Salman Khan Nepal event re-scheduled, will Biplav let it happen this time?

Bollywood star Salman Khan’s tour, Da-Bangg The Tour, was re-scheduled from March 10 amidst protest of a Maoist group – the Biplav- Maoist faction. At that time, the group had threatened the concert organizers. They had accused the organizers of promoting Indian artists instead of Nepali artists. Now, it is not clear how their accusation became nullified. But, the event is re-scheduled for May 26, 2018.

Recently Salman Khan was arrested in India for the crime he committed some 20 years ago. After living in the jail for two days, he was released in bail on Saturday.

According to the letter from Indian organizer, JA Events LLP, the event will be held on May 26, 2018. The artists who will participate in the event include Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Sanon, Prabhudeva, Daisy Shah, Meet Bros, Manish Paul and dancers.

Shankar and Richa had teamed up to produce another movie titled ‘Tulasi’. The movie is yet to release in Nepal. Shankar and Richa couple have gone to the US in the name of showing the movie there.

Archana Peneru, Fake marriage, Fake husband arrested (UPDATE Video)

UPDATE: The fake husband of Archana Paenru is arrested by Nepal police. Wolf Price, a US citizen was found to be doing illegal works in Nepal and was arrested. The police is going to keep him locked up and gather details of the things he did in his stay in Nepal. The police has reportedly found links between Price and Archana Paneru.

Samragyee’s Timi Sanga to compete with Karishma Manandhar’s Heros

This week on Friday, April 5, 2018, two new movies are released in theatre. The third film of Samragyee RL Shah, ‘Timi Sanga’ is released in single theatres and multiplexes. Another new release is ‘Heros’, a film by the actress of the film, Purnima Lama. Actress Karishma Manandhar is also featured in ‘Heros’.

About ‘Timi Sanga’

The movie by Shishir Rana is made on a triangular love story. The movie featuring Samragyee RL Shah, Akash Shrestha and Najir Hussain is produced and directed by actor Shishir Rana. Shishir is also featured in a role in the movie.

The movie shot in beautiful locations in Pokhara, Ghandruk, Annupurna Base Camp and Kathmandu features beautiful sceneries. Two songs of the film released earlier had also received positive feedback. The director and writer Rana says that the movie is made on an original story. He has told that he has used all the knowledge he had gained while working in the film industry during his entire career.

Rajesh Payal Rai met with an accident in Gulmi

While going to participate in Gulmi Mahotsav, singer Rajesh Payal Rai met with an accident. The vehicle carrying Rajesh Payal Rai had crashed with a Taxi on the road. Eight people had sustained injuries and nobody was critically hurt.

In a Facebook status Rajesh Payal had confirmed the accident. He told that he is safe and will continue his program in Gulmi Mahotsav.

Fake marriage of Archana Peneru

The actress of ‘Jism’ and ‘Chhesko’, Archana Paneru got an instant popularity but, she couldn’t sustain the popularity for long. The popularity in social media was sudden and short-lived. Now, when she is unknown to may, she is trying to create a buzz in media. It seems, her attempts are not working this time.

A while ago, Archana announced that she got married to a foreign guy. She also shared photos of them together in her Facebook profile. But, when the “news” didn’t make any headlines and nobody actually believed in her, she has tried to un-do the marriage. I didn’t write about the marriage at that time because of the suspicion of it being only a propaganda. It now turned out to be true.

It was the first time – Madan Krishna Shrestha made others cry!

Yes, it was the first time the popular comedian Madan Krishna Shrestha didn’t make other people happy. He made them sad because he was engulfed in sadness – because of the death of his nearest and dearest wife, Yasodha Subedi Shrestha.

Yasodha, Madan Krishna’s wife for almost half-a-century couldn’t win her battle with cancer and died on April 2. On the next day, she was cremated in Pashupati Aryaghat. At that time, Madan Krishna couldn’t control himself and cried a lot. The people around him couldn’t keep their eyes dry. That was one of the saddest moment for a lot of people. R.I.P. Madan Krishna’s wife, Yasodha Subedi Shrestha

The ‘Ma’ of Ma-Ha, Madan Krishna Shrestha, lost his dearest wife to colon cancer on April 2, 2018. Yesodha Subedi was 67 years old. Madan and Yesodha have a son and a daughter. The son, Yaman Shrestha, is named after the parents “Ya” for Yasodha and “Man” for Madan.

