Resham Filili, official video of Jalama delayed

The popular song of upcoming movie ‘Resham Filili’ titled ‘Jalama …’ has received unprecedented response from the audience. The song is so popular that numerous covers, music videos and re-recordings have surfaced online. The film makers had only released the audio and haven’t released the video yet. May be because of the popularity, they have decided not to release the video until the release of the movie.

One music video made on the song by Australian dancers have gone viral and received positive reviews. Now the film makers have a challenge to make a better video to such a popular song. May be because of that risk they have decided to delay the release of the video. International fashion designer Prabal Gurung had also tweeted the video link to the ‘Jalama … ‘ dance.

Happy Birthday Anmol KC, celebration with Anna Sharma and mom Sushmita

The son of popular actor Bhuwan KC and actress Sushmita KC (Sushmita Bomzom) actor Anmol KC has celebrated his birthday on March 30 with his mother and actress Anna Sharma. By the way Anna and Anmol are seen together in various functions, it is apparent that Anmol and Anna are more than friends.

On his birthday, Anmol went to a temple to pray with his father and in the afternoon he met his mother for lunch at Embers restaurant. In a Facebook post Sushmita has written, “Enjoying lunch with my birthday boy Anmol and my daughter Anna… family, happy family.”

Rekha meets acid attack victims

Actress Rekha Thapa has helped the two acid attack victims meet for the first time after the ill-fated incident. Rekha took Sima Basnet to Kathmandu Medical College in her car to meet her friend Sangata Magar, who is badly burned by the attack. Sima was was in Bir Hospital for follow up check up when Rekha meet her. The acid attack victims Sima Basnet and Sangita Magar were very happy to meet and embraced each other in hugs and cried together.

With Rekha, ‘Bhimdutta’ director Himgyap Lama and Seven Submitter Susmita Maskey had also met the two teens. Sushmita said, “This was the most difficult visit ever. Seema and Sangita, the acid attack victims met each other for the first time after the attack that happened more than a month ago.”

Destination Kathmandu, last movie of Deepak Rayamajhi releasing on May 8

The last movie of late director, Deepak Rayamajhi, is releasing on May 8, almost four years after his death in 2011. The movie will compete with ‘Hostel Returns’, a sequel of hit movie ‘Hostel‘. Only eighty percent of the movie was complete at the time of his death. The assistant director, Madhu Sudhan Bhattarai, has completed the movie.

‘Destination Kathmandu’ features actors Dilip Rayamajhi, Saray Mawbey (Australian actress), Jharana Thapa and Suvekshya Thapa in leading roles. The movie features the cultural and traditional difference between Nepal and Australia. The movie is produced by Sharad Adhkari. The script of the movie is written by Shivam Adhikari is is produced under the banner of Sunrise Group Entertainments and Janapukar Media House.

Lootera release date announced Bhairav delayed

The release date of the movie on floor ‘Lootera’ has been announced even before the shooting has completed. The release is scheduled for August 28, 2015. The movie produced by the distributor and theater owner, Gopal Kayastha, is scheduled to release on the occasion of Janai Purnima festival.

Known to be a successful distributor, Gopal says that he is going to be a successful producer with ‘Lootera’. The shooting of the movie featuring Nikhil Upreti in leading role has reportedly delayed the release of his movie ‘Bhairav’. The movie was initially scheduled to release on April 1 has been delayed because the producer Nikhil is too busy in the shooting and hasn’t found time to promote the movie before the release.

Namaste Nepal to release in May and July

A movie shot entirely in Europe, ‘Namaste Nepal’ is ready for release in May in Europe. The movie however will release a bit late, on July 17 (Shrawan 1, 2072), in Nepal. Currently preparing for the release, the movie features actors Sabin Shrestha, Shyam Shrestha, Anna, Anuj Pradha, Gopal Dhakal, Kamala Dahal, Parbati Adhikari and others. With this movie popular choreographer Raju Shah is debuting as a director.

