Who is Raj Ballav Koirala’s future wife, Pratima Bimali ?

Well known actor and media personality Raj Ballav Koirala is engaged in USA on Sunday. In a program held in his residence, Raj Ballav and Pratima Bimali offered engagement rings to each other. Both Raj Ballav and Pratima live in the USA and they were having affair for a long time.

In his Facebook post, Raj Ballav has confirm the engagement, by telling he is not available anymore. He wrote, “Got Engaged. (Is officially off the market lol.)” and shared a couple of photos of the two. US resident director, Suresh Darpan Pokharel has shared some photos of the engagement in his Facebook.

Although the engagement ceremony was held and they have decided to get married, the marriage date is yet to be finalized.

Namrata Shrestha comeback in theatre, in a US play, Golden Boy

Actress Namrata Shrestha is one of the most successful actress in the Nepali film industry. In addition to films, she had also acted in a couple of theatre plays. About three years ago she had impressed the viwers by a play named ‘Yarma’. Now, she is also doing another play titled ‘Golden Boy’. The play is the Nepali version of a well known play by a US director Deborah Merola. A Hollywood movie by the same name was also made in 1969 based on the story.

In addition to Namrata, the play features Rajkumar Pudasaini and Saroj Aryal. A US theatre actor will also be featured in the play.

Anmol KC sings a song in the USA

The second generation superstar of the Nepali film industry, Anmol KC, is currently in the USA. He has recently completed the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Kri’ and is enjoying his time with is family in the USA. Actor Sunil Thapa has shared a video of Anmol KC in which he playing a guitar and is singing a song.

The son of superstar Bhuwan KC, Anmol KC, is the son of his second wife. With his first wife, Bijaya KC, Bhuwan had a son and a daughter. Bijaya lives with her children in the USA. Bhuwan had also named his production company after his daughter with Bijaya, Kajal KC.

After the relationship with Bijaya didn’t go well, Bhuwan married his second wife Sushmita KC. With Sushmita he has his third child, Anmol KC.

Award Joke – Anmol KC and Keki win best actors awards in the USA

Another Nepali film award was held in the USA – titled Global Nepali Film Award. It was the second edition of the award. Like other awards held in Europe and USA, many film artists were denied visa. Those who had previous visa to the USA and those who got visa this year participated and won the awards. Such award winning actors include Anmol KC who got the visa this time. Actor Dayahang Rai and others were denied visa and didn’t become “best actors”. Similarly, actress Keki Adhikari was awarded Best Actress for her role in ‘Love Sasha’.

‘Chhakka Panja’ was awarded the Best Film award. Actress and director Deepa Shree Niraula became the best director for the movie. Actor Tika Pahadi was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Others awarded the Achievement Awards include Arjun Jung Shahi and Suwarna Chhetri.

Does Aishwarya actress looks like Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor?

The actress debuting in Ramesh Upreti’s comeback movie ‘Aishwarya’, Deepika Prasai, says that she looks like well known Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor. In a program held a few days ago,a song of the movie was released. The song titled ‘Timi Royeko Pal’ features Deepika with actor Ramesh Upreti. The song and the couple are liked in the video.

Talking to an online magazine, Deepika told, “People had been telling me that I look like Sonam Kapoor.”

Prasai recalls,”It was when I was in grade 8 a few guys teased me by calling ‘Sonam … Sonam’. I thought they were talking about somebody else. But, later I found out that I looked like Sonam Kapoor. I think this is a very good compliment. But, I see myself as Deepika Prasai and nobody else.”

Anmol KC Kri Looks, 5 photos

The shooting of the upcoming movie of Anmol KC, ‘Kri’ is still going on. The movie that got the media attention since its first announcement, has been in the headlines despite of the secrecy surrounding the movie. In the first look poster, Anmol is shown to be featured in action role, a sharp contrast to his lover-boy avatar in his previous movies. Anmol had built body and had kept his looks secret by staying away from the media since the announcement of the movie. I had prepared a video report with an exclusive preview of Anmol KC’s body:

After the release of first look, the curiosity towards the movie and the actor has risen among the Nepali movie lovers. As Anmol is surrounded by his bodyguards and he is not allowed to be photographed by the media, his looks and some of the closely guarded releases are the only photos available now. Namrata signs Summer Love, leaves Shweta’s Kanchhi

The ‘Chhakka Panja’ actress, Namrata Sapkota, has signed in ‘Summer Love’. The movie to be made on the story of the popular novel by Subin Bhattarai, by the same name is being directed by Muskan Dhakal. In the movie, Namrata will be featured in the character of Sushmita. The lead actors of the movie were previously announced. The lead actors are new entry in the Nepali film industry – Rewati Chhetri and Aashish Piya.

Namrata had previously signed in ‘Kanchhi’, the Shweta Khadka comeback movie. But, the movie was delayed because of Shweta’s social work to build houses for earthquake victim Majhi people. When the shooting schedule of ‘Summer Love’ clashed with that of ‘Kanchhi’, Namrata decided to leave it and work in ‘Summer Love’ instead.

The artists of the movie are currently working in workshop. The movie is being produced under Nightingale Entertainment.

