5 star movie theater inaugurated by MaHa and Nisha Adhikari

A luxurious movie theater has started its operation in Kathmandu. The theater located in Civil Trade Center (CTC) in Sundhara, Cine-De-Safe, features luxurious seating arrangement and restaurants. Chinese, Thai and Indian Continental foods are served to the movie goers. It features breakfast, lunch and dinner for the movie viewers. The theater runs a five-star kitchen to serve it’s guests.

Out of the two theaters in CCT mall’s seventh and eighth floors, one is cine dine and another cine. Cine dine theater has 58 luxury sofas. The sofas can be folded up to 180 degrees and they also feature message while being seated. There are tables to serve foods to the viewers. Individual lights are also provided in each table for the ease in eating while watching movies.

Namrata Shrestha went through a surgery, halted shootings

Actress Namrata Shrestha went through a surgery on Monday. Right after the completion of her movie ‘Tandav’, she was bed-ridden because of typhoid. While sick, her stone problem also intensified, forcing the doctors to perform surgery to remove it.

Namrata was diagnosed of stone few years earlier but, as it wasn’t creating problem she was asked to wait and drink a lot of liquid. After the surgery, the doctors have asked Namrata to take some rest. She has halted the shooting until she feels better. To take rest Namrata and her family are planning to go to Pokhara.

Rekha Thapa terms Chhabi Raj Ojha a talk-head

Actress Rekha Thapa has responded to Chhabi Raj Ojha‘s statement that his wife of more than 10-years had refused to become the mother of his child. Rekha was enraged on Chhabi of bringing out their personal matters to the media. Earlier, Chhabi has talked about the relationship with his ex-wives in an interview with ‘Mirror Nepal’ monthly.

On the occasion of the Nepali New Year, the first look poster of Arpan Thapa‘s debut movie as director, ‘Mukhauta’ was released in a program held in Kathmandu.

‘Mukhauta’ features well known actors like Rajesh Hamal, Nisha Adhikari, Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Harshika Shrestha, Prasant Tamrakar, Dayahang Rai, Robin Tamang, and Sunil Thapa in main roles.Â The movie made under the banner of Reef Entertainment is produced by Rabin Shrestha. Rabin had studied film studies in Singapore and is running a restaurant in Kathmandu. Although Rabin had worked as a cameraman in ‘Mokshya’ he has only sung songs in his own production.

Nepali superstar Rajesh Hamal‘s marriage has been delayed for more than a few times. The 50+ actor has been in love relationship with a model, Madhu Bhattarai for more than four years and in all these years, he hasn’t been able to settle for a date to make it official.

MaHa to continue their MaHa Yatra in UK at the end of April

After successful tour to USA and Australia the team led by MaHa is going to the UK as a part of MaHa Yatra. On the occasion of the Nepali New year, comedians Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya (MaHa) are going to entertain Nepali Britons later this month.

With MaHa jodi, singers Anju Pant, comedian Narendra Kansakar and entertainer Mohit Acharya will also perform in the same stage. The artists are scheduled to arrive in London on April 24 and are returning back to Nepal on May 6.

Sunny Leone in Kathmandu to celebrate Nepali New Year

Bollywood actress and an adult star Sunny Leone is currently in Kathmandu to celebrate Nepali New Year, 2071. This is the second time Leone has visited the capital in a month.

Himmatwali poster released on new year

The poster of action movie ‘Himmatwali’ was released on the New Year – 2071. The movie initially directed by Shyam Bhattarai was replaced by actress and producer Rekha Thapa herself. Rekha is accused of using Shyam Bhattarai to shot the most difficult parts of the movie and sending him away after that.

Taking the cue of the success of her previous movie ‘Kali‘ which was released in Dashain festival, the new movie is also scheduled to release on Dashain festival.

The team of movie ‘Aawaran’ started cleaning Bagmati river. The river considered holy and sacred has been polluted because of the disposal of sewer.

The ‘Aawaran’ team started the cleaning at 10 AM at Gothatar bridge. The cleaning is conducted in coordination with Nava Jagaran Sanstha.

Alok Nembang to feature Sudarshan Thapa and Pooja Sharma in Ajhai Pani

After 5 years of absence from the film industry, Alok Nembang is returning in upcoming movie ‘Ajhai Pani’. The love story movie is to be jointly produced by Sudarshan Thapa Production and Poonam Gautam.

In addition to being the producer and a well known director, Sudarshan Thapa will be featured in the leading role in the movie. 5-days workshop on digital filming, REDucation, started in Pokhara

Actor Rajesh Hamal inaugurated a 5-days-long workshop on digital filming in Kathmandu. After the inauguration in Kathmandu, the workshop team headed towards the workshop venue in Pokhara.

The workshop organized by Film Director’s Guild of Nepal in association with Suryaa Vinayak Movies and Moktan Digital Video, Inc. runs from April 10 to 15 in Pokhara.

The workshop features latest Hollywood standard cameras and gears from the maker of RED camera. The participants of the workshop will get hand-on training on cameras and gears, shooting techniques, basic editing, color grading, posting and more features.
