Holi at Karishma Manandhar place and Binod’s birthday

Film producer and Karishma Manandhar‘s husband Binod Manandhar celebrated his birthday on Holi. To celebrate his birthday and Holi with film artists Karishma had organized a party in her house. Like in year 2011, many of the film artists had shown up in the party to enjoy the festival of colors.

In the party, Binod cut a cake and Karishma opened a bottle of champagne and shared them with the guests. Almost 600 guests were present in the event. Last year, Karishma didn’t organized such party because of the mourning on the death of Binod’s father.

Miss Nepal 2013 is Ishani Shrestha

Ishani Shrestha has won the Miss Nepal 2013 title after giving the best answer to the question on joint family and dis-joint family. Miss Nepal 2013 Shristi Shrestha crowned the new Miss Nepal in the event held on March 20 in Pragya Bhawan. After winning the title, Ishani will represent Nepal in Miss World 2013 beauty contest.

This year’s Miss Nepal beauty contest is going to be held on March 17, 2013 in Hotel Annapurna in Durbar Marg. Selected finalists are being prepared for the big day. Apart from preparing themselves for the contest, they are also visiting social and business organizations to know about their works.

Audio of ‘Kollywood’ released, again

In a press meet held in Kathmandu, the audio of upcoming movie ‘Kollywood’ was released on December 30, 2012. The music was previously unveiled in a program held in Qatar, and the second release of the CD is believed to be nothing more than a publicity stunt.

In the audio release program Ashok Sharma was the chief guest. The director Navaraj Acharya, actors Aryan Sigdel, ac
tress Priyanka Karki and the producer Tanka Karki jointly unveiled the music CD. The movie features three songs including an item song. Miss Nepal 2011 Malina Joshi is also featured in one of the songs in the movie.

Republica Miss Teen 2012 is Keshu Khadka

Keshu Khadka was selected to wear the crown of this year, Republica Miss Teen 2012, in an event held on December 23, 2012, in Army Officers Club, Kathmandu.

There were 18 participants out of which 10 were selected after talent round and best dress round, for the final competition. The judges of the event included Sabita Bhandari Baral, photographer Raj Bhai Suwal, model Mahesh Shrestha, businessman Ujjwal Kumar Shrestha, and Rajendra Malla.

Rajesh Payal Rai planning to get married?

In a latest report, bachelor singer, Rajesh Payal Rai, has finally made up his mind to get married. While he was in London during his Europe tour, he had a long discussion with his parents who live there about marriage. His parents wanted Rajesh to marry soon and like an obedient son, Rajesh has agreed to get married soon.

Rajesh Payal Rai is currently in Australia and he is doing a live concert in Sydney on Saturday. The concert is being organized by Tamu Samaj, Australia to mark the Losar festival. Another famous singer Anjana Gurung and
comedian dancer Bijay Thapa will also perform with Rajesh in the concert.

18th Miss Nepal to be held March 15, application deadline Jan 31

In a program organized in Kathmandu, The Hidden Treasure announced the date of the Miss Nepal 2013 – the 18th edition of the biggest beauty contest in Nepal. Miss Nepal, considered the most prestigious and popular of all the beauty contests held in Nepal, is scheduled to be organized on March 15, 2013.

This year, Fanta of Bottelers’ Nepal will also be the co-sponsor with the Hidden Treasure. The winner of the Miss Nepal 2013 will also be appointed the brand ambassador of drink, Fanta, for a year.

Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2012 is Parina Subba

In an event held in Hong Kong, Parina Subba was selected the Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2012 on December 23, 2012. The beauty contest organized by Miss Hong Kong Nepal society, Honk Kong, was held in You Ma Tei Community Center, in Hong Kong.

Another Nepali beauty in Hong Kong, Manisha Rai, was awarded the first runner-up title and Pramila Thapa was awarded the second runner-up title in the event. After winning the title, Parina was
awarded with the Miss Hong Kong Nepal crown and HK$ 10,000 cash prize. The first runner-up Manisha Rai received HK$ 5,000 cash prize and the second runner up Pramila Thapa received HK$ 3,000 check after winning the title.

Miss Nepal 2013 to be held on Chaitra 2

This year’s Miss Nepal beauty contest is scheduled to be held on Chaitra 2, 2069 (March 16, 2013) in the capital. Last Friday, the organizer of the beauty contest, Hidden Treasure, organized a press conference to inform about the details of upcoming Miss Nepal. The official name of the contest is named ‘Fanta the Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal’ after the co-sponsor Bottlers Nepal.

Further, it has informed that deadline of form submission has been fixed for Magh 18. Form can be collected from the office of Bottlers Nepal at Kupondole or can be downloaded from its official site missnepal.com.np. Interested candidates have to submit form with personal biodata within the deadline.
