Nepali actresses and others gathered at Maitighar Mandala on the evening of February 6 to remember late Neha Pun, the Magar film actress raped and killed in Pokhara. At the time when the murderer is yet to be identified the actresses and model in Kathmandu have gathered to pay homage to the deceased soul. The remembrance event called by actresses Richa Sharma was supported by the actresses and models.

The sequel of hit movie ‘Mission Paisa’ is a presentation of Princess Movies in which actress Nisha Adhikari is featured in action role. The movie features actress Priyanka Karki in a special appearance. The music of the movie is composed by late Pandav Sunuwar, choreography by Priyanka Karki, action by Raj Kumar Upreti, written by Prachanda M Shrestha, cinematography by Hari Humagain and produced jointly by Madhav Wagle, Narendra Maharjan. The second biggest festival in Nepal after Dashain, Tihar has been wrapped up on Friday November 13. The last day of Tihar – Bhai Tika is celebrated by brothers and sisters to show their love and dedication to each other. On the occasion, despite of economic blockade from India, people have followed the tradition. Update
The beauty of Bhai Tika is that people make new brothers and sisters during the festival. For example, Takme Budha (Wilson Bikram Rai) and Ashma DC and Sanyukta Puri, Jal Shah and Bikrant Basnet, Nisha Sunar and Suman Budha Magar, Naresh Bhattarai and Sapana Chamling Rai became new brothers/sisters this year.
Singer, journalist and actress Komal Oli made this year’s Bhai Tika memorable by presenting 2-litres petrol to each of her brothers. At the time of petrol-crisis in Nepal, that would certainly made the happiest brothers.
Comedy actress Palpasa Dangol, popularly known as Chamsuri has urine infection and was rushed to emergency room in Teaching Hospital right before Bhai Tika. As she had to be treated in the hospital, her brothers visited Dangol in hospital bed to take Bhai Tika. Palpasa has told that that was one of the most memorable Bhai Tika in her life.
Nisha celebrated her birthday (on October 4) while climbing the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. She has successfully summited the 5756m peak in Tanzania and raised the Nepali flag on top of it and has returned back to Moshi to share the her photos at the peak.
In a Facebook message, Nisha wrote, “FINALLY!!! I summited ‪#‎Uhuru‬ peak at 7 a.m. There was no one around, just me and this gentle soul Abayay. My flag, camera and banners were in a bag pack with a guide and he was nowhere to be seen. We waited for about 15 min freezing and suddenly two figures appeared from the mist. I instantly asked the lady to take a pic of mine there. She wonderfully agreed! So there she was and her guide taking my picture. I thanked her and left as quickly as I could…” In the long message Nisha talks about meeting fellow mountaineers and the being a proud Nepali. In another post, she has expressed her happiness and the feeling of being proud to be able to live her dreams.
The first Nepali actress to climb Mt. Everest, Nisha Adhikari, has announced her next climb – Mt. Kilimanjaro mountain, the highest peak in Africa. Nisha is going to Africa on September 30 to start the ascent on October 1. According to Nisha’s schedule, she will reach the peak on October 9, 2015.
Nisha is planning to take the National Flag of Nepal to the top of Kilimanjaro. It is the same flag that Nisha had taken to the top of Mt. Everest. With the Nepal’s flag, Nisha will also take the flag of the Nepali Artists Association to the top.
In a press meet organized in Kathmandu, Nisha told that she represents Nepal to climb the mountain. In the press meet artists like Krishna Malla, Rabindra Khadka, Nawal Khadka, Yogendra Khadka and Laxmi Giri were present.
Mount Kilimanjaro
Kilimanjaro mountain is a volcanic mountain located in Tanzania. The highest mountain in Africa is 5,895 meters (19,341 ft) above sea level. The mountain is one of the major climbing destinations in the world. The first recorded climber of the mountain were Hans Meyer and Ludwig Purtscheller who reached the peak in 1889.
After living three months in the USA, actress Nisha Adhikari, has returned back to Nepal. Nisha had left Nepal amidst rumor of her breakup and wasn’t expected to return back so soon. Nisha however had reticulated the break up rumors and had told that it was only a vacation tour. Proving herself right, Nisha has returned back on September 23, 2015. She seems to have timed the return to Nepal such that she could promote her upcoming movie ‘Lootera’ before it goes in theater on November 13. The movie featuring Nikhil Upreti is an awaited movie after the success of his comeback movie ‘Bhairav’.

