About ‘Dharma’

Romantic and action packed Nepali movie ‘Dharma’ was released in 2011, featuring Manisha Koirala in lead role. ‘Dharma’ is a presentation of Aasma Films by Diperndra K Khanal. The story and dialouge of the movie is written by Yougesh Rayamajhi and the movie is produced by Dr. Dugra Pokharel.

Star Cast of ‘Dharma’

The movie ‘Dharma’ was promoted as the comeback movie of Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala. Manisha debuted in Nepali movie ‘Feri Bhetaula’ in 1989. But, the movie wasn’t as successful as expected. After that, Manisha went to Bollywood and established herself as the top actress. ‘Feri Bhetaula’ is not available online. The comeback movie ‘Dharma’ also failed to appeal the public. The movie introduces a new actor Samyog Pokharel.

The director of ‘Dharma’, Dipendra K Khanal directed a superhit movie ‘Pashupati Pradad’ last year. He is also the director of ‘Chapali Height’. Other artists in the movie are superstar Rajesh Hamal and action star Nikhil Upreti. This movie was made before Nikhil married Sanchita and left the film industry for five years. Nikhil has made a successful comeback and is busy in the film industry these days. Actress Anu Shah is also featured in the movie. Another actress Rejina Upreti was also a well known actress at the movie’s time. These days, Rejina has left the film industry after marrying her boyfriend. Rejina is expecting a child in November 2016.

‘Dharma’ Story:

The lead character, Rajesh Hamal is called ‘Dharmaa’ in the movie. Dharmaa is posted as the DFO of Kaliban after the poachers killed the previous DFO at the post. Dharmaa leaves his wife Gauri (Manisha Koirala) hat home with his brother Abhaya (Samyog Pokharel) and sister-in-law, Diya (Anu Shah). The poachers and the police in the Kaliban area had teamed up to smuggle the timber from the forest. Nikhil Upreti is featured as DSP Ajit Jung who investigate the incidents at the Kaliban. Rajesh Hamal mocked public holiday on Indian President visit to Nepal

Nepali superstar, Rajesh Hamal has mocked the decision by the Nepal government to declare a public holiday on the day Indian president Pranab Mukharjee visited Nepal. On the occasion of the official visit of the Indian president, curfew was imposed on the streets in Kathmandu and offices were closed all over Nepal. In a recent post Rajesh Hamal expressed his surprise on the curfew imposed on the day of the President’s visit.

A while earlier, in a Facebook post, Rajesh Hamal had written: The head of the present Nepal Government who ironically, once upon a time propagated the concept of ‘New Nepal’ has in course of time shaken the very foundation of being Nepali. The protocol amongst sovereign states should be on a reciprocal basis. I am eagerly waiting for the day when India/China will declare a national holiday when our President makes a state visit to those countries.

It was the first such visit of Indian president in almost two decades. The government has cited the security reason for the holiday declaration. The prime minister Puspa Kamal Dahal will be most adversely affected by such a step.

‘We are still in Honeymoon’, Rajesh Hamal says, baby attempt going on

In a conversation with RJ Sabeena Karki, Nepali actor Rajesh Hamal has talked about his personal life and about his wife. Rajesh told his married life is going “fantastic” and he is very happy with his marriage. In the live interview was taken at Time Square in New York, Rajesh told that hew was confused if he should get married or not. He added, “Now, once I am married, I am very happy.”

Friday Release – Shakuntala

The movie featuring the superstar of Nepali movie industry, Rajesh Hamal in a female’s role, ‘Shakuntal’ was released in theater this Friday on August 26, 2016. The movie was one of the most awaited movie of the year because of Rajesh Hamal’s a woman’s get-up. Although Hamal is featured in a female’s role, he is still featured in action role like his previous movies.

The movie shows Rajesh Hamal in action role while wearing Saree. At the time when most of the movie are not successful commercially, ’Shakuntala’ is expected to do better. The actor Rajesh Hamal howver is not in Nepal at the time of the release of the movie. He is currently in the USA. In addition to Rajesh Hamal, the movie also features Kishor Khatiwada, Anu Shah and Pradeep Dhakal. Model and actress Namrata Sapkota is featured in an item dance. The movie is directed by Dinesh Shrestha.

The superstar actor Rajesh Hamal is being featured in a Bhadra 9 (August 25, 2016) release movie ‘Sakuntala’. Based on the character, a Teej music video featuring Rajesh Hamal in a woman’s role is released on July 19, 2016. In the music video, Rajesh Hamal has performed a short but nice dance. In the music video – Rajesh Hamal appears at 2:15 and ends at 2:42. It is really short. Another appearance is at 4:34 to 4:44.

Madhu Bhattarai hot avatar, in Thailand vacation with Rajesh Hamal

The superstar of Nepali film industry, Rajesh Hamal is currently in Thailand with his wife Madhu Bhattarai. The couple who married two years ago (Rajesh Hamal and Madhu Bhattarai marriage) are yet to be parents. Because of the age difference between Madhu and Rajesh there had been skepticism on the longevity of their relationship (Rajesh recently turned 52 years old). From time to time those skeptics spread rumours about their relationship. Last time, in May, Rajesh Hamal had responded to the rumour by updating his Facebook cover picture (video report is attached at the end).

This time the Thailand vacation of the couple give s glimpse of their relationship. I have prepared a video with the photos and Rajesh Hamal’s response to the rumour. Watch the video:

Who is Madhu Bhattarai?

Rajesh Hamal’s wife, Madhu Bhattarai was a model before she started having a affair with Hamal. After a lengthy affair, Hamal decided to get married. Madhu is half the age of Hamal. At the time of marriage, Rajesh Hamal was 50 years old and Madhu was 28.

For the first time, the identity of Hamal’s girlfriend was revealed in 2013 when she appeared in an article of Saptahik. In a few days, the photos and more details of Madhu appeared online.  Continue reading
