actor Shree Krishna Shrestha, his wife actress Sweta Khadka has written a tragic poem. Sweta had shared the untitled poem in her Facebook page.

In the poem Sweta has stated that she has been crying for the last 45 days and has been living with pain in her heart. She has wished the soul of Shree Krishna an eternal peace. In earlier statements, Sweta had told that she won’t be able to forget Shree Krishna and that she won’t be happy again. The poem (attached below) tries to state the same thing.

Shree Krishna Shrestha cremated after state honor

State honor was offered to late Shree Krishna Shrestha before cremating at Pashupati. The body of Shree was covered in the national flag of Nepal and a team of Nepal Police offered salute to the actor.

The representative of Nepal Government, communication minister Minendra Rijal covered the body of Shree Krishna by the National flag of Nepal before Shree’s brother ignited the body.

The body of Shree Krishna Shrestha arriving on Monday, procession route details (update)

UPDATE: Film Development Board of Nepal has released a press statement detailing the full program (attached at the end of the post). According to the letter, the body will arrive at 1 PM and it will be kept at Pragya Bhawan till 5:30 PM before taking it to Arya Ghat.

The body of actor Shree Krishna Shrestha is arriving in Kathmandu at 2 PM on August 11, 2014. The government is planning a honor ceremony and a procession from the airport to Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi. He will be kept there for three hours before taking to Arya Ghat, Pashupati for the cremation at around 5 PM. The prime minister Sushil Koirala is also scheduled to offer the last good bye to Shree.

In another report, Shree Krishna had reportedly told Sweta and his elder brother Min Krishna not to take his dead body back to Nepal. He didn’t want to give pain to his 82-years-old mother and his fans by showing his dead body. But, his family and friends have decided to bring him home so that his fans and family can say the last good bye.

Bone cancer killed Shree Krishna Shrestha

In a latest report, Shree Krishna Shrestha is told to have died of bone cancer. According to the director Aakash Adhikari, Shree Krishna died at 11:00 PM on Saturday August 9, 2014 in Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. The news of the death was only announced at around 5 AM on Sunday.

Soon after the marriage of Shree Krishna and Sweta Khadka on Ashad 23 (July 7) they left for honeymoon. Initially, Shree was suffering from dry cough. He didn’t look that healthy and had lost some weight at the time of the marriage. In hospital he was diagnosed with deep pneumonia. Bone cancer is reportedly diagnosed a week before the death.

Shree Krishna Shrestha died in New Delhi

While being treated in New Delhi, actor Shree Krishna Shrestha had died on August 9, 2014. Shree Krishna had married Sweta Khadka a month ago (on July 7) and they were told to be on a honeymoon tour to India.

Because of the serious illness, Sweta and Shree Krishna couldn’t participate in the promotion of their movie ‘Kohinoor’. In a press meet held last month, the director of the movie, Aakash Adhikari had almost cried while talking about the actor. In a message sent from the hospital bed, Shree Krishna had told that he will be back soon. The movie ‘Kohinoor’ was released on this Friday.

Manju Mahat funeral held (photos)

The funeral of the late folk singer and model Manju Mahat was held at Pashupati , Aryaghat on March 31, 2014. The President of the Constitution Assembly, Subash Chandra Nembang, also attended the funeral ceremony. Manju died on Saturday after serious injuries in a scooter accident on Thursday at Galkopakha, Thamel.

The family of deceased singer had a tussle with the vehicle owner and vehicle entrepreneurs association on the compensation after the loss of the singer. After the amount of compensation amount was agreed upon, the body of the singer was kept at the Academy hall for the last farewell.

Rest in Peace Manju Mahat, the folk singer couldn’t be saved

The folk singer Manju Mahat couldn’t be saved after the deadly accident, in spite of the efforts of the doctors involved in the treatment. The death of the singer has raised the concern of traffic safety and speed control Nepal. The place where the accident happened is one of the busiest parts in the capital.

Manju was 23 years old at the time of her death. Manju is married and has a 1.5-years-old child.

