Dr. CK Raut used his own 4-yesars old daughter as a shield in his protest against the government

Dr. CK Raut is fighting against to government to set the Madhesh as a separate country. The government had arrested Raut more than once and has released on bail.

Sub: Dr. Raut along his daughter & cadres illegally arrested from the Court Premises Rautahat, Nepal

Rauthat, Nepal October 7, 2018 Dr. CK Raut, central coordinator of Alliance for Independent Madhesh (AIM) has been illegally arrested from district Court Premises Rautahat, along with his 4 years daughter Rebati and 18 other supporters at 5PM today. Rebati is ill and she needs medical treatment. Despite Dr Raut’s request to send his daughter to Janakpur for medical check-up, police have refused irresponsibly.
Dr Raut had been in Gaur for regular court attendance at District Court Rautahat however he has been arrested from the court premises, Sanjay swaraji and Rameshwar swaraji have also been detained along with him. Similarly, 16 other supporters of Dr. Raut have also been arrested while demonstrating peacefully against the arbitrary arrest. Police resorted to baton charge and violent tactics on the protesters injuring over a dozen of them.

Nirmala Panta case, official Government Report released after public demand

The full report of the case of Nirmala Case in Kanchanpur has been released by the government after much protest against the government all over the country. It is a sad truth that the government took such a long time to release the report of public inquiry.

The report points to a very serious shortcomings of the police officers. The police had been very bad in treating with the public and it seems the police was involved in the incident. The report hasn’t identified the culprit and it has recommended further investigation into the matter.

Earlier, actress Rekha Thapa had participated in the protest rally to pressurize the government to take action against the culprit. The case has gained so much publicity that the government and all the local bodies are under pressure to take action. In the desperate attempt the police had forced locals to falsely admit crime. The DNA test and other investigation has proved the police force forcing innocent to admit the crime.

Despite of the director who has directed some good movies in the Nepali film industry, the love story movie wasn’t successful in the box office. The movie ‘Ghampani’ released with this movie took the limelight. The movie was released in April of 2017 (read release news).

Sports Cars in Nepal – Lamborghini Lookalike DC Aventi

I saw a post in a discussion board titled – “12 Karod Lamborghini spotted in Kathmandu”. The poster shared the following photos taken in Kathmandu streets. The number plate on the yellow car is Nepali number plate. So, it is no doubt taken in Kathmandu street.

To prove the car is an expensive car the poster also shared a screenshot of Lamborghini price-sheet. The model cost from $350K to $450K.

Paramita RL Rana got engaged during her 25th birthday celebration

As her ex-boyfriend, Ayushman DS Joshi, celebrated the engagement with Priyanka Karki, Pramita RL Rana also got engaged with her current boyfriend – Hisi Losang.

Although Paramita prefers to say that it was only a gift from her boyfriend, Hisi Losang had brought a ring and helped her in wearing it on her finger. Watch the following video to see how Hisi offered a ring to Paramita. It is clear they wanted everybody to see the event.

Hisi and Paramita have been seeing each other after Paramita’s ex Ayushman started seeing Priyanka Karki. Ayushman and Priyanka had performed the engagement ceremony twice. Priyanka and Ayushman have named the couple “Ayanka” and their engagement ceremony was well announced and the guests were invited by distributing custom-made invitation card. Dashain message of Ashika Tamang – tearful for animals (and their families)

Actress Ashika Tamang – the actress of ‘Sushree’, the Nepali actress who lives in Germany, has sent a tearful message. In the message to go vegetarian in Dashain, Tamang has told that they have their families and who should be mindful for the pain we might cause to their families when we eat meat.

Although Ashika Tamang is very serious in her message delivery. She is full of tears and at one point she couldn’t speak because of the pain she is feeling – a lot of viewers of her message took her message with a grain of salt. Some even found it funny.

Urban Dictionary website Banned in Nepal

It is a really surprising move by Nepal government – to ban websites in order to “reduce crime.” According to a latest report, educational sites are being banned under the directive of Nepal Government. One of the most surprising ban is the blockage of a dictionary site:

According to an English Daily, ‘The Kathmandu Post’ article, banning sites is a desperate attempt of the government after its, “failure to provide justice to 13-year-old Nirmala Pant despite such social outcry, this banning of porn is merely a liar’s paradox.”