The director, Muskan Dhakal had worked as the assistant of Bikash Acharya when directing the ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ sequels. He had also directed one of the sequels. Initially Bikash Acharya was supposed to produce the movie but later, Acharya decided not to invest in the movie. Acharya became the executive producer of the sequel of ‘Chhakka Panja’ instead.

LG Film Award 2017 winners, Jatra becomes best movie

A new award LG Cine Circle Award 2017 was held in Kathmandu on August 7, Monday in the Army Officers Club, Sundhara. In the award ceremony ‘Jatra’ was awarded the bst movie of the year. In the award ceremony awards in 22 different categories were awarded.

In the ceremony, action director NB Maharjna was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award worth Rs. 51,000. The deputy president Nanda Bahadur Pun was the chief guest of the ceremony. The ‘Maitighar’ film unit, comprising of actor CP Lohani and Mala Sinha were also honoured during the ceremony. Lohani and Sinha had come to Nepal to attend the ceremony.

Nikhil Upreti builds body, to romance with his sister-in-law

The action star of upcoming movie Commitment 60 hours, Nikhil Upreti has build his body for the movie. The movie being produced and directed by Nikhil is expected to cost around Rs. 30 Million and feature a number of Bollywood actor.

The movie is being made under the investment of an Indian film production house. For the movie, Nikhil is going skydive as a part of the shooting. Although some footages of his actual jump from a plane is shot in real time, there will also be the simulation of skydiving in the movie.

For the movie, Nikhil is currently working hard to build his body. He has been trying to build his body suitable to be shown in the movie. Few photos of Nikhil in new looks are being shared in social media.

What happened to Sharon Shrestha harassment accusation against Sunil Rawal ?

The actress of Sunil Rawal’s only flop film ‘Sayaad 2’, Sharon Shrestha has accused the producer of harassment during shooting of the movie.

Some of Sharon’s accusations:

  • Sunil Rawal was very touchy. He used to touch the actresses, touch their hands and tried to hug them.
  • He forced them to drink wine in his birthday in Pokhara during the shooting of ‘Saayad 2’.
  • Sunil held and carried two ‘Saayad 2’ actresses during the birthday celebration.
  • Sunil used to whisper in ear and kiss her in the ear.
  • Sunil had proposed her to be his girlfriend. In return, he promised to help her become the air hostess at Simrik Air.

But, after that, Sharon and Sunil Rawal reached in an undisclosed agreement and have agreed not to talk about the issue anymore. In the agreement, neither of the party have told anything about the things they had told in the past.

Does that mean, Sharon was true in all of her statement?

Why Rekha’s face is hidden in Rudra Priya first look poster?

The first look poster of upcoming Rekha Thapa movie, ‘Rudrapriya’ was released recently. In all the posters of the movie, half portion of actress Rekha Thapa is hidden by the hem of her Saree.

The poster of the movie made under Rekha Films banner is different from the posters of previous Rekha Films banner movies. The colour and the presentation style is quite different. There is a possibility that the different looks is becasue of the director, Sudip Bhupal Singh and his concept.

In one of the posters, Rekha Thapa is holding the hand of Aryan Sigdel. Half portion of Rekha’s face is hidden. In another poster Rekha and Aryan are facing different directions. Rekha’s has clinched fist and a determined look. Only half portion of Rekha’s face is visible in this poster too.

What did Pooja Sharma say about Bhuwan KC and Anmol KC?

Actress Pooja Sharma talked about actor Bhuwan KC and Anmol KC in one of her interviews. But, when the interview was published, a misleading title was published causing the mother of Anmol KC, Sushmita KC to express her dissatisfaction.

Here is the screenshot of what went around in the internet.

Sushmita seems to be in a hurry to respond to things. It was not the first time she has done so. She had expressed her anger against a journalist at the time of the release of her movie. The she also wrote hate words against Bhuwan KC a while ago. Now, she is defending Bhuwan KC.

The title of course is misleading, and it makes sense when Sushmita responded by the following statement:

It’s official, Nigam Shrestha is kicked out of Laure (Shristi’s accident mysterious)

Now, it is official, the director of upcoming movie ‘Laure’ is kicked out of the project towards the end of the shooting. The director Nigam Shrestha was removed by the production team, Durgesh Films, when the shooting is in its last stage.

According to reports, 70 percent shooting of the movie is completed by Nigam Shrstha. The owner of Durgesh Films, Sunil Rawal, is known for is bad relationship with his crew members. Now, the new director of the movie will be Bikram Singh. Bikram Singh is one of the artists in the movie and he is also the script writer of the movie.

The producer and the director of the movie haven’t told the reason behind the change in the crew member. Sunil Rawal has told that he doesn’t want to talk about the issue and the director Shrestha couldn’t be contacted. According to rumours, Nigam had shown bad behaviour toward one of the team members. The nature and the level of bad behaviour is not known.

Comedy actor and the writer/producer of ‘Chha Ekan Chha’, ‘Woda Number 6’ and ‘Chhakka Panja’, Deepak Raj Giri, got a new daughter-in-law, Mira Gyawali. His son Dipesh Raj Giri got married in a private family function. A few close friends and families were invited to the wedding.

Well known actor of the past, Krishna Malla, and his wife, also a well known actress of the past, Sharmila Malla also got a daughter-in-law this week. Their only child Sakriya Malla got married in a private function. A number of film industry personalities were invited in the reception party held after the marriage.
