The trailer of Chhabi Raj Films’ movie ‘Lazza’ was released few days after the release of trailer of Rekha Films’ movie ‘Himmatwali’. Although they are not directly competing with each other, Chhabi Raj Ojha and Rekha Thapa have been indirect rivals after their divorce.
We compared two trailers and found that they are quite different trailers. We want to leave the decision to you to conclude which one seems like a better movie.
‘Ajambari Nata’ is a presentation of Shyma Sundar Khetan for Rekha Films. The movie is made on the story of producer Chhabi Raj Ojha. Maunata Shrestha has written the script and dialogue of the movie. Actress Neeta Dhungana is featured as a child artist in the movie.
The movie of late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha, ‘Kohinoor’ saw a rare success of Nepali movies. The viewers have been visiting the theaters to pay tribute to Shree. In a new record, after 1 week of release, the movie grossed Rs. 9.7 million on a single day. The record made on Saturday is considered a new record in Nepali movie industry. So far, the movie has made Rs. 34.1 million.

Almost all of the theaters featuring the movie are houseful and many have returned back when they couldn’t get the ticket to watch the movie. Many of the viewers have told that they are watching the movie to pay tribute to the actor.
Nepali movie ‘Tribeni’ is produced by Raj Kumar Rai for RC Pictures. Ex-Miss Nepal Jharana Bajracharya is also featured in the movie in leading role with Melina. The movie features the background score of Sanjaya Shrestha, story of Chuida Gurung, script/dialogue of Amar Rasaili, action of Ram – Janak, choreography of Kamal Rai, music of Mahesh Khadka, editing of Rara Thapa ‘Kimbhe’, cinematography of Shiva Kishor Dhakal.
The trailer of Rekha Film’s upcoming movie ‘Himmatwali’ has been released online. In the movie, Rekha Thapa has romanced with the amputee actor Sudarshan Gautam. Rekha and Sudarshan have romanced in the movie and have also publicly admitted that they love each other in real life. The movie marks the debut of Sudarshan as an actor, debut of Rekha as a director, use of camel for the first time in Nepali movie and so on. The success or the failure of the movie would determine the future of Rakha as a director and producer.
After the release of songs of the movie, Rekha as decided to release the trailer. Although the tune of the first release ‘Kali timro nazarle …’ was liked by the audience, the choreography had failed the expectations. Other songs faired average. It is no secret that Rekha’s ex-husband Chhabi Raj Ojha had established Rekha is Nepali film industry. The fact if she could fly alone or not will be determined by ‘Himmatwali’.
The gangster Dinesh Adhikari ‘Chari’ girlfriend, Miss Teen 2006, Khusbu Oli has been quite vocal after the death of her boyfriend. She had accused her ex-boyfriend Arpan Koirala of influencing the police in the killing of the so-called don.
Talking to Kantipur’s Saptahik Weekly, Khusbu told that she has a lot of secrets of Arpan and his relationship with criminals. She also mentioned D Company, a notorious criminal organization of Daud Ibrahim. She told Arpan has criminal mind. She had also released some of Arpan’s messages to prove that he was behind the killing of ‘Chari’.
‘Dulaha Raja Dulahi Rani’ is the fifth movie of Tripura Sundari Entertainment Cine Arts (TICA). The movie is written and produced by the director Yuvraj Lama.
In a media report first runner up of Miss Nepal 2010, and Miss Nepal Earth 2010 Sahana Bajracharya, was accused of having sex in a car with her coworker at Kantipur TV, Suraj Giri. In a report published in ‘Sanghu’ Weekly, police officer in Chitwan was cited as the news source. But, Sahana and Suraj have jointly released a statement that the information published in the newspaper is baseless and it was aimed to defame their character.
Posting the statement, Sahana wrote, "This is my and friend Suraj Giri’s official press statement. I am agitated and very hurt about the baseless reports that went viral yesterday! Most media went on to over-publicize it without following even the basics of media ethics. If the police caught us, couldn’t anyone at least ask the police about what happened?"
Two celebrities lost their sweethearts in the last week. Model and Miss Teen 2006 Khusbu Oli lost her don boyfriend Dinesh Adhikari ‘Chari’ and actress Sweta Khadka lost her actor husband of a month, Shree Krishna Shrestha. Both were sad after the death of their sweetheart but, the magnitude of sadness in them is quite different.

Khusbu’s anger has over taken the sadness and she she was fighting for the ‘injustice’. Sweta in the other hand was helpless and had to accept the fate.
‘Luck’ is written by the director Rishi Neupane himself. The movie was criticized for the double meaning item dance ‘Dekhai dinchhu sabai kura paisa tire pachhi …’.
State honor was offered to late Shree Krishna Shrestha before cremating at Pashupati. The body of Shree was covered in the national flag of Nepal and a team of Nepal Police offered salute to the actor.
The representative of Nepal Government, communication minister Minendra Rijal covered the body of Shree Krishna by the National flag of Nepal before Shree’s brother ignited the body.
UPDATE – Suraj and Sahana Bajracharya have released a joint statement telling that this report is not true.
Kantipur VJ duo Sahana Bajracharya and Suraj Giri were reportedly found interlocked inside Suraj’s private car in Chitwan. According to a report in Sanghu weekly, they were having fun in the car at around 3:00 AM when police spotted the shaking car. When they looked inside, they found Sahana and Suraj in near naked state.
When Sahana and Suraj told that they were Kantipur journalists, the police left them alone. The police officers had reportedly called the news chief Tirtha Koirala and Bhushan Dahal to confirm they were journalists.
UPDATE: Film Development Board of Nepal has released a press statement detailing the full program (attached at the end of the post). According to the letter, the body will arrive at 1 PM and it will be kept at Pragya Bhawan till 5:30 PM before taking it to Arya Ghat.

The body of actor Shree Krishna Shrestha is arriving in Kathmandu at 2 PM on August 11, 2014. The government is planning a honor ceremony and a procession from the airport to Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi. He will be kept there for three hours before taking to Arya Ghat, Pashupati for the cremation at around 5 PM. The prime minister Sushil Koirala is also scheduled to offer the last good bye to Shree.
In another report, Shree Krishna had reportedly told Sweta and his elder brother Min Krishna not to take his dead body back to Nepal. He didn’t want to give pain to his 82-years-old mother and his fans by showing his dead body. But, his family and friends have decided to bring him home so that his fans and family can say the last good bye.
In a latest report, Shree Krishna Shrestha is told to have died of bone cancer. According to the director Aakash Adhikari, Shree Krishna died at 11:00 PM on Saturday August 9, 2014 in Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. The news of the death was only announced at around 5 AM on Sunday.
Soon after the marriage of Shree Krishna and Sweta Khadka on Ashad 23 (July 7) they left for honeymoon. Initially, Shree was suffering from dry cough. He didn’t look that healthy and had lost some weight at the time of the marriage. In hospital he was diagnosed with deep pneumonia. Bone cancer is reportedly diagnosed a week before the death.
Because of the serious illness, Sweta and Shree Krishna couldn’t participate in the promotion of their movie ‘Kohinoor’. In a press meet held last month, the director of the movie, Aakash Adhikari had almost cried while talking about the actor. In a message sent from the hospital bed, Shree Krishna had told that he will be back soon. The movie ‘Kohinoor’ was released on this Friday.
