Cinematographer Deepak Dhakal has died of brain hemorrhage in the Madhyapur Timi Hospital at about 5:00 on Thursday, December 3, 2015. He was admitted to the Hospital after a heart attack a week ago and he was being treated for the problem.
According to reports, the last rituals of Dhakal was performed in Pashupati Aryaghat late on Thursday.
Dhakal debuted as a cinematographer in ‘Sindoor’. He has worked as a cinematographer in 20 big screen movies and has also worked in a number of movies. He was also professor at the only film teaching institute in Nepal, Oscar College. He was also the member of NEFTA.

The debut movie of actress Poojana Pradhan, as a producer, ‘Chocolate’ is releasing on theater on December 4, 2015. The movie made on street children is also the debut movie of comedy actor Nirmal Sharma, as a director. The movie featuring Poojana in the leading role was shown in various countries before being released in Nepal. Poojana’s was also planning to show the movie in the USA but the plan failed when she failed to get the US visa.

The movie is made on a heart touching story on a social drama featuring the clash between the three generations of a family.

The popular movie ‘Jhola’ was released in YouTube by an unauthorized party. The film production team has lodged a complaint against the owner of Mountain River Films Pvt. Ltd., Chandrakanta Jha, at the Police station, Hanumandhoka. According to the film production team, the company had uploaded the copy of the movie provided to the company for foreign shows.
After the complaint, the police’s attempt to to arrest Jha wasn’t successful as he is currently in New Delhi. The police has already taken control of the computer and other equipment from company’s office at Kalikasthan for investigation.
The songs of the upcoming movie of actress Rekha Thapa under her banner Rekha Films, ‘Rampyari’ is attached for your entertainment. The audio jukebox has three songs from the movie. The movie is scheduled to release on the last Friday of the year 2072 BS – on Chaitra 27 (April 8, 2016). Rekha’s ex-husband’s movie ‘Kismat 2’ is also expected to release on the same date.
The movie ‘Rampyari’ features Rekha in the role of a three-wheeler driver and is based on a real person. The movie directed by Shabir Shrestha features Sabin Shrestha opposite to Rekha Thapa and also introduces Rekha’s nephew Aavash Adhikari opposite to actress Ashma DC.
The Bollywood actress, Sunny Leone, has arrived in Kathmandu Saturday to promote a vodka brand. While the whole country is having a hardship of the lack of fuel, cooking gas, and medicine; the Indian star is promoting the liquor in Kathmandu. To add to the hardship, a political party has also called a Nepal Bandh on Novmeber 29, Sunday to protest against the Indian blockade.

Sunny was invited by a new vodka brand Xing. Sunny is the brand ambassador of the brand. Upon her arrival, Sunny performed a sensuous dance at Casino Mahjong in Kathmandu. Sunny performed in a sexy red attire.
It seems, Sunny’s Nepali visit was very short. According to Sunny’s Twitter post, she has already left for Mumbai. She has thanked Nepal, “for your great hospitality and warm hearts. I love that I am able to walk around your city and discover new things!”
When the video Miss India Earth, Aaital Khosla, submitted for the video competition in Miss Earth 2015 competition proved to be a plagiarized and was a misrepresentation, the video was taken down by the organizers. In place of the previous video, Aaital was given an opportunity to submit a new video. The new video in the competition is the same as the previous one, by replacing the scenes from Nepal by the scenes of India.
According to the Nepali contestant, Dibyata Vaidya, Aaital shouldn’t be allowed to compete in the video competition as her submission has failed to qualify and was removed. But, the organizers have allowed her the second chance by letting her upload the edited version of the video. Vaidya says, “Miss Earth Organization should not give second chance as it would be unfair to other countries who have worked so hard in so much pressure to submit the video before the deadline.”
This week two new movies Ram Babu Gurung’s ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’ and Shovit Basnet‘s ‘Jaun Hinda Pokhara’ have released in theater. The targeted audience of these two movies are not the same but, one would certainly affect the business of the other.
The sequel of the hit movie ‘Kabaddi’ by the same team is a highly awaited movie. Miss Earth India, Aaital Khosla has prepared a promotional video to introduce herself and her country. The promotional video is an amazing video showing the natural beauty of the land she claimed to be located in India. But, in fact, almost every part of the video is located in Nepal. In one of the scenes, Nepali vehicles and traffic police can be seen while Aaital tells, “India is one of the leading carbon-di-oxide emission in the world.”

Actress Rekha Thapa has been accused of fraud and lodged a complaint against her in the District Police Office, Khotang. In the complaint, Rekha is accused of taking advance cash for the participation in a local program and failing to show up in the program. The organizer of the program, Sagarmatha Janasewa Samaj, had paid Rs. 1,00,000 in cash to the actress for her participation.

According to the deposit slip provided by the organizer, Rekha was paid the cash in her account in Siddhartha Bank, Kamaladi Branch on Kartik 20, 2072 BS.
Ganesh Puri has told that Rekha didn’t cancel her participation and the organizers couldn’t contact her at the time of the program.
