The central police office of Nepal Police has started an investigation on the use of the police uniforms in the shooting of ‘Himmatwali’ without seeking prior approval. According to a report, Rekha Thapa had failed to obtained a written approval before using any police uniforms.
In ‘Himmatwali’ businessman, Dinesh Bhandari is featured as a Police IGP and a journalist, Rajendra Nath, is featured as a Police DIG. The actors had posted their photos in uniform in Facebook.
Actor, director and producer Nir Shah‘s upcoming project ‘Seto Bagh’ is being shot in a shooting set in Naxal, Kathamndu. The movie made on the popular book by the same name by Diamond Shumsher Rana is a story of historical events.
The movie features Raja Ram Poudel in the role of the helper of Junga Bahadur and actor BS Rana has been featured in the role of the central character Junga Bahadur Rana. The shooting of the movie featuring a lot of new artist started at the end of February.
After being absent from the big screen movies for a long time, the comedy duo MaHa (Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya) is going to be featured in an upcoming movie titled ‘Gherabandi’. The comedy duo have agreed to do the role after going through the script prepared by by Shivam Adhikari. It was the result of a year-long effort of Shivam.
The song of upcoming movie ‘Hasiya’, shot on a set constructed by spending Rs. 1 million has released. The item dance featuring actress Hema Shrestha and Priyanka Karki is made on the voice of Shivani Moktan. ‘Aaja ko raatama …’ is written by Nilam Rai, music by Kalyan Singh.
The director Milan Chams says that the item song also feature action scenes as the movie is an action flick. Lead actress Hema is featured in action role in the movie. With Hema the movie also features Rajesh Hamal and Anup Bikram Shahi in main roles.
Two more actresses, Priyanka Karki and Ashishma Nakarmi have signed in the upcoming movie of Deepa Basnet, ‘Shree Panch Ambare’. Earlier, actress Keki Adhikari and actor Saugat Malla were finalized to lead in the movie.
All three actresses are considered the new actresses with potential in Nepali movie industry. All three actresses are the busiest actresses in the Nepali movie industry.

In a latest report, Shyam Bhattarai has told that there is a third person who is responsible in creating problem in the relationship between Rekha Thapa and himself. In report, Shyam and Rekha have patched up and have agreed not to express their dissatisfaction publicly.
According to a report in Merocinema, the disabled actor – Sudarshan Gautam is told to be involved in creating the issue between the producer and the director of the movie. The report says – Sudarshan has invested in the movie and he didn’t like Shyam Bhattarai so, he had asked Rekha to remove him. The website says that Rekha and Sudarshan are having an affair. Although Rekha is the official producer of the movie, Sudarshan has actually taken over all the production responsibility of the movie.
According to a report in an online magazine, Chhabi Raj Ojha is going to produce a movie titled ‘Hawaldar Suntali’. Chhabi is hopeful to feature his ex-wife Rekha Thapa in the leading role if she agrees. The movie to be made on an action story fits the character Rekha prefers to do in movies.
Chhabi has chosen Rishi Lamichane to direct the new movie. Rishi is told to be in good terms with Rekha, so he is talking with the actress about her role in the movie and mend relationship with Chhabi.
Some film makers have utilized the festival of colors to promote their movies. The movies promoted while playing holi include ‘Fitkiree’, ‘Shree Paanch Ambare’, ‘Adhi Bato’ and ‘November Rain’.

Actress Nandita KC is going to be featured in a double role in an upcoming movie of director Dashrath Giri. The movie by Om Dakshinkali Films ‘Kaifiyat’ was announced on March 13 in a press meet organized in Alfa House, Baneshwor.
In the program Nandita offered sweets to all the participants and told that the role is a bit different after a long time of her career in the film industry .She also promised to justify the role she is going to do. In addition to ‘Kaifiyat’, shooting of Nandita’s other movies ‘Babari’ and ‘Majhari’ are in pipeline.
Another movie of popular director Rishi Neupane, ‘Bramha’ is releasing this Friday, March 14, 2014. The movie featuring a new face, Bikram Chhetri, in leading role will also feature actress Ragini Khadgi in his opposite. Actress Anny Kunwar and Bikram Century are also featured in main roles in the movie.
The director Rishi is known for his previously popular movies like ‘Don’, ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Takkari Dui Mutuko‘, ‘Mero Rajesh Dai’ and ‘Luck’.
UPDATE: In an online report, Shyam Bhattarai has admitted that Rekha has wrongfully sent him home. He also told that Rekha had been planning it since the beginning and he didn’t know it until the last minute.

In a latest information xnepali has received, actress Rekha Thapa was planning to direct ‘Himmatwali’ herself from the beginning. Rekha’s plan was to use Shyam Bhattarai to shot the most difficult parts and let him go.
According to Rekha’s plan, the climax of the movie was shot first. Shyam worked the first two days and left after the completion of the most difficult part of the movie. In the climax, Rekha rode horse, camel and fights villains. The source says, when Rekha got comfortable working without Shyam she asked him to leave her alone. The issue is such that, they aren’t Facebook friends anymore.

Actress Rekha Thapa was forced to start directing her upcoming movie when the director Shyam Bhattarai becomes sick. Rekha relieved Shyam of his directing job so that he could recover and took over the direction of ‘Himmatwali’ herself. In his Facebook post, Shyam has thanked Rekha for letting him go and also appreciated Rekha’s ex-husband for being ‘such a great’ film maker.
Shyam posting his photo with Chhabi after losing Rekha’s job sounds fishy. There is no doubt Chhabi Raj Ojha is a great film maker but, the timing doesn’t sound right. We have asked Shyam for the clarification on the case and will update the post when he replies.
Director of ‘Hamesha‘, Shabir Shrestha is going to produce a movie of his own titled ‘Tathastu’. The movie to feature Rekha Thapa in leading role will feature Kishor Khatiwoda in opposite to Rekha. As before, Rekha will be the central character of the movie. Kishor had acted opposite to Rekha in ‘Kali‘.
Although Rekha is currently busy in the shooting of ‘Himmatwali’ in West Nepal, she has already signed the agreement to do Sabir’s movie. After ‘Damdar’ and ‘Himmatwali’; ‘Tathastu’ will be Rekha’s third movie to release next year.