It says, “the blame on pornography instead of accepting its own incompetence and the failure of its justice system is only a veil the government is using to not address many severe underling issues.” (Kathmandu post)

The article says, “Similarly, various studies done among diverse human civilisations has failed to find any precise correlation between digital erotic content and real world sexual violence against women. As the argument goes, much research evidence has revealed that porn actually functions as a ‘safety valve’ for otherwise violent instinct.”

This is not the fist time Nepal government had tried banning websites. In 2010 I did an analysis of sites blocked in Nepal: (read the report)

At that time sites like Huffington post and Blogspot blogs were blocked in Nepal. I had argued at that time that the banning won’t work for some 5 different reasons (read the 5 reasons).

Priyanka Karki and Ayushman DS Joshi to be featured in Radha 2

In the sequel of Nepali movie ‘Radha’, actress Priyanka Karki and her boyfriend Ayushman DS Joshi have been confirmed. According to latest report the actors of ‘Katha Kathmandu’ have been signed in Yogesh Ghimire’s film ‘Radha 2’.

The upcoming movie is told to be a musical love story. As they are actually in love, the director has found the potential of them showing their real love in the screen. The director Ghimire told to an online, “I see a lot of musical sense in Ayushman for the role in the movie.”

In the fist sequel – ‘Radha’ Sanchita Luitel and Jiwan Luitel were featured in leading role. But, they both won’t be featured in the sequel of the film. The movie is scheduled to start shooting on Kartik 8.

Friday Release – Katha Kathmandu, Anurag and Tshring

Three new films were released in theatre this week on Friday, September 28, 2018. As all three movies are targeted to different viewers, the viewers aren’t expected to divide over these films. In addition to these films, last week’s release ‘Intu Mintu Londonma’ is still getting a lot of viewers. So, it is more like four Nepali movies at the same time.

Katha Kathmandu

A movie directed by Sangita Shrestha, ‘Katha Kathmandu’ is the story of Kathmandu. The movie targeted to the people in Kathmandu is about the life style and crime in the city. The movie got a lot of publicity because of the trailer and the disapproval of the Film Development Board. The movie however is open for all the viewers to watch it. The movie features Priyanka Karki, Pramod Agrahari, Ayushman Desraj Joshi, Sandhya KC, Sanjog Koirala and others. The script of the movie is written by the director Sangita herself. Asta Maharjana is the action director.

Both of the sequels were successful in box office. The movie also won numerous awards. The movie was released on July 14, 2017 (release news). Although the name of the film is borrowed from a song in the movie ‘Prem Geet’, the characters in the movie are not named Prem and Geet (The characters of another movie ‘Prem Geet 2’ are named Prem and Geet). The lead character in the film is Paul (the real name) and the actress Pooja is named Saya in the movie.

The youth story of the crime and love story film features the actress of ‘Jerryy’, Anna Sharma in leading role. Actress Rojisha Shahi and Aashirman debute in the film. The director of ‘Kabaddi’, Ram Babu Gurung is also featured as an actor in the movie. The movie featuring some of the well known actors like Anna, Samyam Puri and the director, there was a high expectation of success, that didn’t happen.

After Sushmita and Bhuwan divorced, Sushmita started calling her Sushmita Bomzom. But, there was a problem with the name. That was because she had obtained the Nepali passport under KC. When she couldn’t get the passport under her maiden name, she had to seek the support of Anmol KC. Being the mother of a Nepali citizen, she could renew her passport. Priyanka Karki asks you to stop “Body Shaming and Hating”

Priyanka wrote “So yeah! My ribs are protruding outside without any edits or photoshop!”

Priyanka is losing weight and she is showing off her effort. She says, when she gain weight, she won’t share her swimming pool photos. But, we should feel lucky when she starts to loose weight – these types of photos keep on coming.

The attached photos aren’t the only bikini clad photos of Priyanka. She had been constantly sharing such photos for the last few months. As the time nears the release of her first movie with her finance, Ayushman Desraj Joshi, ‘Katha Kathmandu’ she seem to be excited. While sharing the photo in Instagram Priyanka wrote, “It’s my body. When I don’t have a problem why should you. Take a chill pill guys.”

By the way, it is sad she has to write all these things just to share a photo.