Make up artist Sambha D Patil dies

One of the most popular make up artist, Sambha D Patil (Sambhu Chhetri) had died on February 22, 2014. Sambha was admitted to Bir Hospital after he had problem in his intestines. He died at 9:30 PM local time on Sunday.

Sambha debuted in Nepali movies in BS 2040 in ‘Basudev’. While shooting the movie, the mother of the makeup artist died and couldn’t work in the movie. Sambha got the responsibility of the makeup of the Nir Shah‘s debut movie as a director. Sambha’s debuted as a full makeup artist in ‘Kusume Rumal‘ and after that, he worked in more than 350 movies.

RIP Yash Chopra

The legendary producer, director and script writer of Hindi movies, Yash Chopra has died on Sunday in Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. The death was a shocking news as he had recently celebrated his 80th birthday in full vigor. He was diagnosed with Dengue and was admitted to the hospital on October 13, 2012.

Yash is considered one of the most successful filmmaker in Bollywood. He had won six National Film Awards, eleven Filmfare awards, Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001 and Padma Bhushan Award in 2005. Although he had worked as assistant director previously, he debuted as a director in 1959 with a
Hindi movie ‘Dhool Ka Phool’. The movie was successful and his next movie ‘Dharmaputra’ released in 1961, was also very successful, establishing him in the industry. Yash started producing movies through his production company, Yash Raj Films, in 1973.

Rajesh Hamal's foster-sister Maina Suchikar died

Nepali top actor ‘s foster sister of 19 years, Maina Suchikar, has died of pneumonia on Monday Sept 10, 2012.  The disabled lady died while being treated for the last ten days in Shankarapur Hospital in Jorpati, Kathmandu.

While shooting for a movie named ‘Aparadh‘ in Khagendra Nava-Jeevan Kendra, Rajesh Hamal met Maina and started calling her his sister. After that day, Rajesh Hamal used to visit his sister on every Bhai-Tika and he also used to celebrate his birthday with her.

RIP Sushila Rayamajhi

Actress Sushila Rayamajhi has lost the battle against cancer and died on on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in B and B Hospital, Gwarko. The dead body is being kept in Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

Sushila had married twice and has a daughter from one and two daughters from another marriage. Sushila was suffering from a cancer in her womb for the last few years.

Director Deepak Rayamajhi dies at 58 (Photo Update)

58 year old director of Nepali movie industry, Deepak Rayamajhi, has died of heart failure, yesterday in Gangalal Hospital. He was rushed to hospital after the heart attack, where he died at around 12:30AM. His last ritual was conducted in the morning in Pashupati Aryaghat amongst various personals of Nepali movie industry.

After receiving master’s degree in film direction from Russia, he directed his first movie “Bhagya Rekha” in late 1980s. Some of the movies he had directed include Yug dekhi Yug Samma (‘s first movie), Pryasi, Parai Gjhar and others.

82 year old Shailendra Kumar Upadhyay's died on his way to climb Mt. Everest

Ex-Foreign Minister, 82-year-old Shailendra Kumar Upadhyay has died on his way to climb Mt. Everest. He had left for the top of the world on April 17, 2011. He died while walking in a place called Ice Fall, some 2 km above the Mt. Everest base camp.

According to report, Upadhaya died at around 5 and 6 PM of May 9, 2011. The dead body will be brought back by a 17 member mountering team lead by Dawa Steven Sherpa.

Sai Baba breathed his last breath

The Indian spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba has passed away.

After complications related to heart and respiration, Sai Baba was hospitalized on March 28. He didn’t recover and passed away on Sunday morning at 6:25 am.

Sathya Sai Central Trust, in a media conference held at 11:00 am, has announced that the body will be kept in display in Sai Kulwant Hall on Monday and Tuesday, before performing the final rituals.

The 85-year-old spiritual leader was considered an incarnation of God by many of his followers. Before the final announcement a minister Geeta Reddy and other senior government officials held a conference. The state government has deployed more than 6,000 police
to the town for security of the general people and VIPs.
