Hotter than Sunny Leone, Anmol’s actress Aditi Budhathoki featured in ABP News, India

A popular Hindi news channel’s online edition, ABP News, has featured Nepali actress Aditi Budhathoki and has termed her “hotter than” Bollywood sensation Sunny Leone. Featuring some of the hottest photos of the actress’s photos the website has told that she has a lot of potential although Bollywood doesn’t have any shortage of boldness.

In one of the photos the Indian media writes, “Actresses like Sunny Leone set fire in Bollywood. But, today we are going to introduce yo to a heroine who can beat the Bollywood beauty easily,” and it adds, “Yes, we are talking about Nepali actress Aditi Budhathoki.”

The news website that started as Star News in 2004, was rebranded ABP News in 2012. But, like all other Indian news website, the information it has given about Aditi is incomplete. It says that Aditi is featured in a number of Nepali movies. But in fact, Aditi’s debut movie ‘Kri’ featuring Anmol KC hasn’t released yet. The shooting of the movie is still going on and is expected to complete in a couple of weeks.

First Beauty contest with Swimsuit round in Nepal, Miss Kathmandu 2017

A beauty contest has broken the unwritten rule in Nepali entertainment industry – no swimsuit or bikini round in beauty contest. The contest titled Miss Kathmandu organized a swimsuit round for Miss Best Figure title. The photos and the details of the contest was however kept a secret among the organizers and the contestant. The only photo I could find of the contest is the one published in Kantipur’s Saptahik. The Facebook page of the contest doesn’t even mention the Best Figure contest.

Shristi Shrestha denied Bollywood debut rumour, did Priyanka Karki steal her role?

There was a rumour about Miss Nepal 2012, Shristi Shrestha, to debut in a Bollywood movie. The rumour was about her role in a movie titled ‘Sandeep Aur Pinki Farar’, planned to be shot in Nepal and made under Yashraj Banner. But, the actress has denied the rumour and has told that it was a false information. In the Facebook she wrote, “Information might be power but disinformation is abuse of the power.”

According to report, Shristi had gone to Mumbai for the audition of the movie. She left the shooting of ‘Romeo and Muna’ in East Nepal to go to Mumbai. But, before the production banner made the decision of the audition, the rumour was released in media. The actress was stressed out when she received numerous congratulatory messages. She finally wrote a message that the news of her debuting in Bollywood was false. She wrote, “Dear supporters, I would like to inform you all that the recent news stating that I am debuting in Indian cinema right now is false. Please do not misled or misinformed.”

Although Shristi has told it to be false, some believe that she has already landed in the role in the Bollywood movie.

How Gyanendra is left alone in election?

Although Gyanendra had told that he was ready to take the leadership role, she hasn’t shown any sign of leadership. A leader is a person who consolidate people in a group and motivate it to follow him/her. But, Gyanendra isn’t seen doing that. It seems, he is doing the opposite. The party that supported him, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, got divided into two parties. One of them joined the ruling party, Nepali Congress and is running election in association with the party. Nepali Congress is one of the main force that had ended monarchy in Nepal.

The Miss Earth Nepal 2017, Rojina Shrestha, is currently participating Miss Earth beauty contest held in Philippines. The first runner up of Miss Nepal 2017 went to Philippines on October 7 and is preparing herself for the finale to be held on November 4. As a part of the contest, Shrestha posed in two-piece bikini recently. Here are some of the photos of the Nepali model in the contest.

The bikini round of the contest was held during the press presentation held at Diamond Hotel. Although Miss World, has removed bikini rounds a few years ago, Miss Earth continues to include bikini round it its competition.

Congratulation Neeta Dhungana, Wins an Intl award in the USA

For her role in upcoming movie ‘Panchayat’ actress Neeta Dhungana was awarded the Best Leading Actress Award in an international film festival. In the festival held in San Francisco, California, Neeta was awarded the award in Foreign Film category. The film festival titled San Francisco International New Concept Film Festival was held in California starting October 25 and concluded on October 29. Actresses Neeta Dhungana and Nandita KC had participated in the festival along with the ‘Panchayat’ team had represented Nepal.

My congratulation to Neeta for the honour in USA.

Neeta is featured as a young girl in the movie set in a time about 50-years ago. The movie directed by Shivam Adhikari is scheduled to release on Falgun 17. In the movie with Neeta other actors include Saroj Khanal, Rupa Rana, Geeta Adhikari etc. Tanka Budhathoki has composed the songs of the movie and Rameshowr Karki is the cinematographer of the movie.

Too cheap; What is the rate of a Nepali actress?

Nepali actresses come very cheap when compared to their male counterparts. The actress Rekha Thapa, who claims to be equivalent to a male actress, and always works in female-centric movies, is paid less than most of the male actors. Rekha’s rate is Rs. 5 lakh. Actor Anmol KC is paid about five times that amount. Another actor Pradeep Khadka is also paid more than four times that amount. In Rekha’s last movie, she also paid her co-star, Aryan Sigdel, 3 times the amount she expects others to pay her.

Is it a female dominance or a discrimination? Are the actresses not demanding their worth?

Is that a NO to free promotion? Priyanka Karki went India to meet Ayushman

Priyanka Karki’s next movie ‘Fateko Jutta’ is releasing this week. But, instead of promoting the movie she has gone to India to be with her boyfriend.

There are a few facts about Nepali film artists and the films before I enter into topic:

  • Every artists wants their film to succeed.
  • Most of the artists are paid to act/work in the film.
  • Every artists set aside time for the shooting according to scheduled.

But, when it comes to promotion:

  • Some artists don’t set aside any time for the promotion and have schedule clashes.
  • Some make lame excuses of being busy or sick.
  • Some don’t respond to producers’ phone and invitation to promotional events.

