2072, Nepali film release calendar

UPDATE (November 17) – ‘Jaun Hinda Pokhara’ release date November 20 and ‘Adha Page’ date December 25 added.

Nepali year 2072 BS started on Tuesday, Baisaksh 1 (April 14, 2015). No new Nepali movies were released on the first Friday of the new year, on April 17. On  the second week, April 24 new movie ‘Resham Filili’ was released and previously released film ‘Jhola’ was also re-released. On the very next day, devastating earthquake hit Nepal and and halted all the film activities for the next few months.

The earthquake was the reason behind no new film release for three months from April to July.

Friday Release -Jungabhumi, post-earthquake release calendar

The release of new Nepali movies had halted right after the April 25 earthquake. Starting last week with the release of ‘One Side Love’, new Nepali movies have started to release in theaters. This Friday, on July 10, another Nepali movie ‘Jungbhumi’, featuring Biraj Bhatt, has released.

The movie, probably dubbed from Bhojpuri, features Biraj Bhatt with South Indian actress Rani Chhatarjee. The action movie is made on a story about love of parents. (Click here for the list of all the movies of Biraj Bhatt in xnepali)

Biraj Bhatt movie, Jungbhumi to release on July 10

NOTE: For the fans of Biraj Bhatt, we have posted his 2014 release movie ‘Gunda’ (watch ‘Gunda’ here).

At the time when no new movies are being released, a Bhojpuri-dubbed Nepali movie featuring actor Biraj Bhatt is being released in theatres in Nepal on July 10. The movie featuring Biraj Bhatt opposite of South Indian actress Rani Chhatarjee is a presentation of Karan Shrestha Crazy.

So far, none of the Bhojpuri-dubbed movies of Biraj Bhatt had been successful among Nepali viewers. Although the distributors have claimed that the movie was made both in Nepali and Bhojpuri, the trailer clearly shows the Indian settings. To add to the suspicion, there is no dialogue in the trailer. The trailer shows only action scenes.
