It is a surprising fact that, most of the Nepali actresses have given birth to a girl child as their first child. Majority of the actresses have daughters as their first child. The a daughter of the another actresses Arunima Lamsal have also given birth to a daughter (update).

Karishma Manandhar Event:
In the occasion, actress Karishma Manandhar is organizing a holi celebration in her home at Godawari, Lalitpur. Karishma has invited many of the Nepali movie personalities to celebrate holi in her home. The holi celebration starts at 10 AM in the morning and will run till about 5:00 PM in the evening. The event reminds me of photos of Rekha Thapa celebrating holi last year.
The actor Rajesh Hamal is on his way back from Japan and he is going to celebrate Holi in Thailand. He is returning back to Nepal on Sunday.

When Karishma Manandhar attended the first anniversary party of Nagariknews, she became the center of attraction. The actress in her 40s looked younger and more attractive in the green dress.
It was not only the face and the dress that was attractive about her that day. The tattoo of Nepal’s national flower ‘gurash’ (Red Rhododendron) on her breast was the center of attraction of everybody.
The tattoo looks more like a painting on her breast rather than a permanent tattoo. It looks like, after living in the US for some time, she has brought the western trends and fashion with her. Showing panties while wearing mini-skirt (photo below) seems another of the western fashion trend (Thanks god, she didn’t dare the Brittney Spears, or Paris Hilton, or an Indian-Samita Setty style!).

The director, Nir Shah, himself had produced this movie. The actor Rajesh Hamal has told that ‘Basanti’ is one of his favorite movies. The movie is set in an ancient time – featuring the high class lifestyle of Rana people. This is one of the few movies that were made on the story of a popular book and became successful as a movie too. Encouraged by the success of this movie, Nir Shah had recently produced a movie based on another novel of Diamond Shumser, ‘Seto Bagh’. Despite of huge publicity and awaiting, the new movie however failed to impress the viewers.