Nisha wrote, “Home is where my family is. Traveling from one home to another. Thank you for being there dada.” She has indicated that she is excited to come back to the country with new constitution. Nepal has adopted the new constitution earlier this week.
In a special ceremony held in Kathmandu on September 20, 2015, the new constitution of Nepal was unveiled by the president Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the Constitution Assembly (CA) in Kathmandu. The constitution was written after an 8-years-long writing process spanning two Constitution Assemblies. Although there are still some people who are not satisfied by the new constitution, ninety percent of CA members had endorsed it. The citizens of Terai region have complained that the Constitution hasn’t incorporated their demands. As the new Constitution can easily be amended by 2/3 majority in the parliament, all the concerns can easily be incorporated in future amendments. According to reports, the new Constitution is the most democratic Constitution in the history of Nepal. On the completion of the lengthy constitution writing process, the film artists have welcomed it and have congratulated everybody for the achievement. When Nisha Adhikari left Nepal suddenly and reached USA in in mid-June, rumors and speculation of her break-up with cricketer Sharad Veshwakar were made. When print media also published report of break-ups, both Sharad and Nisha had made fun of them over the issue. While in the US, Nisha shaved her head and shared her bald photos in Facebook and Instagram.

Nisha clarified that Nisha is not planning to stay in the USA permanently. It was only a vacation tour to live with her brother.
Nisha further clarified that an artist doesn’t need to break up to go to a foreign country.
In a latest report, the actress Nisha Adhikari and her cricketer boyfriend have broken up. The rumor as surfaced as Nisha suddenly headed to the USA for a vacation on Saturday. Her travel was revealed when Nisha shared a status on her transit in Abu Dhabi. (read about to rumor in Nepaliactress.com)
In the Facebook status, Nisha has avoided the questions about the breakup rumors although she has replied to other queries. Her silence, sort-of, confirms the problem in the relationship.
As a lot of Nepali actors have relocated to the USA in the past, question arises if Nisha has a long term plan of living there. Her filmy career in Nepal hasn’t been that much exciting as she has failed give any commercially successful movie, so far.
After the release of ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ to help earthquake victims, another movie by producer Gobinda Shahi is also releasing again. The movie previously released on January 9, ‘Aavash’ is releasing again on June 19 (Friday, Ashad 4).
The movie directed by Surendra Poudel, ‘Aavash’ features Samyam Puri, Nisha Adhikari, Ashma DC and Salon Basnet in leading roles. Shahi has told that the proceeds of the the movie show will be spent in the building earthquake damaged buildings in remote Nepal. Shahi told that the movie was successful at the time of its initial release.
The role of actor Nikhil Upreti in the movie on floor, ‘Lootera’ is that of a don. The getup seen in the shooting photos is different from his roles in other movies. Nikhil has made sure that the style and getup of ‘Lootera’ doesn’t match to that of his upcoming release ‘Bhairav’.
‘Lootera’ is being jointly produced by Basanta Kumar Shrestha and Gopal kayastha. With Nikhil artists Nisha Adhikari, Harshika Shrestha and Sabin Shrestha are also featured in leading roles in the movie. After the completion of the shooting of the movie in Kathamndu in a few days, the film crew is moving to Birgunj for the remaining shooting.
After being absent for the last four years action actor Nikhil Upreti is making a comeback in an action movie ‘Lutera’. The movie being produced by a film distributor, Gopal Kayastha, will feature actors like Nisha Adhikari, Sabin Shrestha, Amit Shrestha and Harshika Shrestha.

This Friday, on February 27, two new movies are releasing – ‘Ajhai Pani’ and ‘Mission Paisa Reloaded’. The last film of the late director Alok Nembang, ‘Ajhai Pani’ was premiered three days before the release among film artists and journalists.

The script of the film is written by Prachanda Man Shrestha and is jointly produced by madhav Wagle and Narendra Maharjan. The censor board has awarded a PG certificate to the film.
The Censor Board has given a PG certificate to ‘Mission Paisa Reloaded’. A PG certificate allows children aged 16 and below to accompany adults to go to the theater. The Board had asked to remove some scenes and dialogues.

Targeted to the youths, Nepali film ‘Aavash’ is directed by Surendra Poudel featuring actors Samyam Puri, Ashma DC, Nisha Adhikari, Salon Basnet, and Sunil Rawal in main roles. Made on a youth love story the story of the film is written by the director himself in association with Hemraj BC. The online couple Samyam Puri and Ashma DC were actually in love relationship offline. But, in a latest report, they have separated on mutual understanding. Samyam is currently busy in the shooting of another movie so, he hasn’t participated in the promotion of the movie.