Why what that? I think, there are at least two reasons the artists are not eager to go in the promotion of the movie. One – they are convinced that the movie will be successful and two – they are not paid for the time they spend for the promotion.

Are you scared of Sunakesari poster? Reecha Sharma tries something new

Actress Reecha Sharma has produced her second movie titled ‘Sunakesari’ despite the failure of her first one. Richa’s production debut ‘Aadha Love’ was a disaster. In her second movie, Richa has diverted her focus – first was love-themed movie and the second is a horror-themed movie.

The theme of her second movie is scary in itself because, no Nepali movie in that theme has ever succeeded in attracting Nepali viewers to theatre. At the time when all scary Nepali movies have failed, Reecha is believed to have taken a huge risk with the Arpan Thapa directed movie.

The movie ‘Sunkeshra’ is mostly shot in an ancient castle in Australia, built in 1888. Reecha says that the movie will excite and entertain Nepali viewers by providing a rare and exciting experience. The poster says it all :

Whether the movie becomes a success or not, it sure is a new experiment and will add a brick in the development of the Nepali film industry and offers a new taste for the Nepali film viewers.

Biography of Aditi Budhathoki, Kri actress

The new actress of upcoming movie ‘Kri’ who is going to be featured opposite to Anmol KC, Aditi Budhathoki, is a well known model. She has been popular in social media for her bold and attractive photos. She regularly posts bold photos in Facebook and Instagram. The owner of a hot body lives in Mumbai and is working in various assignments in India. She is also trying her luck in Bollywood. But, before she could land in a role in Hindi movie, she decided to accept the proposal to work with the youth’s sensation, Anmol KC.

Although ‘Kri’ was scheduled to release in Tihar, the release was delayed for an unknown reason. It is suspected that ‘Chhakka Panja 2’ team might have influenced in delaying the release. Chhabi Raj Ojha’s movie ‘Mangalam’ was delayed on the request of Deepak Raj Giri. At the time of this writing one of the producers, Bhuwan KC, and his son lead actor Anmol KC are currently in the USA and there is no sign of release preparation. But, Aditi’s popularity is in increasing trend.

Who is Aditi Budhathoki?

Aditi is originally from Damak, Jhapa and the current permanent address is Sinamangal, Kathmandu. She however mostly lives in Mumbai, India. She hasn’t revealed her exact age but, she celebrates her birthday on June 28. (According to NepaliActress she turned 25 in 2017) A student of Bachelors in Information Technology, Aditi prefers to identify herself as a fashion blogger and a fashion model. After the release of ‘Kri’ she would be an actress too. Although she was seen in a few Indian music videos, she is yet to be featured in a feature movie.

Keki, a new actress in the producer bandwagon, announced Kohalpur Express

Another actress has announced a movie, Keki Adhikari. In a program held in Kathmanu on October 23, 2017 actress Keki Adhikari formally announced a new movie titled ‘Kohalpur Express’. The actress who debuted in Nepali film industry in ‘Swor’, was better known as a music video model before that. The movie is being directed by a music video director, Bishal Bhandari. The movie is made under Keki’s home production house Junkiri Arts.

The movie going to the floor on Kartik 13 will feature Keki in the leading role. In addition to Keki the movie will also feature Priyanka Karki, Richa Sharma, Binod Neupane, Buddhi Tamang, Rabindra Jha and other actors. The movie features the music of Rajanraj Siwakoti, Arjun Pokharel and Kali Prasad Baskota. The whole movie is being shot in Banke district.

While talking about the movie Keki told, “I have always wanted to produce a movie since I understood movie industry. A dream is fulfilled by ‘Kohalpur Express’.” In addition to Keki Adhikari the producers of the movie are Bhadra Bahadur Shahi, Devilal Neupane Pandit and Shiva Prasad Chaulagi. The movie is being made on the story of Shan Basnayt, cinematography of Arjun Tiwari, editing of Lokesh Bajracharya, and choreography of Gambhir Bista. The movie is about three young girls played by Keki, Priyanka and Richa. Richa wasn’t present in the event because of her health.

Producer actresses in Nepali film industry

Almost all the successful actresses in the Nepali film industry try their luck by producing movies. But, only a few had been successful. When talking about successful producers who are also actresses of the Nepali movies – only a couple of names comes in my mind – Rekha Thapa and Deepa Shree Niraula. Another actress, Jharana Thapa, can also be named one but, her husband is the real producer of her movies. Rekha has been a producer of some of her recent movies although she started under her ex-husband, Chhabi Raj Ojha. Although her success rate has declined in recent years, she is the only successful actress/producer of the Nepali film industry.

I have been sharing Tihar photos of Nepali celebrities for the last few years. Last year, I had shared 20 photos of celebrating Tihar. This year I wanted to continue the tradition by posting 20 more photos this year. I haven’t repeated the same celebrities but, most of them are the same every year. Although Bhai Tika is celebrated with brothers and sisters, they don’t need to be biological siblings. Those who don’t have their own siblings, or those who are separated because of living at different place, find one of their liking and make a temporary brother or sister for the festival.

Anmol KC is currently in the USA. He celebrated Tihar with his step-sister, Kajal KC in the USA. Kajal, her mother, Bijaya KC and her brother live in the USA. Bhuwan’s home production Kajal Films is named after Kajal KC.

Namrata Shrestha #Selrotichallenge for Breast Cancer Awareness

Nepali actress Namrata Shrestha has started a challenge for the Tihar – to cook sel roti and create breast cancer awareness. In her social media posts, she had shared a video telling others to upload the videos of themselves making selroti in Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Namrata writes, breast cancer being the most commonly diagnosed cancer amongst women and regular check ups help in fighting it better. She has also shared the contact information of Nepal Cancer Hospital for donations.