Madan Krishna remembers found and tied the knot with his partner Yasodha Subedi when he was 23 years old. That was in the early 70s – a time when people of different caste were not allowed to marry, by the society. Subedi and Shrestha shared a common workspace at Sanchaya Kosh. At the time, Yasodha started to work as an assistant accountant, Madan had been working there for three.

About ‘Shree Paanch Ambare’

The movie directed by Deepa Basnet was released in 2014. The movie featuring Keki and Saugat in leading role also features Bikram Singh Tharu, Raj Gadaili, lokmani Sapkota, Sirjana Adhikari and Diwaj Rai. The movie with different flavour in naming and storyline, the movie gained a lot of talk. But, it wasn’t much successful in box office. The director had expressed her dissatisfaction on the business of the movie.

Actress Keki Adhikari is featured as a sex worker. Saugat is in a double role. The comedy movie is written by Abhimanyu Nirabi’s story and screenplay. Music in the film are composed by Basanta Sapkota, Kali Prasad Baskot, Babu Bogati and Yama Buddha. The movie features the choreography of Nirmal Rana, Naresh Bir Singh and Shiva BK. The dialogue is written by Abhimanyu Narabi and Amrit Agarwal.

Pokhara Attractions

This is a series about the attractions of Pokhara.

There are a lot of things that can be seen and experienced in Pokhara. Some include mixing up with the local people, knowing the culture and tradition and enjoying local varieties of foods and delicacies are some of the exciting things in Pokhara.

There are places like Sarangkot, Kahu dada, Santi stupa (world peace pagoda) where you can hike and enjoy the sceneries and the locality. Similar entertainment are available at Bhadaure Tamgi, Foksing hill, Barahi temple, Nirmal Pokhari, Nuwakot, Mattikhan, Naudada and other places. Chandrakot and Pumdikot all also hill stations and sightseeing centre.

Fewa Lake: Pokhara and Fewa Lake are synonymous. The lake lies at the west corner of Pokhsara valley. Approximately 5km long and 1.5 km wide the lake covers an area of 4.4 sq km.

Samragyee and Pradeep Khadka most popular actors at FAAN Award (watch winning films)

Popular actors among the youth, Pradeep Khadka and Samragyee RL Shah were awarded the Star of the Year at the FAAN Award 2073. This was the second edition of the film award ceremony organized by Film Artists Association of Nepal. In last year’s award, actor Anmol KC was awarded the artist of the year award.

Prime minister KP Sharma Oli had handed over the award certificated to the winners in an event held in Kathmandu on March 30, 2018.

Samragyee’s upcoming movie ‘Timi Sanga’ is releasing on Chaitra 23 and ‘Lily Billy’ of Pradeep Khadka is releasing the next week, on Chatria 30. After receiving the award Pradeep Khadka waited for Samragyee to receive her award and they posed together asking the photographers to take their photos.

When Kishor Nepal wrote a fake interview of Priyanka Karki in Shaptahik

In an event held to release the trailer of ‘Kohalpur Express’, the debut movie of Keki Adhikari as a producer, three actresses of the movie expressed their dissatisfaction towards journalist Kishor Nepal.

In the event, Priyanka remembered the incident and how she dealt with it. She had complained against the writer and had forced to remove the article from the website. When I checked Kantipur’s website, the issue of Saptahik of March 10, 2017 is not available online.

Barsha Raut and Barsha Siwakoti both left Nai Nabhannu La 5 because of Swastima Khadka

Two Barsha – Barsha Siwakoti and Barsha Raut left ‘Nai Nabhannu La 5’ because of the roles they were offered in the movie. The reasons of the rejection of the movie by the two actresses is said to be because of their roles relative to Swastima Khadka. Swastima is featured in the leading role and the roles of the two actresses were that of characters that were older than Swastima.

Why did Barsha Raut left ‘Nai Nabhannu La 5’?

Barsha being fat, was offered the role of an elder sister of Swastima Khadka. But, as they are of similar age, Barsha didn’t want to be tagged as an older woman when compared to Swastima. That was the reason Barsha said she rejected the role. Watch the following video report:
