Nepali movie ‘Hifajat’ is Rekha Films’ fourth movie and a presentation of Guna Cinema. The movie introduces a new face in the Nepali film industry, Aayush Rijal. The posters of the film were the photoshop copy of an English film.
PLOT – Kirti (Rekha Thapa) is a spoiled brat, estranged from her rich businessman father. The courageous girl likes to create trouble in her college, but she is also a loving friend. Kriti rebels when her father hires Arjun (Aayush Regmi), an ex-army tough-guy, as a bodyguard. To protest she made a charming thier, Aryan (Aryan Sigdel), a friend. Aryan has a secret of his own. Because of Aryan’s secret motives, he betrayed Kriti and leaves her in danger.
Arjun vows to take care of Kriti until she is reunited with Aryan, Kriti’s love-of-life. The road to the true love is filled with dangers, and twists and turns. The path ultimately challenges Kriti’s views of what the life and love is.

Dashain Tika of celebrities of Nepali movie industry
Nepali movie crew including the actors and actress were in festive mood in the Dashain. All the shootings were halted for the biggest festival in Nepal. Most of the crew members celebrated with tika and jamara.
Here are some of the highlights of how the film personalities celebrated their Dashain:
Nikhil Upreti and Sanchita Luitel celebrated their first Dashain together with their child as husband and wife.
Rekha Thapa also celebrated her Dashain with her mother.
Rekha rocked CG Digital Film Awards
Like last year, Rekha Thapa and Aryan Sigdel have again become the top actress and actor in the CG Digital Film Awards, held in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Rekha’s own production, the movie Kasle Choryo Mero Man received the best movie award, director Suraj Subba Nalbo received the best director and Shreeman received the critic’s award.

Looks like, it is the season of actresses being mom in Bollywood and in Nepali movie industry. Soon after the news of Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai expecting a child, rumor of pregnancy of another actress, Lara Dutta, proved to be true.
In our Nepali movie industry, pregnancy of Arunima Lamsal and news of Sanchita Luitel expecting twins after her second marriage with Nikhil Upreti created an unique environment to bring together the five top actresses in Nepali movie industry.

In Nepal, pregnant women are fed beaten rice and yogurt (Dahi Chiura) to wish for the health of the mother and the unborn child. Three of the Nepali actresses, Rekha Thapa, Rejina Upreti, and Richa Ghimire gathered in an event organized at Arunima Lamsal‘s home in Kapan Kathmandu. They also invited another pregnant actress Sanchita Luitel in the ceremony.
What makes this event special is that, these five actresses, who are considered to be rivals in Nepali movie industry, have tried to prove everybody wrong by gathering in a place to celebrate the happiness of two of their colleagues.

Movie Awards in Nepali Film Industry and NEFTA Film Awards
When we see a couple of movies being released in Nepal almost every weeks, we get a feeling that the Nepali film industry is a successful industry. Every actor/actress seem very busy in one shooting or the other. The film personalities are busy in a number of events including movie launch, music launch, premiere shows, foreign shows and so on. Question arises – can the ‘book’ (film industry) be judged by its cover (all the hypes)?
Movie awards is another aspect the industry has progressed a lot. In the last two years, we have seen a huge increase in the number of Nepali Film Awards. Different organizations and associations are organizing such film awards without any coordination with each other. A few years back in the history, there were only music awards and there were nothing like movie awards. Now, the situation has reversed and there are more movie award ceremonies than music award events.

Movie Review – Bato Muni Ko Phool – deserving movie made a victim
Nepali feature film Bato Muni Ko Phul was released on 29 November 2010 all over Nepal. Bato Muni Ko Phul features Nepali singers Yash Kumar and Babu Bogati along with actresses Rekha Thapa and Nandita KC. 
In this movie, Yash Kumar has attempted to show the problem faced by the lower caste people in our society. The movie had done the justice in all aspects. Although, this movie is not hundred percent perfect and a lot of negative aspects can be found in this movie, the presentation and the story of the movie are very good. In the context to Nepali film industry and Nepali society, the movie is can be considered a to have a good impact in the society.
As usual, after watching Bato Muni Ko Phul, I went through all the reviews published on daily newspapers, websites, and other Medias. Most of the reviews are positive and everyone had appreciated the movie.
