Did Gauri Malla return after failing to get the Green Card ?

In a latest rumor, Gauri Malla has returned from the USA after she failed to get the resident card – Green Card. Gauri landed in Kathmandu at around 3:30 PM on March 14 with actor Ramesh Upreti. She has no plans to return back to the USA and will be busy making her dream project titled ‘Gauri’.

Before leaving US, Gauri had told that she was returning back to meet her sick mother. The statement is true – her 87 years-old mother is sick but, her plan of not returning back is because of the fact that she couldn’t get the Green Card. Gauri’s mother is preparing for a by-pass surgery in near future.

Actress Gauri Malla‘s mother is very sick and she is fighting for her life in Nepal. The doctors have prescribed a surgery that has a fifty percent survival chance. Gauri’s mother had wanted to meet the daughter before the surgery so, Gauri is flying back to Nepal in a hurry.

Manisha Koirala met Nepali in New York in her first public appearance after cancer diagnosis (Photos)

For the first time since she was diagnosed of cancer, actress Manisha Koirala has met the Nepali residents of New York. In a program organized to welcome the actress, Manisha went with her parents and enjoyed the feast. She talked about the past and her future plans and told that she is cured of cancer now.

Because of the side effects of chemotherapy, Manisha doesn’t have hair on her head. In the program she had worn a head cover and a hat to conceal her head. In a report, Manisha seemed cheerful, healthy and happy. Nepali actress and cancer survivor Gauri Malla was also present in the event.

On 12/12/12 Nepali actress Gauri Malla met actress Manisha Koirala in the hospital in New York where she is recovering from a surgery. That was the third day of the surgery and Manisha was still in the intensive care unit (ICU). Although others were not allowed to visit Manisha, Mridula Koirala helped Gauri to meet Manisha.Â (Gauri’s article here)

In the short article Gauri wrote after the visit, she said that she felt sad on the news about Manisha made based on rumors. She says that Manisha looked healthy and beautiful in the hospital bed.
