The executive producer of the movie produced by Sandeep Kundaliya,’Raghav’, is popular actor Raj Ballav Koirala. The film features the music of Sanjeev Singh, Manav Subedy, The Maaya Band, Suman Uday. Made on the story of Bhupendra Bhattarai / Prabin Chandra Subedi / Shibir Pokharel features the screenplay of the director Bhupendra. The film is jointly produceed by Black Hourse Picture and Raj Ballav Koirala Films.

The record making movie by an 8 years-old director, Saugat Bista, ‘Love You Baba’. Saugat has directed the movie featuring his father, Gajit Bista, in leading role with other actors like Sangam Bista, Nishma Ghimire, Ashishma Nakarmi and others. The movie is made on the story of a father and a daughter.

Deapawali is the festival of lights and color. Nepali artists celebrate the festival with a lot of jest and enthusiasm. Laxmi, the goddess of wealth is worshipped along with money and wealth. Oil lights and electric lights are lighted in and around the house.

In a new trend, colorful rangoli are drawn with depiction of Laxmi’s feet on rice flour to guide the goddess of wealth into the house. Here are some photos of the Deepawali celebration in the homes of some of the Nepali film artists.

Rekha Thapa’s Dashain

‘Lazza’ actress Shilpa Pokharel gets excited of the festival. She likes everything from tika, jamara, meeting relatives and having fun. Shilpa’s hometown is Biratnagar and her grand parents, parents and her uncle aunts all still live in Biratnagar. So, she will be visiting her hometown for the festival.

Adhakatti unit waiting Namrata Shrestha to wrap up the shooting

The shooting of the movie by Subrat Acharya, ‘Adhakatti’ was halted when actress Namrata Shrestha became sick and had to undergo surgery. The ‘Adhakatti’ team is expecting to complete shooting soon as Namrata has returned back to Kathmandu after resting in Pokhara for some time.

‘Adhakatti’ features an item dance of the actress. The director Acharya says that the shooting of everything except the item dance titled ‘Hey Namrata…’ has finished.

Namrata Shrestha to be featured in an item dance in Adhakatti

In the debut movie of journalist Subrat Acharya as a director – ‘Adhakatti’, an item dance is made on the name of actress Namrata Shrestha. Subrat approached Namrata to dance on the song, ‘Kya Kamal, Babal Chau Namrata …’ and she agreed.

This will be the first time Namarata will dance in any item dance. In the movie, Namrata will appear in a character of a film actress. The lyrics written by Ranjit Acharya has music of Rajan Ishan. The voices are given by Yuvraj Chaulagai, Nisha Desar and Rajan Ishan.

Actress Ashisma Nakarmi has been signed up to be featured in a dance number in ‘Adhakatti’. The movie directed by journalist Subrat Acharya featurs the story of Subash Dhakal and scritp of Bijaya Adhikari. The cinematograpehr of the movie is Madan Kashyap (Ghimire).
