Mistake charity shows to be held in Singapore and Malaysia to help earthquake victims

A premier show of upcoming movie ‘Mistake’ is being held in Malaysia and Singapore to help earthquake victims. The shows will be held in two locations in Malaysia and one location in Singapore.

The movie released in November of 2014 had an average performance in theater.

A presentation of RB movies, ‘Mistake’ is a movie produced by Bishnu Atharai and made on the story and direction of Rishi Raj Acharya. The movie veatures Nirmal Century, Harshika Shreshta, Sushant Karki, Shree Raj Acharya, Rama Singh and others. The charity shows are being organized by E4 Entertainment.

Aavash to release again on June 19

After the release of ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ to help earthquake victims, another movie by producer Gobinda Shahi is also releasing again. The movie previously released on January 9, ‘Aavash’ is releasing again on June 19 (Friday, Ashad 4).

The movie directed by Surendra Poudel, ‘Aavash’ features Samyam Puri, Nisha Adhikari, Ashma DC and Salon Basnet in leading roles. Shahi has told that the proceeds of the the movie show will be spent in the building earthquake damaged buildings in remote Nepal. Shahi told that the movie was successful at the time of its initial release.

Saroj Khanal arrives in Nepal with his wife Suryamala Sharma

Saroj Khanal has arrived in Nepal with his wife, Suryamala Sharma, and younger son on June 11, Thursday. His elder son didn’t join his parents as he is serving in the US Army for the next seven years.

After living 17 years in the USA Nepali actor Saroj Khanal has flown back to Nepal to permanently live and work in his birthplace on July 9, 2015. A group of Nepali had gathered at the airport in Virginia to see him off. Before boarding the flight, Saroj told that he is planning to continue acting and work in social sector.

Saroj Khanal has recently constructed a house in Baluwatar, Kathmandu. Although he had frequently visited Nepal in the past in short-term duration, this is told to be a permanent move. In reports, he has also sold the house and car in the USA.

Resham Filili actor Vinay Shrestha found a girlfriend in UK

The ‘Resham Filili’ lead actor Vinay Shrestha has shared a photo with his girlfriend in his Facebook profile. The photo with the comment, “Defying my career’s demandâ€¦” has Aney Thapa tagged in it. Aney has responded by sharing the photo as her profile picture.

Vinay’s girlfriend Aney Thapa is currently studying in UK.Â Aney had recently visited Nepal. During her return, Vinay had gone to the airport to see her off.

Rajesh Hamal 51st birthday, does he still miss Mania Suchikar?

Rajesh Hamal turned 51 years-old on June 9. In Nepali calender, his birthday is on Jestha 27 but, he celebrates his birthday according to the western calendar. On his birthday, Rajesh didn’t have any celebration plans. On his Facebook, he has shared a last year’s photo of his birthday celebration. In fact, Rajesh hasn’t properly celebrated his birthday since the death of his foster sister in 2012.

In the past, Rajesh used to go to Khagendra Navajiwan Kendra to celebrate his birthday. He had a foster-sister, Maina Suchikar, with whom he used to celebrate his birthday. After that he didn’t celebrate birthday until the 50th Golden Jubilee birthday celebrations in Australia.

Singer Rajina Rimal marries Shrestha Tailoring owner

Popular playback singer Rajina Rimal has married Binod Shrestha in an event in Kathmandu. The marriage between the owner of Shrestha Tailoring and the singer was performed according to Hindi rituals.

Rajina is the singer of the title song of the popular movie â€˜Nai Nabhannu Laâ€™ (watch ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ here and watch ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’ here). In addition to playback singing, Rajina is also popular in singing non-playback popular songs.

Actress Harshika Shrestha marries an Indian businessman

In a surprise event on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, actress Harshika Shrestha has married an Indian businessman, Prasun Jhunjhunwala. The marriage ceremony was held at Royal Banquet in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

Because of the marriage between two different community, they are planning to perform the ceremony in both Nepal and India. From groomâ€™s side pnly the parents and the brother were present and limited family members were present in brideâ€™s side. A reception party was held in the evening.

Jackie Chan in Nepal to help earthquake victims

World renowned action star Jackie Chan has arrived in Nepal to help the earthquake victims. Chan arrived throught an Air China flight and is living in Hotel Soltaee.

Saroj Khanal returning back to Nepal after 17 years in the USA

Talented actor of the past, Saroj Khanal, is returning back to Nepal after living in the USA for the last 17 years. Saroj had entered USA in 1997 to participate in a cultural program. He started living there and applied for the Green Card. He had left a thriving acting career to make a better living in the USA. Now, he admits that the life wasnâ€™t that good and he had always missed Nepal and Nepali people.

Premier show of Teacher, Rs. 50K for Maiti Nepal

The premier show of Shovit Basnet’s upcoming movie ‘Teacher was held in Kathmandu on June 5. A The film production team handed over Rs. 50,000 cash to Anuradha Koirala of Maiti Nepal during the premier show. The money will be med in the purchase of earthquake relief materials in Nuwakot.

The chief guest of the event was CPN-UML leader Ram Narazan Bidari . Various artists, journalists and other people were present in the ceremony.

The film artists and the politicians have teamed up to help the earthquake victims on SaturdayÂ June 6, 2015. In the friendly football match held of the playground of armed police in Halchock, Kathmandu, the leader team lost by 3:0 to the film artists team.

The president Ram Baran Yadav had inaugurated the game. The politician team had the Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, Prachanda, KP Oli, Baburam Bhattarai, Jhala Nath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and a lot of other leaders.

To support the earthquake victims, the political leaders including the president Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala are competing against the film artists in a football game to he held at 2:00 PM at Halchowk, Katmandu.

Almost all the major political leaders and most of the film artists are participating in the friendly game. The fund collected at the of again will be used in the relief work of earthquake victims. The game is being held at the play ground of the armed police in Halchowk.

Government selects Rajkumar Rai to head Film Development Board

Nepal government has selected the president of the Nepal Film Producer association to head Film Development Board (FDB), the government regulatory body of Nepali movies. The government took a few months to decide on the new leader after the end of the tenure of previous chief, Dharmendra Kumar Marbaita.

Raj Kumar was appointed by the cabinet meeting held on Friday, June 5. After the appointment Rai has thanked the government and told that he will work in the betterment of the entire film industry. He added, “I am very excited to take the new responsibility.”

The movie ‘Aadhi Bato’ was released a year ago on April of 2014. The music jukebox of the movie was posted earlier in xnepali. Some of the shooting of the movie was done in the UK. Jenisha KC’s UK visit for the shooting of the movie had caused some rumour between the actress and the producer of the movie, Ramesh Twayna. In response to the rumour, Jenisha refused any affair and had to tell that she has an unknown Russian boyfriend.
