No, Nepal didn’t get Democracy in 1951 (2007 BS)

I was doing an analysis of events of 1951 when Rana regime was abolished and ‘democracy’ was established. But, it seem to be totally opposite. The Rana seem to be more liberal than the kings. There was a constitution written three years before Rana were thrown out of power. The constitution at least tells that people had fundamental rights. But, after ‘democracy’ was brought in and Rana were kicked out of power, all the fundamental rights were transferred to the King in the second constitution that was promulgated 15-years later.

Video reports about the 2007 BS event and how India used it to its benefit:

The first constitution of Nepal, released in 1948 (2004 BS) had given all the fundamental rights to the citizen of Nepal. Although other following clauses restrict such rights, it had at-least mentioned the supremacy of the citizen. But, the constitution release by the king, in 1962 (2019 BS) transferred all these rights to the King.

Can Himani correct the Spoiled prince Paras ?

Everybody knows – Paras Shah is a spoiled prince (an ex-prince to be politically correct although there are still some people who prefer to call him a prince.) I prepared a biography video of Paras a while ago. The video got almost 900K views in a year. That is an indication that he still has the charm of the royalty – he is still a celebrity.

Paras wasn’t born to be a crown prince. His father wasn’t born to be a king. But, luck made Gyanendra a king of Nepal – twice in his lifetime. The first time he became the king he was a child. The four-year-old king didn’t get India’s approval and was dethroned when his grand father – King Tribhuwan returned back from exile in India.

The second time he became lucky again. When all the family members of King Birendra were killed in the 2001 royal massacre, Gyanendra was crowned the new king in the year. Gyanendra waited a few months before announcing his son, Paras, the crown prince. But, Paras’s dream to become the king of Nepal was cut-short when monarchy was abolished in 2008.

New Twist in Shrisha Karki case – Uddhav Bhandari committed suicide in UK

One of the most sad moment in the Nepali film industry was in 2002 when actress Shrisha Karki committed suicide over a photo published in a weekly tabloid – ‘Jana Aastha’. The whole film industry was shocked by the extreme action taken by the aspiring actress and everybody accused the journalist of causing the distress to the actress.

Case was filed against the chief editor of the newspaper – Kishor Shrestha and two writers mentioned in the news article. But, they all got cleared because the case wasn’t prepared well. None of the accused were punished for the action. The newspaper editor, Kishor Shrestha, later told that the photo of the actress was taken by a police officer and given to them. Everybody believed the police officer, Uddhav Bhandari, was the main culprit.

But, when I went back to the case and did a little research – the truth seem to be something else. It seems, Uddhav Bhandari was used by the journalist just to make a case. It seems, Bhandari doesn’t have anything to do with the case.

A summary of my conspiracy theory is :

Truth of Shrisha Karki suicide case of 2002, was it a fake news?

Actress Shrisha Karki committed suicide in August of 2002 after a photo was published in a tabloid, ‘Jana Aastha’. The death of the 24-years old actress shocked the entire film industry. The film artists went to streets with demand to arrest and prosecute the journalist who published the photo in the newspaper. The editor of the weekly, Kishor Shrestha, went into hiding and everybody was looking for him. People vandalized the newspaper office. It was one of the very bad incident in the history of the Nepali film industry. But, nobody was arrested or prosecuted.

It has been 16 years of the incident – in 2018, the journalist, Kishor Shrestha is the acting chief of the official media watchdog of the Nepal Government, Press Council Nepal.

10 Smoking Hot Actresses – Priyanka, Namrata to Rekha Thapa (Update)

This is an update to a previous post on the subject. I have also updated the video report for this post.

The original video was made on the suggestion of one of my Twitter friends. The suggestion was make video report on Nepali actresses who smoke and drink in real life. Actually I wasn’t really interested in doing the report in the beginning. It was their personal freedom and I wasn’t a person to judge them by their habits. Drinking is not a taboo anymore. And, smoking is a bad habit almost all of the smokers want to quit.

Unless a drunk person acts irresponsibly, drinking doesn’t usually interface with the other people. But, smoking can expose non-smokers passive smoking. Smokers can at times be a nuisance too. But, I wasn’t willing to discuss the issue until I remember Rajesh Hamal’s incident during the shooting of one of his films. Then I prepared a video report (attached at the end of the post). The following video is the update to the video.

Nepali Movie – Naike (Just description)

Nepali Film – Naike
Starring – Aryan Sigdel, Surabina Karki, Sarika KC, Rem BK etc.
Director – Netra Gurung

The movie released in 2014 (read the release news) wasn’t successful movie. The movie was released with Sambhu Pradhan’s comeback film ‘Ranga Baijani’. But, neither of the movies were liked by the viewers. The movie features Aryan Sigdel in an action role. With Aryan Sigdel and Surabina Karki, the movie also features Rem BK, Bodhraj Regmi, Sarika KC etc. I wrote about the start of the movie in Pokhara (read the news here) and also talked about Aryan being featured as a gangster (read the news). In addition to action it also features romance and music. Aryan is also featured as a lover-boy image in addition to being featured in a tough action role.

The movie made under Black Shadow Production is directed by Netra Gurung, a film director from Pokhara. Most of the movie was also shot in various locations in and around Pokhara. “Naike” is a Nepali word for a leader. Although it is a Nepali word, the name in various posters were spelled in different English letters. Some posters named the film as ‘Naike’ and others ‘Naaike’ (attached poster is a proof). The confusion in the name is a better indication how the editing of the film might have been done. No wonder, people didn’t like the film.

Watch the full movie in 13 minutes in the following video. Enjoy the short version until the full film is available.

Prem Geet 2 actress Aslesha shows how to build a hot, curvy and attractive body

The secret of hot curvy and attractive body of Aslesha Thakuri is a regular workout. Although she is a vegetarian, she eats enough protein to make up the body needs.

Aslesha Thakuri debuted as an actress in ‘Prem Geet 2’, the sequel of a superhit movie ‘Prem Geet’. In the movie she is featured opposite to Pradeep Khadka. Although the film was successful and Pradeep Khadka became the new sensation in the Nepali film industry, the success of the movie wasn’t helpful to the actress. The Aslesha and Pradeep couple wasn’t liked by the viewers.

After the first movie, there is no report of Aslesha signing another movie. But, by the way she is building up her body, there might be some unannounced project in which Aslesha might be coming.

In the following report, Aslesha is seen working out on her body to build the attractive body.
