One more marriage this moth, actress Sweta Bhattarai has secretly married a businessman, Milan Sapkota. There was no news bout the marriage of the two in media until Milan shared their photo in Facebook.
The photos was shared on July 6 and Milan had also shared some photos of some puja a day earlier. Based on the photos we can guess that the marriage was held on July 5th.
After fully recovering fro a severe heart attack, actor and director Nir Shah has been discharged from the hospital. He was discharged on July 7 at around 5 PM local time. He had stayed in the hospital for the last 9 days after being unconscious after a heart attack. He was kept in a ventilator for 72 hours.
Nir Shah was very happy on the recovery. He told that it was ‘a rebirth’ and he will continue to contribute to the Nepali film industry.

Today is a special day in Nepali film industry. Four celebrities – Sweta Khadka is marrying Shree Krishna Shrestha and Diya Maskey is marrying Anup Baral in separate events on June 7, 2014.

27-years-old Sweta Khadka and 50-years-old Shree Krishna Shrestha met as the lead actors of Shree Krishna’s debut movie as a producer ‘Kaha Bhetiyala‘. Although everybody who knew them knew about their affair, they had denied the rumor and they still deny it. In a report, Sweta and Shree Krishna had formally engaged on the day another actor Rajesh Hamal was marrying Madhu Bhattarai. The marriage ceremony is off-limits to the media.
The ‘Himmatwali’ actor, Sudarshan Gautam, has done one more adventure, sky diving in the USA. Sudarshan has jumped from a height of 5,000 meters. Gautam is practicing for an adventure scheduled for March of 2016.
In his Facebook post, Sudarsha told, "I did it. Sky Diving above 5000 Meters high. One more encounter of my days as a practice for unbelievable adventure on 2016 of March." In the May of 2013, Sudharhan made a world record by being the first person without hands to climb the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest.
UPDATE: more photos and a photo slideshow video are added. It turned out, the engagement ceremony was in-fact marriage ceremony itself. The marriage was held in a room and the house wasn’t decorated from the outside. There was a family gathering in the evening. Mithila and Motilal also cut a wedding cake and fed each other during the ceremony. This was one of the many celebrity marriages of 2014.

Actress Mithila Sharma has finally married the former IGP Motilal Bohara. In an event held today, the new married couple also got the marriage certificate from the court.
On the marriage of his hair dresser Surendra Thakur, actor Rajesh Hamal chartered a helicopter to his remote village in Sarlahi. The marriage held on Ashad 20 became special when the superstar of the Nepali film industry arrived in a helicopter.
Thakur and the villagers were very happy to see the superstar in the village. Rajesh offered a garland and congratulated the groom and the bride. A huge crowd was gathered to see the superstar and the helicopter.
On the birthday of the child artist of ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’, Anubhav Regmi, the song recording of the third sequel of the movie has started. The shooting of the movie is expected to start in a couple of months.

‘Nai Nabhannu La 3’ will repeat Anubhav Regmi as a lead actor. Sugyani Bhattarai will be featured in opposite to Anubhav. The director of the previous two movies, Bikash Acharya, is not going to direct the third sequel. Bikash’s assistant in the previous movie, Muskan Dhakal, is going to direct the new movie. The movie is produced by Bikash Acharya and Dinesh Pokharel.
In a statement actress Rekha Thapa has told that she had asked the organizers to honor herself. When they refused, she became the only winner of National Film to boycott the ceremony at the President’s residence.
Actress Rekha Thapa has accused the organizers of the National Award, Film Development Board, of asking money for the award. In addition to that she has also questioned the capability of the judges and the choice of winners. Here is the summary of Rekha’s statement.

The National Film Award was held at the President’s residence, Shital Niwas. In the ceremony various awards were handed over to the movies released in the last four years.
After receiving the award of Best Actress for her role in ‘Masan’ Neeta Dhungana said, "National Award is not about nominations , popularity , lead role , or something its totally about the work that an artist does whether the artist has done side role or main role , 5 scenes or 50 scenes."
Comedy actor Sitaram Kattel, Dhurmus and actress Binita Baral (the Chapali Girl after her debut movie ‘Chapali Height‘) have been appointed the goodwill ambassador by Nepal Agriculture Journalists Academy (JONAA). The actor and actress have taken agriculture as their profession in the recent days.
The condition of Nir Shah hasn’t improved in more than a day of admitted in Gangalal Heart Hospital, Bansbari. According to sources, Shah was initially placed in a ventilator in CCU. The ventilator was later replaced by an oxygen mask. The attempt to remove oxygen mask however wasn’t successful and he is in critical condition. Yesterday, we reported it was a minor attack but later, it was known that that wasn’t the case.

According to the doctors attending Shah, they are waiting the situation to improve on its own and have let Shah remain unconscious. If it doesn’t improve in three days, further treatment will be conducted. Senior heart specialist Arun Maskey is helping the treatment of Shah.
Nepali actor, director, and a businessman Nir Shah has been admitted to hospital after a heart problem. Our sources have termed the heart problem as a ‘minor’ case.
He was admitted to Gangalal Heart Hospital in Kathmandu on June 28.
In January last year, Nir Shah announced retirement. We questioned his retirement at that time and as we expected he didn’t retire. He has recently completed the shooting of ‘Seto Bagh’ – a movie and a television serial simultaneously.
The ‘Tathastu’ director Shabir Shrestha celebrated his birthday at the sets of the movie. The movie currently on floor features actress Rekha Thapa in lead role. The lead actors Kishor Khatiwada, Subash Thapa, Rekha Thapa, director Samjhana Upreti Rauniar and journalists were present at the celebration.
The date of the marriage of the love-birds of the Nepali film industry, Shree Krishna Shrestha and Sweta Khadka, has been fixed to be held on July 7, 2014. That is almost a month after Shree Krishna and Sweta had confirmed the long-time rumor of their affair. Last year, the couple had hinted about the upcoming marriage but, it took almost a year before they fixed the date.
Shree Krishna debuted Sweta in his home production movie ‘Kaha Bhetiyala‘. The success of the movie paved way for the success of the love between them. They are also running a hotel business together and their second movie, ‘Kohinoor’ is also ready for the release.
