The celebrity wedding ceremony is to start today at Gokarna Forest Resort in Kathmandu with Swyambar ceremony. The actual marriage will take place tomorrow (June 19, 2010) at the same resort. The reception however is going to be a grand ball in Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu.

After the success of Hifajat, Ayush Rijal and Rekha Thapa are considered new hot sensation in the screen.
Rekha Thapa, well known for acting with fresh and young actors, brought Ayush in Hifajat. The producers have liked the couple and currently, Rekha and Ayush are busy shooting two movies – Challenge and Sadak.
Apart from the two movies they are shooting they have recently signed two more movies – Khushi and Jaljala, in a single day. Rekha Thapa says, “I have acted in so many films, but I had never signed two movies in a single day.â€
Jaljala, by director Shivaji Lamichane, is an action thriller movie with terrorism theme. Rekha Thapa plays terrorist in the move. Another movie, Khusi will be produced by Gopi Krishna movies and directed by Gyanendra Deuja. The movie is based on love between Rekha and Ayush.
It is told that Khusi will start after the shooting of Challenge finishes. Jaljala will follow Khusi in shooting schedule.
It was bad luck for a movie, Kassam ,that Nikhil Upreti left when he ran away with Sanchita to Mumbai. The producers of another movie, Mato, were lucky enough to convince Rajesh Hamal to replace Nikhil, but Kassam’s producers weren’t blessed by luck.
The producer of Kassam, Ramprasad Rijal and director Laxman Rijal had tried to contact Nikhil but, without any success. As an alternative, they approached Biraj Bhatta, but to their dismay, Biraj also declined to act in it.
For a shooting schedule of 10 days, Rijal duo offered Biraj Rs. 500,000, which is a good money. But, Biraj has is own logic to decline to act in the movie. Biraj’s three reasons not to act in the movie: 1. He doesn’t want to act in a EX 3 Digital movie, 2. He won’t act in a movie left by Nikhil Upreti, 3. He won’t like to act in a movie that was scripted for somebody else.
Nepali director Rishi Neupane is going to direct a movie named after the top actor in Nepal, Rajesh Hamal. The movie, Mero Rajesh Dai, is based on the story of two brothers. The movie is being produced by Sandesh Baraile.

A recent update on the June 19 marriage ceremony of Manisha Korala with Samrat Dahal is released on the venue of the marriage ceremony. According to the program, the Swyamber ceremony will be held on June 18 at Gokarna Resort, kathmandu. The marriage ceremony will also be held at the same location the following day.
Designers Sabyasachi Mukherji and Anna Singh will design the outfits for the pre-wedding ceremonies. Manisha will wear a red sari with diamond-and-gold work on her big day. Samrat, the groom, will wear traditional Nepali wear picked out by his US-based sister.
The family source told that the marriage ceremony is being held out of their home because of the recent death of her grandfather Girija Prasad Koirala.
Samrat will take Manisha as his wife to his home at Maharajganj, Kathmadu on the evening of June 19. The marriage party will be held in Soltae Hotel on the evening of June 20. Apart from the family members and relatives of Manisha and Samrat some Bollywood personnel will also attend the marriage party. Details on the attendance is not released yet.
Manisha recently finished shooting for Dipendra Khanal’s Nepali film titled Dharma. The film marks the return of the actress to the Nepali film industry nearly two decades after she left for Bollywood. Before she returned to prepare for marriage, she was in Cochin, South India, shooting for a Telugu film.
Celebrities prefer to celebrate their birthdays with big parties and on the costliest hotels. But, Rajesh Hamal‘s preference was a bit different from other celebs in general. He went to meet his sister Maina Suchikar in Nepal Apanga Sangha, Khagendra Nava Jeevan Kendra.

hday for the past twelve years. To celebrate the birthday, Rajesh Hamal arrived in the Kendra at 11:15 with a big cake, and other food items.
Hamal, born in 1964 in Palpa, Tansen, since starting his film career with his first film Yug Dekhi Yug Samma in 1994, he has remained the first choice of filmmakers and the audience as well. In his 20 years of filmy career, Rajesh has acted in more than 250 movies. Rajesh is also considered one of the top actors in Nepali movie industry. Hamal has also been given the title of Mahanayak (top actor) by the industry and his fans. With a Master’s degree in English Literature from Punjab University, India, Hamal is also known to be an intellectual within the film industry.
In his birthday, Hamal has many wishes and one of them is to direct a movie in the coming year. “I have always be en interested in filmmaking. I will
definitely direct a film by 2011,†he said, “I won’t promise that I will come out with something unbelievable but there will definitely be a new touch to it.â€
To the disappointment of some, marriage is not one of the his birthday wishes. At 46, he still says, “I am not saying I will never get married.â€
A Bipasa Basu commercial is being a great hit in YouTube these days. The famous Bollywood actress posed topless in the advertisement for New York Lotto.
The commercial was shot in the beginning of her career, sometime in 1999, was directed by Ken Nahoum. The ad art director was illustrator Tommy Kane and the ad was shot in India. Bipasa has posed topless in the ad and she looks very sensual.

According to Bipasha’s spokesperson, Bipasha had done this ad in 1999 when she was modeling for Ford Modeling Agency in New York. The spokesperson said that the ad was was done as an international assignment and was meant for the international market.
There was a very hot interview of a model, Smita Thapa, in Saptahik, the sister publication of Nepal’s top newspaper, Kantipur. The interview titled “I need a man not a husband†claims that the model Smita Thapa uses men as toys and she uses men only for her sexual needs. Claiming to be the first public revelation of her private life, Smita talks about her decade long sex life. Smita started revealing more details of her sex life as the whiskey she was drinking took control of her.

Sanchita Luitel, for the first time, has publicly told that she has marriedNikhil Upreti. In a program, Rajatpat, broadcasted in Kantipur TV on Wednesday, she has told that after a 3-year-long affair, they had married some two years back. Sanchita also claimed that Nikhil hasn’t lived with his official wife, Kopila Upreti, since then.
Sanchita told that Nikhil didn’t want to flash the marrige to public so they didn’t tell about it then. In the interview she also told that she will bing Nikhil back to Nepal soon.

Phurba Tamang won this year’s Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon, the toughest and highest marathon in the world. The Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon is held on May every year. This year renounced actor Bhuwan KC also was there to participate in the marathon.
After marrying actor Nikhil Upreti, Sanchita Luitel has been living in Mumbai for some time. Both of them have been avoiding the media and much of their personal lives is unknown to the general public.
When asked, Alok told that he doesn’t know the exact date she came to Kathmandu but he confirmed that she is doing the dubbing. Sanchita will remain in Kathmandu for the next two months but she is not interested to meet the media persons during her stay.
The date and the venue of the marriage of Manisha Koriala and Samrat Dahal is fixed for June 18 (Ashad 4, 2067 in Nepali date) in Gokarna. According to Manisha’s father, Prakash Koirala, the date was fixed by the family priest Ramchandra Ghimire.
Prakash told that although the marriage preparation is in full swing, Manisha is still in Madras in a Hindi movie shooting. He wished she were in Kathmandu to prepare for the wedding. Prakash was talking to the representatives of Naya Patrika daily.
