Superstar Rajesh Hamal is marrying his long-time girlfriend Madhu Bhattarai today (on May 24, 2014) in a secret location. Only close family members and friends are invited to participate in the marriage ceremony. No media personnel are invited to attend the ceremony.

The marriage between 50-years old Hamal and 28-years old Bhattarai is one of the most sought after marriage in Nepali film industry. Before he met Madhu, Rajesh used to make fun of love relationship and marriage. These days, he has started to appreciate the strength of love and relationship.

For the first time after arrival in Nepal, Hollywood model, actress and singer Selena Gomez has posted a photo of her in typical Nepali dress – saree, beads garland and glass bangles. That is, the visit is no longer a secret visit. The photo posted in Twitter has a caption "Sari, not sari. ".

This is the first official indication that Selena is currently in Nepal. We have stumbled upon more than a few unofficial photos of Selena posing with Nepali people in different places.

Selena visited Rapti High School, a school run by UNICEF. She visited the child-friendly classrooms in the school and had spent some time with the children.

The actresses of the movie releasing on Friday, ‘Mero Best Friend’, Priyanka Karki and Keki Adhikari are currently shooting together in Pokhara and surrounding areas. The actresses arrived from the sets of their upcoming movie ‘Fanko’ to Kathmandu to participate in the premier show of ‘Mero Best Friends’ held at FCube.

On Thursday Keki and Priyanka were shooting in Damauli when they headed towards Kathmandu. They however don’t have much free time. To continue the shooting of ‘Fanko’ on Friday at 6 AM, the actresses took off toward Damauli right after the premier and press meet.

Popular US pop singer and actress Selena Gomez has secretly visited Nepal recently. The information about her visit was released when fan photos of Selena surfaced in social networking sites. There is no official words from Selena or her agents about her Nepal visit.

The photos taken in a airplane with air hostess and photo taken in Bhaktpur area are found in Twitter and Facebook. Selena is a goodwill ambassador of UNESCO and the visit is believed to be related. Another singer, Aisha Cole, is also rumored accompany Selena.

The recent episode of the film related TV program ‘Rajatpat’ featured an interview of Rajesh Hamal. In the interview, Rajesh revealed some of the facts previously not known. Talking about their first meeting, Rajesh told that he had invited her to call him by giving his visiting card. Madhu called him a day before his birthday and they were together on his birthday.

Referring to her passport and official documents Rajesh told that Madhu is 28 years old. That makes the age difference between Rajesh and Madhu more than 20 years.

He also talked about 8-years long affair to a foreign girl and his first affair with his Indian girlfriend when he was 22 years old.

Two of actress Richa Singh Thakuri‘s movies were released in consecutive weeks. A couple of weeks earlier, ‘Maya Gara La’ featuring Richa in lead role was released and this week, ‘Khudkilo’ was released.

‘Maya Gara La’ proved to be another loss-making Nepali movie and ‘Khudkilo’ is going destined to similar performance in theater. That means, Richa’s future in Nepali film industry is not as bright as one might expect.

In an event organized in Kathmandu actor Rajesh Hamal proposed his long time girlfriend Madhu Bhattarai. Rajesh offered a ring to Madhu in the program held at Shankar Hotel Kathamndu.

This was the first time the top actor was seen together with Madhu in a public function. The invited journalists in the program were asked to wait for half-an-hour before allowing in the room.

Actor Rajesh Hamal has finally confirmed the date of his marriage (as he promised). After a long affair with model Madhu Bhattarai of Dharan, Hamal has finalized the date after numerous delays.

Hamal is planning to propose Madhu on May 14, 2014 in a candle light dinner. Madhu will accept his proposal. After the acceptance, Hamal will present Madhu with a special present from his mother and the details of the marriage ceremony will be finalized.

MaHa Jatra 2071 starting on May 9

On Wednesday, May 7 a press meet was organized at Briks CafÃ© in Kupondole, Lalitpur to inform about MaHa Jatra 2071. The stage show of the popular comedy duo Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya is being organized after a long time.

In the press meet Rajaram Poudel and Kiran KC had proposed to term the duo the ‘Hasya Samrat’. In response, Haribansha told that they were content with the title ‘MaHa’ for now. He also told that it was Rajaram who had first called them MaHa during the stage show ‘Bigyapan’. After that, the duo is known as MaHa – a word meaning honey in Nepali.

She told, her fans are of positive attitude and they are the only reason she is still active in the field. In the olden days, it wasn’t that easy. Celebrities meet their fans in person, took some photographs and offer autographs – that was all. They didn’t have a two way communication.

Namrata admitted, she gets a lot of proposals from her fans. Some even want to marry her and have kids. Others just want to be friends. But, she takes such proposals positively and says ‘thank you’ to them.