The movie produced under the banner of Dwarika Production, is produced jointly by Pradeep Kumar Uday, Mandira Shrestha and Riju Shah. The movie features the choreography of Raju Shah / Teresa and action by Chandra Pant. Foreign star cast include Anna, Bond, George, John and others.

Samyam Puri turns 23, happy birthday !

The actor son of director Narayan Puri, Samyam Puri, has turned 23-years-old on March 28. He had celebrated it with his family on Saturday. But, according to the Nepali calendar he celebrated the birthday on March 29 again by cutting a birthday cake among his friends.

Actor Anuragman Singh Kunwar had brought a surprise birthday cake for Samyam and the cake was cut at ‘Mala’ director Sudip Bhupal Singh’s home in Jawalakhel. The artists celebrated the birthday by watching the cricket world cup final. Samyam’s girlfriend Ashma DC was was also present during the celebration.

Parcel, a Lahure movie to be released in three months

The shooting of an upcoming movie ‘Parcal’ has completed and the film makers have promised to release it in three months. The announcement was made in a press meet organized in Dharan to inform about the movie. After 41 days of shooting the movie was completed recently and it is currently in post-production phase.

The movie is made on the story of parcels sent from foreign countries by Lahure (Nepali working in foreign army or police force). The movie was shot in Kathmandu airport and in different parts of East Nepal like Pathivara, Chatara, Ilam, Dharan and Mahendranagar. The movie directed by a debut director of Dharan, Rabin Shrestha, features a police inspector in Singapore, Prabhu Shrestha and Srijana Fago Limbu in leading roles. Other actors include Bikram Singh, Sonu Jayanti, Presika Niraula, Pooja Tamang and Kishor Sambahanfe.

Sabin Shrestha asks his ex Namrata Jha to stop talking about him

Actor Sabin Shrestha has asked his ex-girlfriend Namrata Jha to stop talking about him and taking credit of his success. In his Facebook post, Sabin has told that it has already been two years since he and his girlfriend of 8-years have broken up. In the last two years, he had never called her and says that he is happy that way. We wrote about the break-up of Sabin and Namrata in 2013.

Nikhil Upreti featured as a don in upcoming movie Lootera

The role of actor Nikhil Upreti in the movie on floor, ‘Lootera’ is that of a don. The getup seen in the shooting photos is different from his roles in other movies. Nikhil has made sure that the style and getup of ‘Lootera’ doesn’t match to that of his upcoming release ‘Bhairav’.

‘Lootera’ is being jointly produced by Basanta Kumar Shrestha and Gopal kayastha. With Nikhil artists Nisha Adhikari, Harshika Shrestha and Sabin Shrestha are also featured in leading roles in the movie. After the completion of the shooting of the movie in Kathamndu in a few days, the film crew is moving to Birgunj for the remaining shooting.

A special show of Sadanga held on Friday, released all over Nepal

On the day of release, a special show of the movie ‘Sadanga’ was held for film artists, producers, directors and journalists. The artists of the movie Priyanka Karki, Sauramraj Tuladhar, A Gurung and director Suraj Sunuwar were present in the special show.

After watching the movie made on a gangster story, the role of Saugat Malla was appreciated by everybody. Saugat has effectively added the life to the character he is featured in. Jharana Bajracharya models in a music video before leaving for Malaysia

The actress Jharana Bajracharya was seen at a shooting location of a music video before she leaves to live in Malaysia with her newly-wed husband (Jharana married on March 12). The music video titled ‘Timro Maun Ishara …’ is features Bishwa Nepali and Sujata Upadhyaya Manandhar. Jharana is featured in the music video opposite to Puspa Khadka.

In a program in Kathamndu, Jharana had indicated that she might be retiring after the marriage and moving to Malaysia. In another latest interview, she has however kept the door open for movies with good script and story. Working in music video after two weeks of marriage is an indication that she has nothing against acting and that she has only prioritized other works on top of acting.
